Abstract
Mutagenic ribonucleosides can act as broad-based antiviral agents. They are metabolized to the active ribonucleoside triphosphate form and concentrate in genomes of RNA viruses during viral replication. β-D-N4-hydroxycytidine (NHC, initial metabolite of molnupiravir) is >100-fold more active than ribavirin or favipiravir against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), with antiviral activity correlated to the level of mutagenesis in virion RNA. However, NHC also displays host mutational activity in an animal cell culture assay, consistent with RNA and DNA precursors sharing a common intermediate of a ribonucleoside diphosphate. These results indicate highly active mutagenic ribonucleosides may hold risk for the host.
We already know how to stop corona and rhino viruses in their tracks: we use the body’s own defense, which is the element Zinc. Various additives like HCQ or Quercetin … or even spinach and kale … act as “ionophores” to help the zinc get to where it needs to go, but it is the zinc that does the job.
We fully understand the biochemistry of how zinc interferes with viral replication, and have known about it for a very long time. We know that the body uses this defense because people who’ve been fighting a virus often become deficient in zinc.
You can kick the common cold to the curb using groceries if you understand this chemistry. (It doesn’t take much zinc to do the job.)

Once temp gets high enough, the virus dies. Fever “breaks”, and everyone breathes a sigh of relief, knowing the patient will recover.
You can USE this; at first sign of respiratory infection, get in a bathtub, and run the water as hot as you can stand it, have thermostat turned up, and plenty of blankets. Its good to have an “attendant”, to assist you out of bath and into bed, as you can get dizzy.
Want to take your core temp up to 103, at least.
Taking aspirin, or worse tylenol, to suppress your temp, is actually counter-productive, from a standpoint of killing the virus.
But, it enables you to go to work, etc so you can infect others.
If FDA allowed that few number of patients, the corruption cof the process continues.
That’s 3x what the Aug Pfizer FDA document had for the Booster shot phase 3 study, which only had 306 participants. A normal phase 3 should have 20,000 or more.

Molnupiravir was also reported mutagenic in the Ames test in bacteria which left the question open as to its mutagenic potential in eukaryotic cells. This paper, in part, addresses that question…. the assay used in the linked paper is a standard assay run in a hamster [CHO…Chinese hamster ovary] cell line.
Therefore it appears that Molunpiravir can be incorporated into the RNA of the virus as well as the DNA of a host to cause mutations. What matters is the efficiency with which it competes with the normal nucleosides and the rate of growth of the organism. The virus, replicating faster than the host cell, becomes the preferential target [it’s RNA polymerase is likely more efficient at incorporating the analog than the host DNA replicating enzymes].
A number of cancer drugs are also nucleoside analogs that cause mutations in growing cells….but they are/can be also toxic to the host. Since many types of cancer cells replicate faster than normal host cells [many of which don’t replicate or do so only under certain conditions]…and don’t stop, the cancer cells become the preferential target [though not to the exclusion of normal host cells].
To be fair, ivermectin has also been reported to induce some genotoxic effects….particularly chromosomal abberations…. [https://www.pjps.pk/wp-content/uploads/pdfs/32/2/Paper-23.pdf], but these studies seem few and far between, and the effects appear to apply to long term exposure [and also the mechanism seems to be different…though, again, not well-explored].
Apparent safety profile, multiple targets, and cost…..ivermectin seems again like a no-brainer.
