Anyone fed in DC with a 4 year degree (doesn’t matter what) is a GS12 minimum after a few years service. And most will retire as a 14 or higher.
A GS 12 makes between 87k and 113k a year
A GS 14 makes between 122k and 159k a year
And a GS 15 the highest civilian level before the SES makes between 144k and 172k
SES make between 132k and 199k
ES make between 161k and 221k
And then there are the agencies that pay more or differently like the SEC CFPB

I have female friends I test weekly to see if they’ve heard this or that and they never have heard about it at all. They deny watching CNN or MSNBC but they watch HDTV and the networks so somehow the MSM narrative gets through to them.

Sounds like my mom. Had an electric stove that lasted 60 years. When we bought something, we rarely if ever bought another one. That stove was still working when she died and was given away or trashed. Any electronic piece of equipment now that quits working is tossed out. No one knows how to repair them and if you can get it repaired, you can buy a new one cheaper than repairing it.

I agree we are certainly under attack, but it has nothing to do with stupidity, just the opposite. It’s brilliant. They bought our greedy politicians and compromised our education system. Then by placing more emphasis on indoctrination than education they captured a high percentage of our youth. This was a brilliant plan well executed. The only way to stop it at this point will be brute, but necessary. Corrupt officials must be ousted and severely punished. People need to see there is still justice and the weak and greedy need to see there are consequences for their traitorous acts.

As a physician myself, I’m ashamed of how my profession has reacted to this virus. The 4th paragraph, unfortunately, applies to way too many physicians.

In fact I have two of them.
One of them is really my husband’s, he is an orthopedic specialist that is going to do my husband’s back surgery and he like our family doctor does not wear a mask in the examination room.
Interestingly both of these guys are on the younger side.
Our family doctor is probably early fifties and the specialist is early forties.
I do not know if that says anything just that they are not allowing any one to force them to do something they thing is wrong.
Like our government and their oath to the Constitution, the medical profession has openly abandoned the one thing that made it great in the Hippocratic oath.

Please do not take this as an excuse for behavior of the medical profession….they are no longer in charge or control have over anything dealing with the rules, regulations and operations of their professions as well as many of their practices (as in points of service). Costs to belong to the medical profession have gotten so out of control that they are driven to join large practices or subordinate their group practices to HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES.
Business Managers and MBA’s now run the profession, for the most part. Small Private Practice offices are becoming harder to find and those that do exist have long waiting lists for would-be patients.
Hospitals are in the same boat…they are managed, run, regulated and owned by Business Groups (which include HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES and MEDICAL CO-OPS).
EVERYONE has a choice.

They have more of a choice as they are well-educated with skills and financial assets. They as a whole have shown that they are willing to kill people to maintain their status and lifestyle. They are beyond redemption. I’m guessing the average grocery clerk, secretary, truck driver would not be willing to kill people to keep their job – 90% of hospital doctors are.
It is a dwindling number of OLDER Doctors, who have managed to stay independent as they have build up a practice and can stand the financial and regulatory pain.
It is not medical tyranny but financial and legal tyranny, driven by licensing authorities and rules. Doctors are driven now by comply or be put out of the profession and business.
The other interesting source of private practice is the foreign credentialed private practices. I have found a few young Indian Doctors (especially the female doctors) who are quite good. Just hope they can stay credentialed in the face of over regulation by US Government and AMA.

The very few young independents, foreign or domestic educated that I know, have access to enough resources to hide their practice under an LLC or LLP to cover costs and greatly redcue risks. Even with that protection, they are still at risk from licensing and certification czars among the government and their profession.

It always looks easy from the outside and what you are saying is if someone is willing to work themselves to death they can make ends meet ( working after hours and on the weekends).
Our family doctor makes things work one way because he does not take OB patients.
As a one man shop he was just not able to be called every hour of the day by women going into labor and needing care.
So he does not offer that service.
Besides the insurance he needed to cover for the OB services was very expensive and he would not be able to provide enough OB service to pay for just the insurance he needed so it was a loss before he even started.
If people have never run a business themselves they always think it easy to do this or to do that.
In his practice he is the only MD providing medical care, he has 2 PAs working with and 2 nurses on rotation.
He has one staff member up front answering the phone and four full time paper pushers to fill out the insurance work with 2 part time people working from home.
He has a IT specialist that keeps his IT equipment up and going.
He has a small 2 person janitor staff who does the inside and outside upkeep.
To keep a medical practice going it is more than just the doctor checking your blood pressure and looking at patients.
And as for seeing patients on the weekend and on the side, the doctors buy their insurance based on how many patients they see per week and how much money they take in per year.
So the more patients they see and the more money they make the higher their insurance premiums are.
Cash paying patients are few and the more patients they see the more paper pushers they must hire to push the paper work through the various types of insurance.
Some business the more work you do the more money you make and get to keep.
Like companies that do lawns.
A person who mows lawns the more lawns they mow the more money they make and get to keep.
There are some businesses that the harder they work and the more money they make the less of the more money they make they get to keep.
It all goes into some one else’s pocket.
It is a sad law of diminishing returns and government overregulation has led to much of it.
Not to mention the amount of malpractice insurance they have to carry at a hefty price.
No sympathy. I will be fired soon for lack of vaxx but am willing to stand on my principles. I will spend the rest of my life in poverty and my children will have a very limited future if we manage to avoid camps.

your choices are also limited when you come out of residency with $150,000-250,000 in debt…that is a CRUSHING amount of debt and only necessary because medical schools limit their eligible students as a way of limiting the number of doctors available to the public…it was a system perfected in old England with the guilds and apprenticeship programs…limit your workmen and you can inflate prices

We have schools for attorneys up the wazoo and in almost every single state in the union, some states have more than one.
But medical schools are few and some of our doctors go out of the country for their training and then return to try and pass the state boards for licensing.
As you say limit your workman and you can control the prices.

The specialist who is doing the surgery on my husbands back is very anti-mask and he is 41 years old.
It is easy to be prejudiced and lump all medical professionals into one group without taking the time to check.
The partner who works with my husbands doctor, and they are with a huge group of surgeons, is 33 years old and has the same anti- mask opinion as does the 31 year old PA.
These is a group 2 surgeons 1 PA and a nurse who work in a much larger group of 40 surgeons.
I do not know what the other surgeons think of masks or how old they are but these two guys do not have their own practice, just their own opinions.
It is so easy to say all doctors are crooks or all teachers are incompetent and lazy.
Lumping someone in a stereotypical category and leaving them there is easy.
Trying to understand the real situation is a lot harder but must be done to solve the problem.
In my Conservative area of Upstate, SC, 80% of private medical practices, especially GP’s, were extorted into joining one of the local hospital systems as a condition of using many testing/diagnostic tools and surgical facilities. This happened before independent testing/diagnostic companies opened in the area, which are now plentiful. This is the kind of discussions I have with my independently-minded GP. He said the hospital systems made it nearly impossible to stay independent, but he did resist and it was difficult for the first couple of years. They now have maxed out their patient load. Btw, he’s a Conservative.

In Pennsylvania, the protocol is to “make pt comfortable.” Until wuflu, the only time I heard this was in hospice care. We have been abandoned. We had no recourse during our illness except to be nursed back to health by our family. We did use horse ivermectin. As we are over 60 and high risk, I would do it again (proper dosage was figured out). We also had hcq. As sick as we were, I imagine we would have been worse, but we managed not to storm.
I apologize for rambling here at that time. My son told me yesterday that he was worried bc he would talk to me and I made little sense. No comments under wuflu Fever.

If early outpatient treatment is withheld then in the two weeks before hospitalization a cytokine storm will likely occur resulting in a high mortality rate. Being put on a ventilator and given Remdisivir at the hospital is almost a certain death sentence! That’s what happened to my wife’s cousin in PA and he died of course! You did the right treatment and why you’re still here! Praise God!
I disagree with the reason given as being the doctors seeking power. They already had power over us by being the ones to provide needed healthcare. No, it was all about the money. Always follow the money. Individually, They had no power over the greedy hospital admins., insurance companies, and others in control. But collectively, they could have bankrupted the bastards and took over the whole industry. None of it matters w/o the doctors. They were too cowardly to exercise their collective power and now they and we will pay for it. They effectively killed thousands of patients of all ages by pushing the vaccine and the treatment that was and is still killing us by the thousands.
God used Doctors to save my life. I will still use them, but I will continue to question them as I have always done.
Smart people will avoid doctors like the plague. Not only will they kill you or let you die for personal popularity and dollars, they are directly reporting your vaccine status and willingness to comply to the government via electronic records.
Don’t trust them with anything they tell you, and don’t go near one unless it really is a life and death situation not related to an infectious disease – like you need insulin, or severed a limb.

Doctors saved the lives of two of my beautiful grand children and my mother.
The people here who say that eating healthy will cure anything and doctors must always be avoided must be living a life that is so different than mine that I can not comprehend their minds.
You are different, Lulu, than you concede the need for medical care due to disease and severe injury.
I have met one or two doctors in my lifetime who I really did not take to and I also did not take their advice but I do not have the opinion that doctors try to kill me or let me die because they are all greedy SOBs.
I have not needed many doctors in my life but as I say two of my grandchildren and my mother needed serious and intense care from several medical professional and my experience with them and my own through out my life I have only run into two doctors that were weird and odd enough to give me pause.
All of the rest of them seemed professional and good at their jobs.
On HEALTH IMPACT NEWS this morning, a Detroit ABC news affiliate tweeted out they were looking for stories of those who knew anybody who died with Covid. It didn’t turn out as they had hoped, i.e. another scare piece so they could demonize “The Unvaxxed”. He has few skills that directly transfer to the civilian world, a family to support, bills to pay etc. He’s close enough to his retirement to see his life post military while still supporting his family. I remember back in 2008 or so, when the flu was really prevalent, seeing on TV news where a school was temporarily closed for extra “cleaning”, and they showed people cleaning surfaces such as the underside of bookshelves, with a cloth.
I thought at the time how nonsensical it was to be cleaning surfaces where a virus did not and could not live, especially when it was an old building with the tall windows that could have been opened at both the top and bottom, to let the fresh, purifying cold air rush through the building.

Fresh air is such a great thing for humans to have in buildings that otherwise can be very stuffy. We used to have windows at our schools that opened fully to let the outside air in when the weather allowed. I remember how just breathing fresh air helped wake me up in class, where the rooms could be quite stuffy and warm. Luckily, most of my teachers over the years were only too happy to get that air inside for the kids and themselves. Even in winter, I had several teachers who regularly cracked the windows open and let that very cold air come flooding in for short spurts and some left the windows open just an inch or so all the time during the cold months. Airtight, closed off, artificially cooled, heated, recirculated air just isn’t the same.

I couldnt care less about games played with balls and even less about those that play with them professionally. Kids can do the same thing and its free.
When done right, professional sports can be a good thing. I can be quite the boon for a local economy. It brings a lot of people together (consider Whitney Houston super bowl ’91). NFL is on the verge of mandating all who attend games must be completely vaxxed or stay home. The Bills were the last team to do this the other day and joined 4 other teams in doing so. It won’t be long before they all take this step, except maybe the teams in FL. It will pave the way for other sports leagues to do the same thing now that the most popular sport in the USA is doing it. A real big mess is brewing. I know most here don’t give two cents for the sports teams but it is a big influencer on mainstream Americans who still love their sports.
It will be interesting to see how angry the fans get or will they cave to the teams and get vaxxed in order to attend games, because they just cannot give up their football and aren’t too worried about giving up their freedoms and their children’s freedoms for the future.
Reading many of the comments on the Buffalo Bills site, there are about half or more who think the mandates are a great idea and have absolutely no knowledge about the shots not working. They think they will be completely safe if the unvaxxed are banned from the stadiums.
Not a single thought in their heads about the fact they are taking a knee to the govt. and giving up freedoms and setting a precedent for more control by the govt over the people on many more issues and mandates. That’s how clueless they really are. As long as they can go to games and not worry about any of that virus stuff, they are happy. Banging my head against a wall here. Ugh.
As a side note, two of the Bills players who are not vaxed have offered to buy fans tickets to out of town games so that people who give up their seats can get to see the team in person. I thought that was pretty cool!

Good idea. I got banned from NextDoor. I started long threads about Covid and vaccines. A lot of really good info got out there before they shut it down. I wrote them to ask why I had been suspended when I never insulted or demeaned anyone. They said I was spreading misinformation.
I did lose some friendly neighbors but I don’t want anything to do with them anyway. But I am known as the nutcase that would not accept the results of the election. The HOA wrote me in early January and told me my Trump flag had to come down. I told them the election was not over. I think the media and the left are conflating the reasons for Miley’s calls to China. This had nothing to do with nuclear codes or a possible attack on China by President Trump. These calls were made to re assure China that PDT would lose the election and that Milley would personally stop any attempt by PDT to declare martial law or use the Insurrection Act. I have seen plenty of evidence that a foreign power (likely China) interfered with the machines and the numbers on election night. The second call to China was right after January 6 when Milley again reassured China that he would control the situation, that the country would be stabilized.
Even China knew that PDT wouldn’t launch an attack on them. These phonecalls were made to reassure China that the steal was successful and Donald Trump would be removed from the White House. Folks, this was a coup.
Our federal Intel agencies bent over backwards to keep from implicating China in 2020 election interference. It’s plain as day in their final report on election security. They’re all in bed with the CCP. ALL OF THEM.
