I grew up in an era where if the animal was sick you put it out of its misery. Nobody “rescued” any animal. Animals were working partners and guards, they were not substitute children for the childless middle-aged purple hairs.
Hate to disagree with you, but having had numerous animals around me my entire life I can positively say they are much more as living beings than what you are implying and should be treated as such.
To use them, their loyalty, innocence, dependency which humans created and willingness to help -for dogs anyway-and then just abandoned them to whatever fate they find even though they are used to being cared for and have no experience fending for themselves, is just cruelty. Simple human decency dictates that should not happen.
People’s lives are number one in importance for most people, but animals do not exist to be mistreated and discarded at will. They provide so much for life on this planet and for humans and do not deserve to be treated so callously. imo.

Not sure what era you grew up in but I grew up in the 50s. Not only did I come from generations of pet owners, we always had dogs and cats but I and my 5 brothers regularly ‘rescued’ birds, snakes, hedge hogs, turtles, lizards, bats, rabbits, etc.. I still do to this day. Some made it and others were given a solemn burial w/ homemade headstones.

Is there not another qualified criminal trial attorney admitted to the DC Bar among the literally probably 10,000 strong membership whi can enter his or her appearance? No brave young associate at any of the big firms with their pro bono programs where the young lawyers are encouraged to cut their teeth. They regularly represent death row prisoners in the Innocence Project but their hands are too clean to represent a trespassing, or even actually innocent, J6 defendant?

A patient on a ventilator almost certainly has entered the clotting phase and thereby not able to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide on the capillary level. The virus has already done its work.

Availability and prices vary. I took a field trip last week to find out more so that I could provide concise instructions to the local school district and to pastors so that they could get the word out. University of Texas – Tyler enlarged their capabilities yesterday. Up until now, they had a waiting list and were having to work on an appointment basis. In Texas, a doctor’s order is required. At UT-Tyler, the infusion is administered in a negative flow room located in an ICU. There is a facility charge of about $600.
A couple of urgent care practices in Tyler offer the whole package of MD’s order and infusion onsite. Neither one accepts Medicare or Medicaid for their services. They do accept commercial plans for which they are in-network. They also accept cash.

But he did not sound in any way surprised by the question, and he definitely did not pause at all after the Mike Lee name. (In fact he said it so quickly that I think the commenters above saying Hawley was first may not have heard it.) He rattled off the list with exactly the same emphasis on each as if he’d memorized it in advance, and then added “I hope someone will run.” I got no impression that he was emphasizing any of them over the others.
So – make of that what you will, as the first commenter said.
The next part of the interview was about Nov3 and the gaffe Mo made at the rally.
He reiterated that he was the first in Congress to start the movement to ask for more time to certify the swing state electors. I had forgotten that. It’s a pretty important fact IMHO. He sounds very solid on the need for forensic audits to me, and on everything else he talked about with Bannon.
Of course if in a year it turns out he was another Jeff Sessions who only started that movement as a Deep State move to get PDJT into a trap, then all I will say is that stranger things have happened.
But as of now I have no problem with him. He’s in no way perfect, but there’s nothing even close to perfect in the Senate we have right now.

My understanding is the SCOTUS declined to grant an emergency injunction. The law will be challenged in courts, but will stand and be enforced unless overturned.
It is also my understanding that no one will be arrested or directly shut down. The clinics can be sued into oblivion by private citizens. It’s basically an end-around Roe v Wade instead of a direct challenge.
The law has already been green-lighted by the 5th circuit.

I can only see it as maybe a threat to planned parenthood for pressuring people into abortion.
The lawsuits need to be against any doctor who detects a heartbeat and goes ahead anyway. There is an existing law to be broken. It’s called the Heartbeat Bill for that reason.
Terri Schilling’s interview today postulated that a nurse seeing a doctor doing this has every incentive to sue because she also would be considered liable in the crime.
By the way, it’s not a 100% ban. Abortions can still happen in the weeks before a heartbeat can be detected. Terri said that was about 6 weeks.

They would also forego any profits to themselves or their agencies from vaccine patents and other medical products or, at a bare minimum, be very forthright about their financial arrangements.
Instead, we get NONE of that.

Our school board voted 2 weeks ago to leave the mask/no mask decision up to the parent(s).
Back to school yesterday, and most of the students and teachers were NOT wearing masks!

I was actually sent a “free” 5G phone. If you do get a phone for free, go to a store to see a rep face to face as the new AT&T phone came preloaded with a plan and it took the store tech to be sure it was added to my existing plan at no charge, and to kill the pre-loaded plan.
You can go along with it or risk no mobile device in January 2022 when backwards compatibility is highly likely to be stopped … that is going to be your choice.
My opinion is this is setting up for future implementation of something very bad in support of the Government. My 3G was phone and text only … not even GPS. I stripped my new 5G down to bare bones software wise, and the locating capabilities are still buried in amongst all the unwanted crap required to be on the phone and which comes with updates activated.
