I had to look into this claim since I am in Senator Dush’s district and knew that he went with Sen. Mastriano to AZ to review their audit process. I am going to have to look into it some more but I did see this statement on his website.

He says he is in support of the audit. That Tioga county has been put in a tough spot by the secretary of state which is saying they will have to replace there voting machines if they give out the information. Seems like they are trying to work around it.
Tioga county is a rural county with a population of around 40k. In his statement he said it would be 1.3 million to replace their voting machines and that is why they are hesitating. He also said they are cooperating as much as they can.
That’s the info I have gathered so far. This is his first term so I’m not really sure how strong he is on policy.

If Abbott even gives a passing thought to locking down he can clean out his desk because Allen West is waiting to run the state like it should be run. Retired Magistrate here: Just came in from our backyard deck enjoying the lovely day here in rural Central Ohio. The butterflies and hummingbirds are out in full force enjoying the flowers in the yard. I know there is a lot going on in this country that is not good; however, I choose to enjoy the day that I have. Especially this Summer.
At the start of May I got shingles behind my ear, in my head, forehead, right eye and down the right side of my face. Figured out what it was fairly fast but not fast enough that it did not go in my cornea. Took about a month to get that calmed down and then several days later got anterior uveitis (inflammation between the iris and cornea) in the same eye. Really bad; could hardly see out of that eye and extremely painful. Got that calmed down and about 10 days ago it came back really strong. Slowly getting it calmed down again. In the meantime my husband was passing kidney stone after kidney stone and in tremendous pain.
So, for now, it looks like my right eye is calming down and my husband hasn’t passed a kidney stone for several weeks. Life is good. It helps to put things in perspective.

Very interesting. My friend, male, 65 yrs old, also got shingles on the side of his face, behind his ear, down his neck, left side, in May. Never had it before, not vaxed, doesn’t go out much accept to the grocery store. Everything seems suspicious to me now!
Oh yeah, and we live in Ohio.
Shingles is caused by the “chicken-pox virus” and it becomes much more likely after 60+. I don’t know if the vaccine … which at least is a real one … does anything useful.
The shingles vaccine is 93% effective I believe. So still 7% chance of getting shingles even if vaccinated.
My MIL had shingles and then got the vaccine once it was available. She did get shingles once again much later on.
You can get shingles multiple times and depending upon which part of the body if effects, can be very dangerous/disabling. Shingles in the eye(s) as Marcia has detailed, has the potential to leave one blind.
Besides that, the pain from shingles is something you will never forget – very, very painful.
I had a terrible time with chickenpox as a kid, down for weeks, my bumps had bumps, shingles is a vaccine I actually plan on demanding, soon.
Not sure where you get that stat on effectiveness, several people i know that got shingles vax.. then got shingles afterward. i don’t anyone who got the shingles vax & didn’t get shingles.
