Given Barr’s comments, I think President Trump would have been better off firing just about everyone from his administration and just leaving many positions vacant. And if Congress wanted to impeach him over it, so be it. There were snakes literally everywhere.

I’m sure he thought the executive branch would rally around him, as professionals, since he won the election. But they didn’t and after two years President Trump should have shifted gears. Bannon should have been brought back in as the Chief of Staff. He should have started demanding resignations the military generals and SES types, and Ambassadors, across the board. I know from experience that the depth of the bench in the military is deep, and many officers are available to step up (several ranks if need be). It’s always “next man up.” I think the civilian types are the same. Just have to go deep to find them. I saw this on American Greatness and it makes me sad…sad that the political prisoners being held by our government have gotten little to no support from our MAGA movement. None of them should have had to be consigned to the corrupted lawfare representatives that participate in the DC or federal justice cases.
The lack of support from the republicans in Congress or even at our state levels does not surprise me…it only continues to support my opinion that they are not worth my time nor my money nor my vote. Watched that last night….they got into some deep weeds. I’m definitely a “wait and see” type person, so I’ll put some of those things up on a shelf for a while. The one thing that really got my attention was the exact manner in which the ‘building 7’ in NYC and the condo in Florida came down—-totally pancaked. I haven’t spent time observing building implosions, but I’m definitely not convinced of the sinkhole/shoddy workmanship explanation of the condo.
I do like to listen to lots of different people’s theories for things and then wait for the corroboration to start rolling in (or not). May God give us discernment in these perilous times!

Just got an update from my bro in Starr county down on the border. From what he has learned, Abbott and Trump will drop into Edinburg and then McAllen where they will meet with the new mayor. He is getting up early and will join in. He said he will be carrying, too. Constitutional carry, y’know. I asked about a Trump train and he said he would inquire from a republican operative about that. Apparently, there is an individual in his town that does a Trump train like no other.
I relayed the news from a DM article that said there have been over a dozen people disappeared between Monterrey and Nuevo Laredo and he said that is the reason he never goes without being armed. Things are bad between his county on down to Brownsville. Apparently, the cartels have been squeezed on their ‘deliveries’ by law enforcement and are resorting to kidnapping and such to make up the difference. He mentioned they have infiltrated into Dimmit County where the Sheriff is so overwhelmed he is recruiting, deputizing able bodied, licensed volunteers to do the Wyatt Earp thang….Get in the Fight or Get out of the Way. These cartel members are seeking victims in small towns and ranch roads.

I’m seeing unusual site behavior today – since about mid-day. Specifically, when I load the site it lands with the June 26th post about JoeBamanomics as the top post – I can’t find anything from today unless I scroll to the margin and recent comments in order to find today’s presidential politics post. I’ve experienced this on my phone and my laptop.
Not sure if it’s just me or others are seeing it as well – posted here to pass along in case it’s a system issue rather than an isolated end user issue 🙂

Tell once again, what’s the point of the vaccine?
First, it was to reduce the severity of symptoms and reduce chance of death in the susceptible demographic–compromised and elderly.
Then, it morphed into a protective vaccine, capable of staving off contagion and illness in the vaccinated. Only the vaxxed can be free without masking/isolation.
Then, it morphed into a panacaea for all ages, including the heretofore resistant youth.
Except, it’s always caveated under interrogation that the vaccine is not known to stop transmission, and the messaging is mixed on efficacy in staving off illness. This vaccine is the ultimate ink blot.
Currently, our estimates show that we have to accept four fatal and 16 serious side effects per 100,000 vaccinations in order to save the lives of 2–11 individuals per 100,000 vaccinations, placing risks and benefits on the same order of magnitude.
Method: We calculated the number needed to vaccinate (NNTV) from a large Israeli field study to prevent one death. We accessed the Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) database of the European Medicines Agency and of the Dutch National Register (lareb.nl) to extract the number of cases reporting severe side effects and the number of cases with fatal side effects. Result: The NNTV is between 200–700 to prevent one case of COVID-19 for the mRNA vaccine marketed by Pfizer, while the NNTV to prevent one death is between 9000 and 50,000 (95% confidence interval), with 16,000 as a point estimate. The number of cases experiencing adverse reactions has been reported to be 700 per 100,000 vaccinations. Currently, we see 16 serious side effects per 100,000 vaccinations, and the number of fatal side effects is at 4.11/100,000 vaccinations. For three deaths prevented by vaccination we have to accept two inflicted by vaccination.

My 17yr old son & I (our 2nd trip) my son’s school teacher & her husband & her 10yr old niece escaped to Amish country in Arthur IL yesterday. Sooo much fun! Got there at 8am & left at 4:30p. I wrote a thread about it on Twitter. Recorded the TRUMP rally, so didn’t miss that & was perfect end to a great day. Wanted to share the experience. Everyone should go visit Amish country.

You can’t beat the Amish for their wonderful home cooking. We made several trips to Lancaster, PA as well as Holmes County, Ohio back in the 90’s. Nothing like a day spent shopping for quilts, followed up by a big family-style dinner. If only I could have found a way to fit one of those beautiful gazebos in the back of the car. 😉
My son went nuts in Beechy’s Amish grocery store. I think he dropped about $50 on candy & snacks. LOL
We did the Amish antique stores. My son loves them. He could spend hours there. His teacher was having a blast shopping as well. Hoping she talks the pastor at school into doing a field trip to Arthur this upcoming school year.
Last month our same group went to Hannibal MO & did a day of Mark Twain. Another fun day trip.
The Amish are good at business. I used to be the head designer at a firm which made some of their quilt tops. I used only our “homespun” fabrics, and sent them to production for piecing and assembly. The Amish would then pick them up and hand-stitch the quilting on top. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.) 😉
Nothing wrong with that at all…..most of them do beautiful work. None of that “machine stuff”.
Memories of wonderful afternoons spent in a Amish family’s upstairs bedroom piled high with quilts on the beds. 😀
We had a plant in Holmesville. Most of the Amish young men were electricians and mechanics, and maintained the main equipment and all the machinery involved in making our car parts.
My main go-to guy was Jake, who also helped me maintain the IR scanner guns and was learning the puters and my network, which included everything from Coax, UTP, CAT-2, to CAT-5 and 6 connections.
After dark they would go home with kerosene lanterns on their buggys.

The Amish? There is good & there is bad.
Still, their good ‘parts’ are being connected & revering the earth.
They are a simple people.
Some would abhor their practices.
What they grow from the earth is remarkable — their produce offered at local markets is wonderful .
How they treat animals is questionable to us ‘horse lovers’. (Ah hem — the Amish have some beautiful horses, but to them — they are instruments — and if you are not Amish — you have a problem with that.)
Also, the Amish in Lancaster County, PA — is notable for their Puppy Mills.
They do not use electricity (although they find ways around it); they are very clever; they are industrious; they are hard-working; they do defend their own; and — there is so very much we can learn from the Amish.
The Amish? Think about it.
Honestly, I admire the Amish. I may disagree with them with some things, yet I admire their convictions & their strength.
Whatever turmoil goes on around them — they just keep going.
They are not affected by “our” problems.
Those ‘horse & buggy’s’ just keep on trotting. They tie-up their rigs to whatever commercial establishment they need to visit — could be a harness maker.
Other than that, they manage to provide for their families — all on their own.
Told our host family, when everything goes south, I’m heading to their place so they can teach me how to survive. LOL they laughed at that.
The husband said his horse practically drove it’s self when he was driving, but not so much for his wife…”the horse just goes stupid!” She chimed in from the kitchen & said the horse drove well for her. He said, “oh, ok.” & quickly rolled his eyes.
I will throw in this little tidbit.
According to the Amish, any one who is not Amish — is regarded as ENGLISH.
To the Amish, it does not matter where you came from, nor what color your skin is — if you are not Amish, then you are ENGLISH.
