I won’t mention one of blogs, so disappointed in the writer that there’s way too much animosity toward baby boomers (using terms like ‘the pillow’), I suppose to eliminate them.

Within the last week there have been numerous articles discussing the increase of investor groups buying up single family homes for cash on the barrelhead, partly with the motivation to turn us into a nation of renters.
To the extent that that is an accurate picture of what’s happening and combined with “only those with skin in the game are allowed to vote” (if skin in the game means property ownership), a lower and lower % would be allowed to vote.
Maybe having skin in the game refers to something else. Maybe the definition is a moving target, and is simply dependent on who is using it and what they mean by it. Dunno.
I do agree that the phrase skin in the game probably has different meanings to different people. To me, it refers to those persons within Society who are, or have been, gainfully employed ( or have been married to someone who has done that) and have paid taxes into the system rather than those who have been recipients of public benefits for the vast majority of their adult lives. I would certainly not exclude renters from voting, as they are also affected by increased property taxes and sales tax, excetera. But anyone who is living in public housing, collecting welfare, food stamps, etc have a vested interest in voting for the candidates that will continue those programs.
Persons who are now retired and living on pensions or Social Security that they paid into many decades also have a lot of skin in the game, as they are often affected very negatively by tax and spend politicians going after the assets they have spent years building up, forcing many of them to have to give up family home or businesses

Has anyone actually heard or seen any real numbers of people that have died after getting the vaccine? Are they hiding that from us? Lots of stories of different problems people have, but I can’t find any real numbers on deaths.
I don’t think we will ever see real numbers. VAERS which is run by CDC is over 5000. There will be no attempt to find the true numbers by our government or Big Pharma. We probably will never prove the causality, when and if there is a wave of autoimmune or cancer deaths related to the vac.
I think those numbers need to be taken with a grain of salt. The first people to get the vaccines were those over 80 and those with multiple comorbidities.
Let’s not play the CDC game and confuse deaths with the vaccine, with deaths -from- the vaccine. I’m against forcing anyone to get the vaccine, but especially those that have no benefit to weigh against the risks (children and young people), but I think there was real benefit to those most at risk of severe consequences of covid. Well this is a tidbit of information that I never heard. So any couple (ie, man and woman), planning to start a family after taking a COVID shot will need to think again.
I saw this reported on a few blogs yesterday and the big question that everyone was asking is if they are saying that the phrase “women cannot bear children” means that there is something in the shots that makes women literally unable to conceive after receiving them or if the manufacturers are recommending that they not get pregnant for six months due to possible unknown side effects? A week ago today my brother’s 13-year-old son had his 2nd covid shot. Less than 3 days later he died.
The initial autopsy results (done Friday) were that his heart was enlarged and there was some fluid surrounding it. He had no known health problems. Was on no medications.
