From reporting that I’ve seen, the CoronaVirus Lockdown Crackdown is getting much worse in Canada. Everyone in the country is under house arrest and police checkpoints are being set up between provinces to dissuade travel. It’s Crazy!

They want to raise your taxes the smart way. By embedding tax in the things you buy, not by taking it directly from your paycheck. By raising the shelf price, they increase their sales tax take as well.

Dr. Howard Bauchner has been ousted as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of the American Medical Association due to a controversial podcast involving racism in medicine.
At issue was a JAMA podcast on Feb. 24 during which Dr. Edward Livingston, the host of the podcast and then-deputy editor at JAMA, said that “structural racism is an unfortunate term. Personally, I think taking racism out of the conversation will help. Many of us are offended by the concept that we are racist.”
That sparked a backlash, including a tweet from Dr. Aletha Maybank stating that the podcast and tweet were “a demonstration of structural & institutional racism. I am furious.”
In an email sent out Tuesday by the AMA, Bauchner said he was “profoundly disappointed in myself for the lapses that led to the publishing of the tweet and podcast. Although I did not write or even see the tweet, or create the podcast, as editor in chief, I am ultimately responsible for them.”
Bauchner’s resignation will be effective as of June 30, 2021. He first became the editor of JAMA in 2011.

Plus, another contributory factor was the shutdown of huge swaths of the restaurant buying industry and the the repackaging required to get it from commercial to consumer quantities.
We’ve been taking advantage of the latter and have been buying the restaurant size quantities of beef, hamburger and pork for cutlets. Cutting it down to portion size, and freezing a meal’s worth vacuum packed. And anything else we can find in the meat genre.
We’ve also got some excellent deals on boxed restaurant quality bacon. Oh My! We may never go back to store bought bacon packages.
And full boxed frozen chickens that were pre-seasoned and ready for in store or in restaurant roasting and sales. I read recently that SNAP doesn’t allow these kinds of purchases, so I would guess those sales were down, even in store. You might be able to afford things like that with an income coming in, but not when you are shut down for over a year with no end in sight.
Now that the truth is coming out about Faux-Chi, I expect there will be a reckoning by the American people, and any other country who relied on the words of these crackhead quacks in The Swamp. IF you want a “commission” this is the man who needs a full investigation.

WASHINGTON, DC – Two US Senators have sent a bipartisan letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland drawing attention to a brewing crisis in the food supply system, as reported by Brownfield Ag News The letter was authored by Republican Senator Mike Rounds of South Dakota and Democratic Senator Tina Smith of Minnesota.
Mike Rounds of South Dakota tells Brownfield they’ve asked the Attorney General (AG) for a review of anti-trust laws in the beef processing industry before, but this request is different. “Because we’re actually going through and showing the analysis of the split where the consumer is paying high prices and the producer is receiving a low price,” he says. “In the middle sets 80 to 85 percent control by four packers.”He says if the price imbalance in the cattle industry continues, it will impact producers and consumers. “If that cattle producer doesn’t survive, think about what the price of beef is going to be next year and the following year when it starts to become more and more a product of an imported market,” he says. “Think about what happens when we don’t have the national security protection of the domestic supply of live cattle available to us.”
Rounds says they’re working to get consumers and producers on the same page, and urging them to contact their US Senators and Representatives to sign onto the letter.
On Thursday, May 20 Brownfield reports, the ranch group R-CALF USA launched an urgent, nationwide drive to get 200 members of Congress, from both the US Senate and US House to add their names to the letter within the next 10 days.
