In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the JoeBama Administration and Presidency.
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.
Whenever the possibility presents, throw sand into the machinery…

Retired Magistrate here: I have hope because people all over the country are starting to fight back. Look at Arizona and the audit; the Arizona GOP has sued the Democrats and have an action pending that the courts have no authority to tell a legislature what they can or can’t do with regard to auditing an election. Kelly Ward and the Arizona GOP and legislature are not giving up.
Western states are declaring themselves sanctuary states with regard to 2nd Amendment rights. More people are refusing to take the first vaccine and those who have taken the first vaccine and experienced problems are refusing to take the second. More studies are coming out stating that masks are useless to prevent the transmission of covid-19 and they actually cause harm. People are starting to wake up. Will it be enough; I don’t know but at least it is going in the right direction.
Please look for the good news because it is out there. The best news is to look in the mirror; you can control what kind of day you have. You can choose to enjoy the Spring weather (depending on where you are), enjoy the fact that you are still alive, have enough food to eat, a roof over your head and can communicate with other like minded people on the Treehouse. In the alternative, you can look at everything that is wrong right now, get depressed and waste the day. I choose to make the most out of the day that I have.
Nice message. And when we live like that, each victory leads to the next. That’s why they (media, big tech, trolls etc) try to suppress good news and amplify anything to discourage us.
Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today.
Old Cherokee Indian proverb.
“Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
Matt 6:34. That was my verse of the day yesterday. It’s a good one to remember.
“Say goodbye to yesterday”
“Say so long, it’s already gone”
— Chris Whitley, Say Goodbye, Rocket House
You can enjoy the spring weather but also comprehend what’s going on even when it’s not good. Thinking everything will work out fine is a large part of how we got where we are.
“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Clinging to it!
That scripture is my daily prayer every morning —“help be be glad and rejoice in it, Lord”
I have that on a little prayer card. Sometimes I repeat it to myself during the day. Thank you for sharing it.
That is also my go to scripture. Just bought a t-shirt with it on the back at Walmart of all places. And it was made in Mexico, not China. Have a blessed day.
Yeah, paralytic fear, paralytic inaction OR head in the sand “someone will fix this for me” are definitely 3 roads to where we are.
But … here’s a strategy I love from Trump.
He says he literally fixes things all the time because he refuses to let himself get afraid because then you can’t think your best.
So he actually steps back to focus on the important things
Also, the depression trolls want us overwhelmed.
You CANNOT do anything in the state of being overwhelmed.
So go out, enjoy spring.
Then afterward do SOMETHING to contribute to fixing this mess.
I just looked at Jack Posobiec’s twiiter
It’s nonstop promotion of MyPillow and a list of all the companies who trashed Lindell
We can boycott, buycott and also support whatever we see WORKING
But clearing your head is very good and necessary if we are to win this. And connecting with your spirit and inner peace and joy
“thinking everything will be fine” had no impact on the outcome.
We are not a shooting, killing, ravaging type of people. We pushed civilly , legally, in every angle we could and saw people STEAL at every level (the election, the the courts, etc).
They DARED US to FIGHT! becauase they stepped on our faces, feet, and backs… They know its almost impossible to get us to fight, because we have become domesticated and dependent.
The GOAL IS – that we are learnign to get less dependent so we can fight LATER
I pray you’re right but we’ve had so few court verdicts go our way especially since President Trump got elected I’m skeptical! The Democrats have chosen to corrupt the Federal, State and Local Judiciary because they know what they want to do to the country, Republic and Constitution can’t get passed as legislation but can get accomplished by leftist activist Judges. I’m convinced Lawfare wants to get this audit into the Federal Judicial system where they have significant influence and Judicial partners aka obama Judges!
You were doing great until you got to “but”.
Thanks I always do great until I get to the skeptical “but”! I do believe/have faith at some point things will turn in our favor! There has to be a turning point or the country, Republic, Constitution are lost forever and I’m hoping and praying that the AZ audit is it “but” the Republicans don’t have anything similar to Lawfare to counter their illegal legal maneuverings/shenanigans outside of Sidney Powell, Rudy Guiliani and perhaps Lin Wood all who Republicans ignore.
My mom thought that way, positive outlook, even while building bombers that killed millions of civilians.
Those of us the government has bankrupted with this latest op of oppression have good days and bad days. I cut down dead trees for heat and eat a lot of rice. The cat gets decent food though. Not her fault this country has gone to sht.
God be with the good Treepers for yee shall inherit the earth.
There is of course a positive side when a country eventually does go to sht – you then find yourself in a place that nobody gives a sht about, and thus leaves you alone. That in itself can be quite refreshing, once you’ve got used to only having electricity as a “privilege”, and hot running water as a family contest.
Hot water is a 1 gallon antique coffee pot from the Depression era sitting on top of the wood fired fireplace insert. Fortunately, the power is still on. Telephone, television, internet have been condensed into one tiny sliver of what they once were, 33 bucks a month prepaid. The clothes drier was just fed, it’s a rope slung between two posts on the patio and the clothes dry in the sun.
Fortunately, I came from Depression era parents who survived the war and lived off the land during some pretty tough times. I still have an oil wall lamp in the kitchen to remind of that and to provide light when the power is off. I found it also runs on diesel out of the truck too. I think people need to really suffer to understand the true value of freedom. Some of us will not survive. That’s how it goes.
I like your name, Oldspeak. Some days feel old, some feel young. It comes and goes. The sun is out and the aches and pains aren’t too bad so just another day on the farm I guess.
Such a good message. As the CNN guy revealed in Veritas video, “fear sells”. They want to control or lives AND our thoughts. Don’t let them. Remember we are way smarter than them!
Great viewpoint. We can do our part by ACTING on information.
Love the positive outlook!
Exactemundo.
These people need to be reminded that what they are doing(such as face diapers)Will mean that they can be sued for what they are doing. Also the rubbish that they teach can be held against them in the near future.
“Will it be enough; I don’t know but at least it is going in the right direction”.
This is the key and it is where “patience” comes in to play. It is a steady one by one.
I don’t mean to rain on the parade, but just factually, the AZ audit is being brought to a new (dimocrat) judge to stop the audit, he’s going to interpret & make a ruling. The legislature writes the laws, but it’s the judge who DOES have the authority to stop them. He has the final say unless they appeal it to a higher court, which would be the 9th circuit in San Francisco. Stay positive of course, Kelli Ward and many patriots here determined to see this through.
I’m not linking to fake noise, but it gives me so much joy that I didn’t know or care about the Oscars and everyone else felt the same.
Funny thing is if you DuckDuck Go Oscar ratings right this moment all that comes up are Leftwing news warning everyone that Oscar ratings were expected to be at a historic low and their “explanations.” Of course I’m not clicking to see that.
Evidently all award shows are plummeting in ratings.
Ummm… it’s so mysterious as to why. A bunch of priveleged people complaining about and crapping on the rest of us, and lobbying for their own expansion of importance while cry-bullying. Nothing escapist, grand, celebratory and fun about that.
I have a post about one interesting thing though.
I wouldn’t watch the Oscars if they changed the name to “Felix”.
THE ODD COUPLE: “Assume”
My parents used to say “don’t pat yourself on your back you might break your arm”. Same goes for these Hollywoodites. Your ‘works’ should be able to stand on their own. If not your doing it wrong.
Falana, I saw a news teaser last night that the beautiful people’s swag bag at the Oscars was worth over $200k. They’re such hypocrites.
Jordan Peterson’s Critique of the Communist Manifesto
“…to read something, you don’t just follow the words and follow the meaning, but you take apart the sentences and you ask yourself at this level of phrase and at the level of sentence and at the level of paragraph, “Is this true? Are there counter arguments that can be put forward that are credible? Is this solid thinking?” and I have to tell you and I’m not trying to be flippant here that I have rarely read a tract… that made as many errors per sentence, conceptual errors per sentence as the Communist Manifesto.”
Gov. Wm. Bradford beat the good professor to it in 1623:
“The experience that was had in this common course and condition, tried sundry years and that amongst godly and sober men, may well evince the vanity of that conceit of Plato’s and other ancients applauded by some of later times; that the taking away of property and bringing in community into a commonwealth would make them happy and flourishing; as if they were wiser than God. For this community (so far as it was) was found to breed much confusion and discontent and retard much employment that would have been to their benefit and comfort. For the young men, that were most able and fit for labour and service, did repine that they should spend their time and strength to work for other men’s wives and children without any recompense. The strong, or man of parts, had no more in division of victuals and clothes than he that was weak and not able to do a quarter the other could; this was thought injustice. The aged and graver men to be ranked and equalized in labours and victuals, clothes, etc., with the meaner and younger sort, thought it some indignity and disrespect unto them. And for men’s wives to be commanded to do service for other men, as dressing their meat, washing their clothes, etc., they deemed it a kind of slavery, neither could many husbands well brook it. Upon the point all being to have alike, and all to do alike, they thought themselves in the like condition, and one as good as another; and so, if it did not cut off those relations that God hath set amongst men, yet it did at least much diminish and take off the mutual respects that should be preserved amongst them. And would have been worse if they had been men of another condition. Let none object this is men’s corruption, and nothing to the course itself. I answer, seeing all men have this corruption in them, God in His wisdom saw another course fitter for them. …
So they began to think how they might raise as much corn as they could, and obtain a better crop than they had done, that they might not still thus languish in misery. At length, after much debate of things, the Governor (with the advice of the chiefest amongst them) gave way that they should set corn every man for his own particular, and in that regard trust to themselves; in all other things to go on in the general way as before. And so assigned to every family a parcel of land, according to the proportion of their number, for that end, only for present use (but made no division for inheritance) and ranged all boys and youth under some family. This had very good success, for it made all hands very industrious, so as much more corn was planted than otherwise would have been by any means the Governor or any other could use, and saved him a great deal of trouble, and gave far better content. The women now went willingly into the field, and took their little ones with them to set corn; which before would allege weakness and inability; whom to have compelled would have been thought great tyranny and oppression.“–Of Property (from Plymouth Plantation)
He also interviewed Mike Lee. Lee is super smart regarding the Constitution (and other Founding Documents) but too slick in my opinion. I don’t buy his Uniparty talk. Also he tends to be Globalist and not America First (not discussed here). By the way this talk centers mostly around the Constitution.
The Good News: Mike Lee knows his Founders when he sees them!
The Bad News: He mostly sees them on dollar bill$.
And he worries more about getting jobs for people from other countries than for citizens of his own country.
Mike Lee is supported by google. Enough said.
He’s like Miss Lindsey”All hat and no cattle”
I wish I could read all of that text.
Sorry bout the bold. If you click the link at the bottom, you can read at the source.
The bold doesn’t bother as much as several lines of text with no break.
As a former Lang. Arts teacher I give everyone permission to throw out the rules about paragraphs. It’s ok to make a new paragraph every 2nd or 3rd sentence.
That’s a very helpful practice on a blog, much easier to read and absorb, otherwise one naturally scrolls past what could be extremely worthwhile, such as the post in question.
Jordan Peterson’s point about the absurdity of the hyper-productivity of workers under the dictatorship of the proletariat is right on point. When I read that part of the Communist Manifesto, I had to laugh out loud.
We saw that productivity in action in 1970 ies . Wait staff grumpy, slow and generally unaware of the meaning of service (until they were slipped a pair of pantyhose) Bribery and black market were rampant. Shelves in Gump were empty. It was depressing and we felt sorry for the population.
They were afraid, however, of freedom. They no longer were used to making choices and found it overwhelming.
Marx would regard this arrangement as Utopian Socialism. His own new and improved variant he referred to as Scientific Socialism.
Unfortunately for Marx, his Labor Theory of Value which served as the basis for Scientific Socialism was discredited by Karl Menger’s contribution to economics—marginal analysis.
Menger argued that economic valuation is subjective, differing for each individual. Marx argued that value derives from labor inputs.
However, no one bids on an economic good based on how much effort was involved in its production, rather they prefer to pay more for those goods that satisfy them more.
Marx is bunk. You do not need to parse Das Kapital looking for the incoherence of Scientific Socialism. The labor theory of value was discredited before it was ever published.
Western Intellectuals: Communism’s Cheerleaders | Politically Incorrect Guide to Communism
“Why is it immoral for you to desire, but moral for others to do so? Why is it immoral to produce a value and keep it, but moral to give it away? And if it is not moral for you to keep a value, why is it moral for others to accept it? If you are selfless and virtuous when you give it, are they not selfish and vicious when they take it?”
– Ayn Rand
AZ audit is going along with only legal challenges from Democrats. No call outs from Obama to antifa or #BLM to storm the center. It appears they’re not too worried.
Whatever fixes the Communist government did to the election are long since in. They won’t waste mercs and bad optics on a CyberNinja’s audit in one county in Arizona. They’re entrenched now so forget about lawful means of extracting them. However, good contract for the auditors. Glad someone is making money, this whole operation seems to have been quite the cash cow for certain humans.
nice try RC
.
Yeah. Seems that ‘n’ should be a ‘m’ — and it is not allowed to correct the spelling . . .
Just don’t cry when they have proof of fraud.
Baloney, you can’t hide fake ballots, you can’t hide illegal ballots of other types, and you cannot hide CCP manipulations of the machines.
It doesn’t matter. Trump was right, they can kill people in plain sight and nothing happens. Ballots? OK, I promise I won’t do a I told you so when it’s all over. 20 days is the ETA and we’re what, day 4? We’ll know soon enough.
But, you can shred fake/illegal ballots… you can wipe the drive and reload software on the machines…
And, the commies have had plenty of time to do it since Nov 03, 2020.
Pulitzer said he can read shredded ballots. The video is in the comments here thats where I heard that.
Someone watched the Oscars so we don’t have to. It sounds like Tyler Perry (the Madea movie guy) was the only bright spot. He did a speech about refusing to hate anyone, including police officers as he got his humanitarian award.
As a woman of color watching a prominent man of color what was absent for me was he didn’t say he refused to hate white people. Or Christians. Or the group that Hollyweird, media, big tech, academia and even the law are targeting and singling out, trying to destroy “straight white men.”
It’s a glaring absence. It stands out.
But can I say that Tyler Perry originally trained as a preacher and lately has done some really, really inspiring guest speeches on request at these mega-churches lately. You can watch them online, see everyone without masks talking about how to have a successful life with God at the center. How to overcome problems, forgive, and reach your goals and dreams in your life.
WATCH: ‘I refuse to hate someone because they are a police officer’: Tyler Perry wins Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the Oscars | The Post Millennial
I am starting to warm up to Tyler Perry. Nobody says or does 100% what you want, that’s our own job, but I feel he’s making contributions in his life.
Actually, Perry did include white people in his list of who he refuses to hate: “I refuse to hate someone because they are Mexican or because they are black or white or LBGTQ [sic]. I refuse to hate someone because they are a police officer. I refuse to hate someone because they are Asian,” he said.
https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2021/04/25/oscars-2021-tyler-perry-urges-people-to-meet-me-in-the-middle-and-refuse-hate/
Police officer is a race now? Again this statement about refusing to hate things that shouldn’t be hated should be unimpressive. The fact that it is a highlight for the Oscars is reinforcement that no one should watch it. Or support Hollywood.
Awesome! Thanks so much. Like the actual Jesus or MLK, not the latest divide and conquer games.
In that case, let me link to Tyler Perry sharing some thoughts about how to follow your dreams for everyone to benefit. He has so many other talks and speeches like this so just go to Youtube and search if you’d prefer another. It’s really uplifting and I believe I will start to support him now.
I cannot believe he stood up in front of the Hollyweird haters and started telling them he’s not going to hate. Already he’s been getting on my radar for these uplifting talks outlining HOW to be successful and get back on track that he’s been doing for the faithful that are good for anybody.
This is really, really awesome. I support any bright spot we can find. It’s very few people: Trump, Gaetz, Marjorie, De Santis, some of the churches, now Tyler Perry.
Call him the anti Oprah.
While she supports satanic New Age cults, racism, division and hate, Perry is literally going the opposite direction and being very, very awesome.
“The anti oprah”. Not THAT is a great descriptive of someone who actually contributes to the world.
@linderella
Correct. ABC posted Perry’s full speech online.
America really needed that speech.
It’s a sign of severe moral deterioration that saying something so fundamental turns out is radical at the Oscars. Refusing to hate people is a radical statement, sad.
The Good Lord may be working inside him. He just needs to listen.
I am also imperfect in this world. I say amen if the Lord is leading him.
Very nice comment you wrote. You see the good in people. I prefer to see the good also..
Some people in this country are fully under the control of the dark forces of evil. We can not help them, and one day they will be judged.
I checked out his youtube videos. He is an exceptional man.
Agree. I worked for a major entertainment infrastructure company. Back in the late 90’s early 2000’s, kept seeing this “play by Tyler Perry” come across my desk. Had no clue. But I also noted they kept selling out. Did a little research and liked his ideas and concept….even if I’m not his main target audience. Finally, in like ’05, I made it out to a touring production to see if his concept matched my expectation. It did. And was another 3 day sellout.
The guy does so much geared to his community, his target audience, his local area and humanity in general. He’s a great example for entrepreneurship. I think he should be lauded by virtually everyone. (Lefties won’t but that’s another story.)
he has a very hard time (putting it nicely) paying his post production bills in the Atlanta area. i have tried to instill in my children the understanding that people can and will say ‘anything’. it’s what they do that shows who they are.
@David
I agree that Perry should be lauded. He went from being a homeless guy living in his car to the head of a $1 billion multimedia empire outside the Hollywood system.
I think Conservatives tend to dismiss Perry because he’s a Democrat. But they never consider that praising Perry for his positive efforts could convince him to give the GOP a fair shot.
Just my two cents.
I agree, fred2w. Your point is well taken, especially when you look at the recent political transformation of Vernon Jones…
CBN and The 700 Club have done a number of stories about Tyler Perry over the years — you can find them online. His faith as a Christian has helped him overcome many life obstacles, not only to become a success and a rare light in Hollywood — but also paying it forward. Here’s one of those stories:
https://www1.cbn.com/movies/the-unlikely-success-of-tyler-perry
Just a quick lol…
“Don’t Fear Antifa”
They’ve yet to get the full Russian Spetsnaz treatment so I guess God is merciful in that way. No guarantees though.
Thank you for the tear inducing laugh this morning!

The Arizona Senate in my opinion is throwing buckets of sand in the gears of communists machinery.
They filed a suit in the Arizona Supreme court ,
Basically telling the courts to stay out of the Legislative Duties under the Constitution.
The damn courts did not want to get involved before on the fraud.
They need to get the hell out of it now.
I saw that the recusal was due to a GOP Senate lawyer as opposed to a lawfare lawyer. Maybe the GOP played a little bit of it’s own lawfare. I don’t agree with those tactics, but maybe it bought them time to file another action. The whole concept of fighting an audit that’s trying to be done transparently is preposterous .
I agree completely. I too thought the judge may have stalled the Democrats just a little by recusing.
He may have stalled for a little more time so the Supreme Court of Arizona can render their decision.
Under the Constitution the Judicial has no authority over the legislature in ensuring a honest election.. The legislature has a duty to investigate any fraud charges of the election.
If they intervene the Arizona Senate needs to tell them plainly they have no standing and will be ignored.
Exactly. They have no standing
This is the correct posture.
The Judiciary does NOT rule Arizona. They are merely a co-equal branch.
The legislature should ignore the courts, while allowing the legal sideshow to play itself up to the AZ Supremes.
Create an AZ Constitutional crisis if need be. Runaway judicial powers have to be checked. Petty tyrants in robes too often.
So true
Ask the Quack? Okay.
“Why Have We Had 15 Months To Stop the Spread of Reporters Asking About Doc Fauci’s Wuhan Lab, His Gain-of-Function Mad Science and His Billion-Dollar Patents?”
Not One Such Question From an Allegedly Free Press Going on Two Years Now!
Incredulous that the anti wall st crowd, the hordes of “Consumer rights” groups (and there are some real naggers), and even, God forbid our own “Government watchdogs” haven’t even uttered a peep about what is obvious, in blazing neon, that there is a supernova conflict of interest going on with our “chief” medical guy. Hard to take those groups seriously again isn’t it?
Very unfair. They DID ask him who he’d want to play him in the hero drama about his life to which he said “Brad Pitt.” And that leather face hasbeen actually agreed to play an 80 year old garden gnome, no makeup necessary, just for his additional 15 min of fame.
So I think we can see here that Fauci is your duly appointed God, peasant, and as infallible as that premier scientst, C student in a single environmental class and therefore the obvious choice to be Nobel laureate, Al Bore.
I hope the greedy gut quack goes broke completely.
The Louisiana special election for a House seat went to a DEM yesterday: but he ran against a DEM!
Again, Republicans surrender and do not even try to get their message out.
The excuse: a “heavily Democrat/Afro-American district.”
One analysis said that at least the DEM endorsed by the lunatic Occasional-Cortex was defeated.
They already had a runoff before this and only 2 democrats were able to run. Please search it.
45 years ago today this happened. Back when pro sports and pro athletes loved America.
And at least half of the crowd would cheer the flag burners.
If you had watched it ,the crowd stood up and cheered as the player scooping up the flag and took it to safety.
I remember this quite well.
My guess are those trying to burn the flag were in obama’s administration and probably are now in ChiCom Joe’s!
Has Biden shutdown air travel between US and India?
The EU has shut down travel for any Americans who do not have a record of taking a covid “vaccine”. If you haven’t already been don’t worry, Europe is a dump with awful food. Just go to Epcot for the same experience.
Spend your money here. We need it.
This is why they want to stop it.
Ugh. Didn’t post for me. Try again.

LAUSD wants parents to sign a consent for to allow their children to be tested on campus without parents present. My kids are in elementary school and they want permission to do this. I will never sign that consent- I can’t even believe the school is trying to pull this crap.
.
What is LAUSD? Tested for what? Do you have a link?
Please make it easy for people to help.
Los Angeles Unified School District wants to test elementary school kids for covid on campus without parents present. Asked parents to sign a consent to allow this. I think it’s outrageous- I talked to 2 parents today who were apprehensive at first but buckled because of the convenience. I don’t have a link- it’s just a letter to the parents from the district.
I’ll try to attach the consent form tho-
https://connectdocs.blackboard.com/broadcasts/Docs/fb957da47ce483ed2b281fea619bdd75/8c6d0917-debf-4009-89d1-d6a979ed7001.pdf?ticket=t_qKojKxSb&xythos-download=true
Consent to do something without your consent…what kind of ridiculousness is this. What other things can they add to put under an umbrella document of consensual non-consent.
Kudos to you for not signing.
Exactly! This opens the door for all kinds of stuff in my view. I don’t even think the teachers are chaperoning the testing of their own students! It’s crazy to me ?
You know the long yellow paper that has all the “rules” by the Board of Education that must be signed every year? It contains the rule that your child, 12 years and up, may be released from school for confidential medical appointments without parental knowledge or consent.
I worked 20 years in gyn in California and the angriest people we had were moms when we told them we had to get permission from their pre teen and teen daughters to be with them in exam rooms or to speak with the doctor.
I haven’t received anything like that, yet. Maybe my kids are too young. We did get a rules booklet at the beginning of school but we didn’t have to sign that we received it or any pages in it. I’ll keep my eyes peeled in the future ?
Don’t trust the teachers to chaperone a test. Dig around on the internet and find out what is in/on those testing swabs and why everyone who should know better is trying so hard to shove something into or onto children.
Something about this bothered me, what kind of illogic asks for a consent form to do something you haven’t given your consent.
Coming back and rereading your original post, I see my error, the form was consent while you were not present. For some reason I saw consent in my mind in both places.
I apologize to you for misreading, but still, good on you for not consenting.
To begin with, it is wrong wrong wrong to test people who are not showing symptoms. That was the main point I got out of watching the video someone posted yesterday of the various officials from Ireland discussing the pandemic.
Hi Tiff. I’m in SFV. I’m fortunate enough to be in a position to homeschool, but it hasn’t been easy. If you’re open to it, there has to be something a group of us parents can do to make a small co-op work.
My daughter is in 5th grade so she’s almost out of elementary. This last year seeing her mostly alone breaks my heart, but I’m not sending her back.
If you are in a position to homeschool but don’t know how to go about it, I can help you with process. I use Christian Cornerstone School as my satellite. All the fees are around $400 a year. They maintain records and keep me legit, but I chose ALL the curriculum. I feel for and your family and will keep you in my prayers.
Thanks for the info. I have thought about homeschooling and the Treepers on the religious open thread gave me many links to help get started as well. My husband is not ready to do homeschool- but he won’t be allowing the school to play Dr with our kids either. Thanks for the prayers and I will pray for you and your 5th grader too
We homeschooled our three children through high school and have never regretted it. Our children are adults now and have each found satisfying and meaningful careers for themselves. We occasionally wondered if we were making the right decision (especially when each of them begged during high school years to go to school with their friends) and we made some financial sacrifices, but we also discovered that it is not as difficult or as time consuming as most people think it is.
A primary deciding factor for me was looking up the education requirements which are listed in the state’s (California) education codes. It was such a shock to see how many MINUTES per day/week are required by the state — that is when you realize how much time is wasted. We only purchased a full curriculum for the first year we homeschooled our oldest child. After that we used much better math textbooks and followed suggestions from other homeschoolers and the umbrella school we used to meet the state requirements.
Also homeschooling is not classroom schooling even if you are using a schedule. I am not a teacher; I have no idea how to teach children in a classroom or on Zoom or the kids next door. I am a mother who facilitated her children’s schooling by teaching them HOW to learn.
One other important point to think about is this: no one knows your child as well as you do. There is no teacher, doctor, specialist, family member, friend, or neighbor who knows, loves, and wants the best for your child more than you do. Just as you have probably done up to this point, you will get advice and assistance for any homeschooling situation you encounter and you will use your own knowledge for the rest. Trust yourself.
Tests don’t work and kids don’t get CV.
But the labs will cooperate with the teachers’ unions, ramp up the test cycles, declare lots of infected kids, schools can close and teachers are happy.
There is only one reason why the officials want to do MORE testing. More tests always mean more cases when THEY control the test results.
GatewayPundit – Update – previously we reported based on sources that the new attorney that caused Judge Coury to recuse himself was hired by the Democrats, overnight we received new information that the attorney causing the recusal was hired by the auditors.
There must be more to this story. How can the auditors be that dumb? Is there a mole on the inside that would deliberately do something like this to stop the audit?
Or, they played their own lawfare causing a delay or they never thought it’d cause a recusal. One thing we learned is these judges don’t want to touch these pure political issues with a 10-ft pole.

Is all I got to say (once you realize these fake presidential runs are about funneling money you catch on to the scheme real quick)
Might be her way of bowing out of house race if she is way down in polls.
Liz Cheney would be the Jeb Bush of the 2024 election.
First one to fall off the stage.
The stage would tilt and tip over – like Guam.
Oh damn forget the must not laugh–is Cheney running as a Democrat, she is already the joke of most citizens in her state and non-RINOs in her party.
Cheney is the poster girl for today’s Nomad Republican politician. Always on the move, looking for the next gig, no roots anywhere.
She’s lived in DC area for 30 plus years. Here ”resident” address in Wyoming is probably a vacant lot.
She’ll lose in 2022 and join some lobbying firm, grift, raise money for herself.
She’s going to eat into Nikki Haley’s support and donors!
Do it liz!!! Do it!!
Leaked Audio Of Iran’s Foreign Minister: Democrat John Kerry Told Us Israel Behind 200+ Attacks | The Daily Wire
The AP report on this story completely censored Kerry’s betrayal of Israel, but did say this:
“In the interview, Zarif describes Russia as wanting to stop the nuclear deal, something apparently so sensitive that he warns the interviewer: “You definitely can never release this part.” Russia had a frosty relationship with then-President Barack Obama, whose administration secured the deal with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. Russia and Iran also at times have strained relations, despite being battlefield allies in Syria.”
…making Putin more pro-American than the fourth Obama/Biden Regime. Not that that would be hard.
You often see people say Obama was “duped”. That should stop. When Obama negotiates with Iran, there is only one party at the table. Any differences are just a headfake. They’re on the other side.

The Texas House has passed HB 1927, NRA-backed permitless carry legislation to allow law-abiding Texans to carry handguns for self-defense without a state-issued License To Carry (LTC). Now, it’s up to the Texas Senate. It’s time for Texas to join the 20 other states that have legalized this personal protection option!
Please contact your State Senator and also contact Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and ask them to help pass HB 1927, permitless carry legislation.
NRA-ILA
https://senate.texas.gov/members.php
I live in TX and have a carry license, and frankly I like the requirement to demonstrate minimal competence with a handgun and minimal knowledge of the law to get a license to carry. Basically you only have to be able to show you can hit a target at nearly pointblank range without negligent discharges.
If you can’t pass that, I prefer not to have you carry.
Texas is a shall issue state, so it’s not like they are going to deny you unless you are legally disallowed from carrying.
I agree with part of your comment and I hope you do not take offense of my comment.
Any requirement for a license has already violated the 2nd amendment. Slippery slope already slipped. Common sense requirements are a stepping stone for more and more violations of our God Given Rights.
I wonder if all of the criminals who carry firearms are concerned with demonstrating minimal competence with a handgun? Only law abiding citizens are forced to jump through hoops to be able to carry a handgun.
Criminals, not so much. It sounds like you think that normal, law abiding citizens will just start shooting up a place if given the opportunity to carry without a license. Why are criminals excused from LTC laws but law abiding citizens are not?
Just drove by army setting up in large parking area in Hamilton Ontario.

What’s going on in Canada?
Each day there seems more draconian stories about individuals, groups, being forced to comply with huge restrictions on movement.
I thought California was bad restricting people from traveling more than 120 miles from their home, but there was a recent video of a young boy, teenager, being wrestled to the ground for being outside his house or something, and citizens returning to Canada from the US being forced to quarantine, at their personal expense, in a nearby airport hotel for 14 days whether or not they test positive.
Are these just one-offs, exceptions to the current rules or are these restrictions continuing to evolve into tighter limitations?
Craziness. Country is just full of sheep. I think the official answer for this is field hospital but I don’t trust our Trudeau at all.
He is 100% evil globalist. Cherished by the boomer generation because nostalgic throw back to his charismatic father Pierre. You can’t imagine how popular this guy is with the women because of his looks.
Sickens me.
DD
Me too…as a rule Canadian women 40 to 75 are among the most naive and entitled species on the planet.
I know a 45 year old neighbour or so, that has just listed their home for sale at $2,400,000. They just bought “ up” into a $3,150,000 house.
The individual is already moaning that $40,000 needs to be spent to upgrade the carpet to H/W.
?
I can tell you what is going on in Canada: Canada has already been fully invaded by, and is a complete tribute state and possession of China.
Don’t take my word for it, plenty of Treehouse articles from the past and tons of news sources where you can see how China economically took over Canada. They are also migrating there in record numbers, colonialists.
Agreed.
DD
Yep, I watch it daily.
However many of the Chinese I know personally are terrific members of the community.
Several are well “heeled neighbours “
I would much rather have their influence than the trash that’s coming across your Southern Border. Or the “ refugees “ from sewers we get.
There are numerous “ Chinese” in Canada. Taiwanese, H.K., Mainland with different groups within the Mainlanders, and of course the Communists.
Many despise the Communist Party of China and regularly protest the regime.
Cheers, and God bless PDJT
What on Earth?

Forgive the plug, but it is presidential politics-related (and a freebie). My mashups of Shakespeare and current events morphed into a larger project – recasting Hamlet as the 2020 election. (Don’t worry, it’s a heavily abridged version.) I turned the project into an e-book, which I’m giving away today. It’s ‘Hamlet’s 2020 Vision: a recasting of Hamlet as the tragedy of the 2020 election.’
It’s a hoot, in my opinion. It turns out that when you combine these two tragedies, you get quite a bit of comedy.
And the parallels! The Biden cabal as the usurping King Claudius, President Trump as the Ghost (still haunting the liberals, after all), Polonius the spymaster as the tech oligarchs, and Hamlet as All of Us, since we, like Hamlet, are trying to avenge the theft of a nation’s entire government in a way that reveals the illegitimacy of the usurping regime and restores the nation to legitimate rule. The book is here: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=hamlet%27s+2020+vision&i=stripbooks&ref=nb_sb_noss

Oscar ratings down 58%
I hope it gets a lot worse.
Is that bad of me to wish that they fail? Made me feel good to wish it. LOL
Probably will get worse since their film market is China now. They aren’t making any money here.
Never watch the Oscars! The movies being produced are awful lately. The movie that won was about a women who loses everything and is living in a van travelling across America. How depressing!
Actually I did not realize they were happening. With all movie houses closed I can’t figure out what movies.
Was it a scooby van?
I wouldn’t mind getting an RV and seeing America. The issue is that we know we are being propogandized to accept the “great reset” where we will “own nothing, and be happy.”
We know that stuff can’t make us happy, but living under authoritarian collectivist tyranny where no one is allowed to own anything kills the spirit.
Yes….the director was from Beijing China. How appropriate.
Sounds like the documentary they SHOULD have made documenting the real life homelessness brought on by their draconian Covid responses in many town and cities across the globe. – Except in the real life version, most still aren’t allowed to travel “on the road”. The movie had it easy.
I generaly avoid post Obama/2009 movies.
My guess is the actors don’t care they got their millions, gated estates, jet planes so there will be change in their leftist ” wokeness”! I didn’t watch the Oscars nor do I go to the movie theaters any more!
Who are the idiotic 9.8m? Family?
Children? Movies are used as babysitters.
HEY WSB! Good to see you commenting again!
That is 9,799,999.99999999 too many.
The last broadcast had the lowest ratings ever, and it’s down 58% from that. Ouch.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer group of people.
China funds HW productions.
So when you hear any actor, producer, whatever spewing the woke, SJW, racism, anti-Trump and anti-police standard mantra, they have to show their devotion to get work. Or in the case of the Oscars, publically express their appreciation of their benefactors who paid them.

Check out the back ground on the new judge assigned to the AZ vote audit after the the assigned judge recused himself when the dems hired an attorney that used to work for him.
Following his graduation, Judge Martin clerked for Justice James Moeller on the Arizona Supreme Court. In 1992 Judge Martin joined Brown & Bain ***(NOW PERKINS COIE)*** as an associate.
But of course.
He must recuse then, that was simple. Next.
The fix is in. As per usual.
Not if the Senate ignores the Judiciary.
They are co-equal branches, and this audit function is expressly delegated to the Legislature.
Basic Separation of Powers. The Courts can pound their Orders on the sand.
Arizona’s laws are typical of those of every state. Anyone with a credible challenge and the ability to post bond (forfeit if they lose, to pay expenses) can challenge an election. The State Government most certainly can. Original election materials must be provided for audit and inspection. Election fraud is a Felony crime.
Which is exactly the way it’s supposed to work, and why. The question is, do we have any confidence that it *will* work that way? Asking honestly, not to be a downer, the fact that we’ve actually gotten to an audit step isn’t something I expected we would see either.
The fact there has no one held accountable for anything probably has more to do with wavering confidence than anything. We have witnessed certain people go to jail for doing the same thing others doing the samething do not go to jail. Stuff as that is unnerving.
The justice system is corrupted and broken. Time to start treating it that way.
When the Senate ignores the corrupt Judge’s Order, what’s the latter going to do? Issue another Order?
The AG and Senate can surround the facility with AZ Rangers. Time to draw the physical battle lines.
Exactly. It is time for the elite to experience real pushback.
The court has no business in this. The Constitution clearly states that the Legislature is responsible for the election in the state.
It does not say anywhere the court can overturn a elected body of government for doing their duty of ensuring elections are not stolen.
The Legislature needs to push back so hard, the judges think they are in New Mexico.
Send the Sergeant of Arms and arrest any judge for impeding their constitutional duty. I mean it. They need an immediate refresher training on Constitution and the Will of the People.
Yep, hearing was initially set to occur in 10 days when Ninja’s might have been done, dems now have it changed to tomorrow. All part of a plan. Why put a million dollar bond down when you can buy a judge.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/04/maricopa-madness-new-judge-case-appointed-former-democrat-governor-janet-napolitano-opinions-now-vary-hearing-might-take-place-case/
Most certainly looks like it…
Thought this article by Chuck Norris might be a good reminder of the challenges facing our families.
Progressives have long been attacking the family unit as an outdated and disfunctional conservative construct. More recently, it has been labeled as yet another example of white culture foisted on POC.
PDJT, in making America strong, also strengthened and supported the family.
Today’s families, and in far too many cases single moms, are confronted by:
economic challenge
child care concerns with children not in school full time
fights to get their children back to a normal life and in person schooling
once back in school, children confronted by white guilt and black victimization, as well as teachers encouraging gender exploration
requirements for vaccination for school and work, particularly effecting pregnant or planning to be pregnant young women who fear long term fertility issues and fetal damage
While we are rightly caught up in election integrity and issues too numerous to name, it all boils down to defending the rights of American families to determine their futures and values.
I read every day at CTH how people are struggling to defend their way of life.
Bless you all. On days I struggle your strength prevails.

I’m surprised MSNBC could find enough people in Elizabeth City to stir up chaos.
I’m sure some were bussed in, Crump is quite the fundraiser and can afford the rent a mobs.
For the first time since the scam election I am hopeful. On recent trips to several big box stores in town numerous people were shopping without masks! It was so nice to see so many smiling faces at long last. I think real Americans have finally had enough of this sham government and have decided to rebel. Better late than never, I pray this trend continues.
Heh, watch the smile fade as the checker scans the price on that 2×4 or sheet of plywood, then the trusty ransom machine calculates the sales tax. I just gotta laugh at the absurdity of it all, being an industry business owner for decades. Masterful operation. To think, before last year I couldn’t give away US made steel and aluminum, customers would literally pass the gifts right by, now it’s currency. Crazy times.
This IS happening more and more. I’ve been maskless the whole time, but until recently I didn’t see many others. It’s so nice to see people who have had enough.
From Arizona Audit Live Feeds:
WHY ARE THEY USING UV LIGHTS IN THE AZ AUDIT, AND WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?
In a nutshell, CodeMonkeyZ and Bobby Piton Explain:
The UV lights are being used to detect oil from fingerprints. If there are no finger prints on the ballots, then the likelihood of ballots being marked through a non-human process is higher.

On a mixed bag note, thumbs up because I like space, meh because it’s another spy satellite, our west coast gets a relatively rare treat in a half hour or so when the Delta 4 is scheduled to lift off from Vandenberg. Here’s to a timely and uneventful launch and kudos to the aerospace industry for keeping things moving with all the obstacles out there right now.
Successful launch and a treat was seeing a resident of my former locale commemorated on the side of the payload fairing, the Corsair in the mission graphic lends a clue. There was a TV show about him and his squadron in the 70’s.
Dunes2021: Cool, thanks for this. Had I known about the launch, I could have watched from my balcony in Los Angeles, facing westward, not far from the coast. Some years ago, I saw a launch at dusk from Vandenburg. There was a long, unearthly looking white streak across the sky, as the rocket headed downrange.
Loved that show as a kid!
Ouch! Tacitae Libertatis Custodemque makes no sense, if you want it to translate as “Silent Guardians of Freedom.”
What their slogan means in Latin is: “And the guardian of silent freedom”…except “Custodem” should be either “Custos” (Singular) or (Plural) Custodes.”
What they want is:
Taciti Libertatis Custodes or Custodes Taciti Libertatis (The words can be spun around in any order and still keep the same meaning.)
Ausonius, your knows of Latin is inspiring. Your translation is 100% correct.
Knowledge. Good grief, spell check.

Race, race, race, 24/7 starting in kindergarten and ending in gas ovens for white people:
The Racial Literacy Curriculum begins in kindergarten with 5- and 6-year-olds using Pantone Color Charts to match their skin tone so that they might start to see themselves and one another by skin color. “Recognizing and categorizing color is a foundational skill for early grades, and will be used as a platform for upcoming lessons that discuss skin color.”
This curriculum includes a unique view of nearly every educational discipline, such as in sixth grade history where children discover that the essence of Nazism was not the destruction of European Jewry but the rise of “whiteness.” Pollyanna’s main coverage of the Jewish experience is reduced to an odd and passing reference to the “Eastern European Hebrew” race.
By eighth grade, the curriculum’s goal is to create “social justice” action plans that address how “systemic racism provided social, economic, political, and legal advantages to White Americans.” Students devise plans and launch campaigns that seek to overturn white privilege in the “community or city of the student body, or may reach broader, such as to the national level and beyond.”

THY NAME IS HYPOCRITE!
It had brought a last-minute court action with Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Gallardo — the board’s only Democrat — claiming the audit process violated state election laws.
“On Friday, the Judge affirmed our claims that the @AZSenateGOP and Cyber Ninjas do not have policies and procedures in place to protect the sanctity of the ballots,” Gallardo said on Twitter Sunday.
He also argued that Arizona Republicans and Cyber Ninjas have not “allowed media or public to view their sham audit and now they want to keep the media and public from viewing the court proceedings. What are the Senate GOP and Cyber Ninja trying to hide?”
Gallardo last week said on Twitter that he sued to stop the audit to “protect the sanctity of the ballots and more importantly to preserve voters’ privacy from a sham audit that has been corrupted by agitators and conspiracy theorists.
OK just asking…Is the watermark thing a real thing or not.
I will have to say I am confused on this issue.
TY in advance for anyone that is able to clear it up for me.
I agree. I’ve read several places there are no “watermarks” on ballots. Someone posted here the ultra-violet light was to check for finger prints on the ballots…no finger prints …not valid. I sure wish someone could clarify…
That kind of analysis can detect many things, including watermarks if present, I can’t speak to how many states require such, but doubtless the technique can generate evidence and I surely hope it is used to good effect.
I think OAN is getting out over their skis a bit here.
This sounds too much like the “anonymous sources say” garbage we get from MSM. No one in an official capacity is sharing anything on the record right now.
Closest would be Kelly Ward, who is releasing updates periodically on behalf of AZ GOP.
https://mobile.twitter.com/kelliwardaz
Everyone wants to know something, but no legitimate info will be released until the audit is complete.
Deep State will throw everything they can hoping something sticks.
Local media mainly picks up APS and CNN feeds.
Speculation is not journalism, and trolls are out in mass (not calling you, CM-TX a troll!) on all social media and “news” sites.
Even Gateway Pundit is jumping on stories and having to retract or revise.
Deep breath everyone.
I think OAN is getting out ahead of the emerging Fake News narrative … which will be that the audit is ‘lawless’ once their corrupt judge tries to stop it.
Let the dueling news outlets duel.
The Senate audit committee will issue the final report. Then we fight from there.
So tomorrow the dem appointed judge will no doubt shut down the audit
Only if the Senate accepts any Order.
The Judiciary has no authority here. None. Separation of Powers.
If the AZ GOP has fortitude to fight, they would ignore the Courts.

Unfortunately, the girls will have to do the one thing they don’t need a corrupt judicial system for, they just have to walk off the field at the start of the event. And maybe for added effect (and to avoid possible repercussions), maybe they can say they all have their periods at the same time and aren’t participating. See if that draws the evil ones up short.
