Executive Orders can only cover the body that you govern, not private citizens. I think that’s the case for Federal, State and City Government. You have to pass a bill to have it apply to the whole Country, State or City, I believe.
This is just an EO to fill the gap while a more robust bill works its way through the state legislature.

Just a quick note on 2021-22 Elections: Went to early voting for local School Board and Municipal Elections, in city of Allen (Collin County) TX.
The good news is that Allan West is is finally letting folks know who is a Republican on a local level. Up to about 5-10 years ago, this was not so important as the locals did a pretty good job of trying to stay community aligned vs party aligned. I have communicated with the TX RNC and Local RNC that they need to communicate as the central committee of the demo-commie party is;
There are two transplants on this ballot, who are professional “local level” politicians. Spotted then via their website campaign add bio’s. If one did not have some understanding of state poltics and the ability to recognize demo-commie causes, they could easily pass as RINO’s and not so bad. Thus the hand-out from Allan West being very timely.
One was a “minority” from Austin, who served allot of time in Austin City Government and as a leading member of demo-commie organizations and activist causes.
The second was harder to spot as he had served on City Council and left to make a failed run at the County Level. Then I looked at the endorsements and community activity pages. On the endorsement page were friends of mine whom I know are major league democrats (not quite demo-commie yet) and he was an “active member” of local demo-commie organizations.
Then there was the interesting matter of voting I observed. Two Indian or Pakistani women were voting and were asking a male acquaintance standing between them, in their native language, how to cast their votes. The poll watchers did nothing. and did not want to hear my question.
Useful info for everyone, and impetus to get involved in their local politics.
Making the argument for legalization of pot on a federal level is a tough sell. Much easier to write an emotional book bashing Trump to launder money to the dimocrat machinery eager to pack all 3 branches of Gov with leftists to ensure a population of sluggish, apathetic, compliant voters, glued to CNN & numbingly reciting their slogans, paranoid enough to believe the daily dose of fearmongering media delivers that’s needed to keep them in power.

This weekend in MN I entered 2 different grocery stores with mask on, removed it after 30 seconds and continued shopping with my “partially” vaccinated wife. I had my mask visible hanging out of my pocket. No one said a word or questioned me after 20-30 minutes in each store. Every vaccinated person needs to push against restrictions. What will they do if 50% of shoppers refuse to wear a mask? They don’t have enough employees to police the store and deal with a mass disobedience of unlawful orders.

Numerous outlets reported this but utterly failed in reporting that the death rate for vaccinated individuals, 6 out of 1.5mil, is .0004 percent. What that says contrary to just scarily reporting the numbers, is that once vaccinated you have almost ZERO risk of dying! There is no justification, according to the science data to have any restrictions on vaccinated. If all these people can go out and riot with no masks on and no social distance, as a fully vaccinated person, I can walk through a store without a mask. It is time for all vaccinated to trash the mask as soon as you get inside.
Many of us in red states (this one, in particular) do not wear masks…the sole exception being hospitals and clinics that require it if you have to have that medical care. That said, it’s great to hear that people in MN are doing this.
