Who was Jim Crow?
Jim Crow was a fictional character, a caricature of a clumsy, dimwitted Black slave. This derogatory character was created by a white actor named Thomas Dartmouth Rice. The character was reportedly inspired by an elderly Black man he once saw singing a tune called “Jump Jim Crow” in Louisville, Kentucky. Thomas Rice became wealthy playing this character.
In the 1870s, after the Democrats lost The Civil War, their Southern State legislators created Black Codes in response to the Federal Republicans freeing the slaves. The Black Codes morphed into “Jim Crow Laws” which enshrined the policy of separate but equal. Blacks went to separate schools, ate in separate restaurants, and even drank from separate public drinking fountains.
In 1954 the Supreme Court (Brown v. Board of Education) ruled separate but equal to be unconstitutional. In 1957, President Eisenhower had to send Federal troops to Little Rock, Arkansas as Democrat Governor, Orval Faubus blocked the schoolhouse doors. During his second term as vice president, Nixon shepherded through Congress the Civil Rights Act of 1957. The Senate Democrats watered it down, but Martin Luther King told Nixon it was, “much better than no bill at all… we can at least be sure that we are moving steadily ahead.” Finally, in 1964 The Civil Rights Act passed with 78% of House Republicans compared to only 60% support from Democrats. In the Senate it was 82% Republicans and 69% Democrats. This bill was filibustered for 60 days by Democrats Richard Russell, Strong Thurmond, Robert Byrd, William Fulbright and Sam Ervin.
Jim Crow Laws were instituted by Democrats. They lasted nearly one hundred years. In 2010 Robert Byrd (D) died. He was a former executive with the Klu Klux Klan. Joe Biden did his eulogy. Currently, Ralph Northam (D) is serving as the governor of Virginia. Ralph is best known for his handpicked photo in his college annual that shows him and a friend in a KKK hood and black face.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruled on Thursday that compulsory vaccinations are legal and may be necessary in democratic societies.
The ruling came following the conclusion of a complaint brought to the court by Czech families regarding compulsory jabs for children.
“The measures could be regarded as being ‘necessary in a democratic society’,” the court judgment read.
Although the ruling did not deal directly with COVID-19 vaccines, experts believe it could have implications for vaccination drives against the virus, especially among those who have so far stated a refusal to accept the jab.
This judgment “reinforces the possibility of a compulsory vaccination under conditions of the current COVID-19 epidemic,” Nicolas Hervieu, a legal expert specializing in the ECHR, told AFP news agency.

The way I understand the article is that it states that a total of 24 servicemen have died from COVID, not just sailors.
Total Servicemen testing positive = 176,500.
Total Servicemen COVID deaths= 24
Death rate of Servicemen with COVID= .0136%
I don’t know what the average mortality rate is for service members, but the average mortality rate for the US is 890 per 100,000. If the same for service members, avg. mortality rate for 176,500 would equal 1,571 deaths from other causes for a 12 month period.
So, for comparison- COVID=24 deaths, normal mortality rate=1,571 or 1. 52% of all other causes of death.
I bet 23 of those deaths if properly researched or autopsy performed would reveal undiagnosed or other medical issues or the oldest of the old (64 y/o Warrant Officers)
