There is a rumor that Biden’s March 12, 2021 Speech which was purported to be made from the Rose Garden in the White House was made in the Joppa Production Studios in Harford County, Maryland.
The Joppa production studios include the “House of Cards” set for the White House. If there is any truth to this, a large number of people know and not only people in the White House but people in the surrounding vicinities of both locations, the House of Cards set and the actual White House in DC.
People online have claimed they were using the Castle Rock Studios in LA to film Biden in the White House but that would not give them timely access to include the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.
Why wouldn’t they hold the ceremony at the actual White House? I have no idea.

I live in Maryland. When former governor Martin O’Malley declared his number one legislative agenda item was to redefine marriage, even my liberal next-door neighbor made this salient observation: “Well, of course, O’Malley would do this. LTC Alexander “Porky” Vindman is just a an example of the rot that exists today in the military, where loyalty is favored over all else in promotions.
The major flaw in the military is the promotion and assignment systems. If congress can focus on appointing “highly loyal poltical generals”, those generals will impact the promotion as well as assignment systems for enlisted (E7 and up) and ALL officer ranks. The leadership top to bottom eventually is co-opted.
Then combine this fact that the military by its very nature is tribal, thus loyalty to the guys next you are NUMERO UNO and as long as the junior leadership is reasonably competent the rank and file go with the tribe.

FYI…you don’t have to be a citizen of the US to be in the US military. You only have to swear the oath to “support and defend …”
In my line of work, I knew many foreign-born officers and enlisted. I had a good friend, a Major, who was born in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now called Harare, Zimbabwe). He came to the US as a college student, stayed, became a citizen, and was a career officer. He couldn’t wait to retire and go looking for a job in the civilian world — he wanted to check the box that said African-American…he was white and wanted to see the expression on the faces of HR people. But, as he said, he was born in Africa to parents who were born in Africa, he spoke several African tribal languages as well as Afrikaans, he was an American citizen, so he felt very African-Americanish.
Some of the best and most honorable service folks I knew, while serving in Germany, were residuals of the displace persons (DP’s) from WWII. Many of them were veterans of the emigre Polish Divisions serving in the West under US or UK command, who could not return to Communist Poland.
It does not matter, foreign born or not. Like most 2-3rd generation Americans, we all had relatives that went straight from immigration center to the US Army or Navy to fight in WWI.
My Italian Grandfather went straight off the boat, into the US Army in 1916. He fought in WWI.
My Polish Uncles did the same.
My CW3 Maintenance Chief in the 4th Cavalry escaped from Hungary in 1956 as a boy. One of the best Warrant Officers I ever knew.

If the tool returns ‘status not available’ and you received past stimulus payments and your info is unchanged, like address, bank account, etc, overwhelmingly it’ll go OK but in an upcoming batch. I was in the second or third batch the first time and the first batch the second time and nothing yet here either. I’d expect another batch to process late this week with settlement a week from today. No idea what algorithm they use to determine who/what/when.
