as it turned out, they went for many years with UNTREATED syphillis because these assholes wanted to have a study of the long term effects of untreated syphillis –

so these gentlemen were not treated – not cured – even when the means became available – even when some of them enlisted during WWII and were found to have syphillis and were going to be sent for treatment and cure of their illness (through the military), the study officials stepped in and PREVENTED that happening –

so, wives were infected and children were born with all the horrific ramifications that would ensue –

finally, it was stopped – oh, and I think there was a payment of ten million US dollars to the entire surviving group in the 1990’s – and President Clinton issued an apology on behalf of the federal government –

I think THIS horrible genocidal “STUDY” was something that would have made Josef Mengele proud –

along with the promotion of Margaret Sanger’s “eugenics” and endorsement of the Holocaust for black babies, why don’t we ever hear about this – is it because the people who want to experiment on us don’t want to remind people how bad “absolute power” can be?

The purpose of all this is straight out on the socialist revolutionary play book. In order to facilitate the revolution’s aims it is most important is to weaken or, better still, destroy a societie’s social institutions. Once you have destroyed the social institutions, once you have created social situations where conventional social norms no longer make sense, then you have the perfect opportunity to create an entirely new society, built along lines revolutionary socialists desire. I watched him Monday night to see what he would say about the CPAC speech. He seems to be disheartened. If he is what he claims to be, he would have to leave fox. He can’t be supporting Trump and continue giving these traitors a platform to spew their gop propaganda at the same time. I think people are realizing this.

To be written only by those elected to Congress not by their staff and not by any lobbyists, K-Street or donors! The problem with that is it’s work and would leave little time for what they do most of the time and that is fund raise and cut sweetheart deals for themselves, family and friends!

I would have been more impressed if the Senators were made to be present in chamber during the reading. Same thought for the House side and all these committee meetings in both chambers.

Don’t ya just love when some of these hearings last 8-12 hours in grilling those in front of them on the hot seat, but the individual committee members only stick around for their 5-10 minutes of on camera spotlight fame?

So yeah, I think all bills and amendments should be publicly published 2-4 days ahead of a vote and all should be read out loud in front of a fully attended chamber in either house. Maybe that would cut down on these 500-2,000 page bills that no congress critter has read and certainly none of the public they are supposed to represent have had a chance to read.

And I’m all for a limit of 200 pages for any bill. Just how many pages are in the entire Constitution and all Amendments? Make that the limit on any bill. It is ridiculous to have any one bill have more pages than our entire founding documents to set up our entire government.

I would be quite happy… if they were just forced to live by the same rules and programs that they foist upon us mere mortals.

But then again, I may actually want a bit more tomorrow.

I would prefer they have to write their own bills instead of having someone else make them up.

I prefer they be forced to present each different topic in a bill as it’s own stand alone bill and have to vote on each one separately. With thousand page bills this would prove quite time consuming and they would very clearly have to be aware of what they are voting on, pork and all, alone and in full view for the people to see. Limited ability for line item veto would be nice too. imo

sunnydaze, thank goodness people are aware. While sexual harassment is serious, it doesn’t compare to the horror of what happened in nursing homes. Those people were helpless while the women could have walked out. Losing a career isn’t like losing your life. Hopefully, Como can face justice on both fronts.

The closest we came to making a stand was Jan 6. They weren’t armed, as much as they want to call it an “insurrection”. I was on here and cheered them on to make their voices heard because the country would be lost. It is lost. The only insurrection that happened that day was from Pence and Congress not sending it back to the states for audit, but certifying electors of a fraudulent election that stole the office of Presidency.

Our fight will be election security. We’ll see, because we are not violent people like the Left. We do not loot or burn churches. We don’t take over city blocks like the Left. We don’t attack and throw Molotov cocktail ICE like the Left. The Left is total scum. Our people that day at the Capitol were singing the National Anthem, they were being patriotic. They walked respectfully between the velvet ropes. A couple ornery people did take a lecturn and sat in Pelosi’s chair to “appreciate” it. They weren’t smashing the items to the ground. I think Congress was more upset their inner sanctum was “violated” by Commoners as they weren’t really a threat.

I will agree, the repercussions people have had since that day have made us cower. They are coming full throttle with the Commie Gestapo FBI, even going after people that only attended the rally.

The Left is toxic in every way. We must somehow turn that narrative around starting with people we talk to in our communities. In fact, I will start with an employee at a grocery store, I will recognize her, “Did you get your normal with this election?” She had said election day, “I just want things to get back to normal.”
