They tried to force me to have one installed at my house and I refused. A guy still comes around once a month to read my meter. I also shop around for the best electricity rates. I just signed a two year contract with a supplier for 7.7 cents per kwh. Every little bit counts.
When we renovated our house several years ago, we made sure we didn’t do anything “smart.” The fewer bells and whistles, the better. Easier to repair too.
I also refused the smart meter and have to pay extra to have it manually read. Nothing online is safe from hacking, etc. If the company is hacked or the grid taken down, I’m still screwed, just like everybody else, but I did my best.
I have nothing to hide. It’s the principle. It’s nobody’s business, but ours. We’re capable of deciding how to economically set our environmental controls and to use our appliances. It’s not like we want to pay the energy company more than we have to, but even if the costs didn’t matter to us, AOC, Fraudident Uncle Alzheimer, Vice-Fraudident Heels-Up, etc. and their fellow foreign and domestic psychopaths don’t have the right, intellectual or moral agency to decide anything other than the color of their straight jacket.
Us too. We called and cancelled and made them come and take out the smart media. We have to pay a little extra (I think its something like $5.) but we have someone who comes around and reads meter. We don’t have choice on supplier where I live.
Our excuse was the smart meter gave us headaches and insomnia. Bad juju.

If you believe that they will not not be using “climate change” for all sorts of “injustices” then you have not been paying attention my friend. When you really look at it, the Climate Data “progressives” present is really dubious (as there is not a climate data set out there that has not been “adjusted”) and there is not a single “unadjusted” climate data set that shows any unusual / significant warming.
If you want some real concrete proof, take a look at any of the long term high quality tide gauges around the world (for example the Battery in New York Harbor ) and you won’t find any sea level rise “acceleration” in any of the data. If you really wanted to press the issue, that would be the easiest thing for a climate alarmist to seize upon, just show New Yorker’s the island will be under water, using its own tide gauge, but you won’t be able to do it.
Unravelling the Climate Situation takes about as much effort as Sundance applied to RussiaGate, but it all comes apart under close scrutiny.
Until this election, I was willing to give the alarmist community a slight benefit of the doubt. But if one has no qualms about rigging elections, rigging the climate data is a misdemeanor by comparison.
In my considered scientific opinion (after as much delving as Sundance in SpyGate) we are just in a short natural cycling of warming that is just being exploited for political and financial gain. Trump is right, it will get colder, just wait.
So, my advice would be to just turn off the MSM and be thankful you found CTH. And if you are really concerned about the climate and environment, find a site like CTH that discusses climate (wattsupwiththat.com for example) realistically and respectfully with all scientific opinions considered.

As long as HR-1 addresses only the “requirements” for Federally Elected Office, it is sad to say Congress IS within their Constitutionally allocated authorities. In the matter of Federal elections, states only address methods of compliance within the states borders. The handling of Federal Electors is part of the compliance.
Congress and Courts can also deal with impingement on rights of citizens and criminal activity related to elections.
The only wiggle room for the States is if they sue to set definitions and boundaries of Congressional Requirements on Federal elections.

Boxes of smaller boxes, and within these smaller boxes are little wrapped items of “100-calorie” servings. Single-serving meal prep kits, with each ingredient in its own little plastic wrapping or plastic vial. Little ‘starter kits’ for everything and loot boxes for every niche. A mountain of packaging for the cell phone/tablet that you must upgrade each and every year.
And now with COVID hysteria, pre-packaged plastic tableware for every take-out. I thought styrofoam containers were on the way out, but i’d guess the volume of this refuse has quadroupled in the past year. Cities are droning in this stuff. And that’s not even taking into account the PPE…. go to any Wal Mart or grocery parking lot, there are masks everywhere.

It is common practice for orginal OP ORDERS to be amended in real time with Fragmentary Orders. The military has Operation Process they religiously follow to ensure efficient execution and support for any action taken.

During his tenure from 1933 to 1945 FRD issued 3,345 Executive Orders which greatly extended the power of the executive branch. In a speech Roosevelt made in 1912 he placed the liberty of the community over the liberty of the individual.
The result of the Yalta Conference held in 1945 between FDR, Churchill and Stalin resulted in much of Europe being placed under communist control. Some historians stated that FDR only did this because he was ill and was not thinking correctly. From what I am reading that was not the case. FDR admired Stalin and his communist policies.
Many of the programs FDR implemented during the depression, as part of his “New Deal” were later determined to be unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court. One of those policies was the NRA, National Recovery Act. In order to do business, a business had to have a NRA plaque in the window which set prices and had other controls.
The US eventually recovered from the Great Depression due to the start of World War II, the economy flourished with the building of the instruments of war. Of course when the war ended, industries had to re tool and the country went through a recession. Some of the soldiers who returned home were disillusioned because they could not get work. However, most attempted to return to some state of normal, got married, attended college on the GI bill and purchased homes through the VA.
My point being in all this is that this country has been through difficult times before. We managed to survive. But each time we have come out on the other side, more of our freedoms have been restricted. What will it take this time, I really don’t know but I do know that we have to stick together and make the best life for ourselves that we can. Get your family together and made decisions about what is best for you. Many of us depended on one man to fix the problems of more than 80 years in 4 years; that was totally unrealistic. However, President Trump did give us a glimpse of how great this country can be with a leader who truly cares about individual
freedom and liberty.

They want a violent clash to occur and they will make damn sure it does. I’m not sure we can combat this strategy.
Two Concepts We All Need to Understand
Today I’m writing about the two most important and basic concepts that all members of the Human race should strive to fully understand. Sadly, this is not the case. Cleverly and purposely, we have been lead away from these two concepts, and it’s all about power and riches. I will do so in very broad strokes to keep this short. Nevertheless, these are the two concepts that make us who we are, and all other things Human stem from these.
The first one I will touch on just in passing, lest I spend the whole day writing this.
LOGICAL THOUGHT:
The easiest way I can describe this is in this phrase: “what do you think, what do you know, what can you prove”. I live by that phrase. This short phrase is the cornerstone, the bastion, of Logic. Without this concept communication that goes beyond attempts at coercion is hopeless. Yes, we all have “beliefs” (what do you think) and that’s all good, but we should only invite NOT coerce other people to share our beliefs.
TRIBALISM:
This one has been around for hundreds of thousands of years, unchanged. We never really use that word to describe ourselves anymore. The meaning of the word Tribe has been changed to reflect (in some people’s view and on purpose) less advanced Human aggregations. The powers that be use more “polite” words like “Society”, “Civilization” (as in civilized), etc. The worst offender changing the meaning of words is Merriam Webster – their #1 definition of Tribe:

Really? Pure hogwash. The truth is we are all members of Tribes, mostly without slaves, and have been so since the beginning of the Human race.
As Tribes we were at first gatherers and hunters – nomadic. Farming brought about a drastic change – territory. Territory had to be protected. We fought to protect territory or to take it away from others. This is ongoing today. Nothing has changed about that, with a glaring exception.
Tribal leaders soon realized that there was a better way than to constantly fight for protecting small territories. We Humans then came up with the “clever” idea of amalgamating all the nearby territories and their respective tribes into an organized Council of Tribes, where such union was a contract where all tribes had the duty to protect each other’s territories. The concept of the STATE was born.
But that wasn’t enough! The next evolution was to amalgamate the Council of Tribes into a Supertribe for the same reasons. And this led to the present state: the COUNTRY. Now Countries still have territory, and we still fight over it. NOTHING CHANGED. Except, for one small miracle of a thing….. The United States of America.
Our Founding Fathers were keenly aware of tribalism as the basic concept of tribal and individual worth and unity. So, instead of creating just one tribe (the Supertribe) they realized that it was incredibly important that the smaller tribes had an equal say in the governance of the Supertribe. So, they created a Federation of States, a Republic. And small tribes and individual freedoms flourished as a result.
It has worked better than any other amalgamation of tribes in the whole history of the world. That until some people wanted the power and control to reside exclusively in the hands of the Supertribe, modeled after other amalgamations used by pretty much the rest of the world – the “Communal” model (as in Communism) – the abolition of small tribes). A prettier term is “Socialism”, it means the same thing (see the Merriam Webster definition above). Whatever they call themselves they ALL include severe restrictions of tribal and individual freedoms, for the sake of the “Supertribe”.
To do this in the USA, they have swiftly changed the focus of all the individuals and smaller tribes to the two subsets of the Supertribe, the two dominant political parties. This is where we are now. We as individuals, and as members of the smaller tribes have been cleverly led to abandoning the first key concept I mentioned: “Logical Thought”. This is by design, a grand design completely descended from the “Communal” model.
To recap, after all these hundreds of thousands of years, we are all still Tribal. But maybe we should be paying a LOT more attention to our own smaller tribes, not falling in the trap of having ALL our attention shifted to the Supertribe. In as much as the communal minds want you to believe otherwise, history has logically shown that the Supertribe cannot ever survive without us, the smaller tribes.

There is much talk of ‘voter revolution’ to make the current establishment GOP irrelevant, a cause I whole-heartily agree with. Whether as a 3rd party or just a re-take of the current GOP. To that end, it would be a good first step to identify currently elected officials of the GOP that are decidedly in the ‘Patriot Party’ GOP mindset, MAGA, Trump supporters.
As we are dealing with politicians, and humans, in reading TCH threads you can get a full spectrum of opinions. If a Senator, for example, did not support Trump’s stance on the Alaska Gold mine proposal does that negate them from the movement? Is there a litmus test? Set of litmus?
Clearly there is not 100% agreement on who’s in or out. Regardless, I try to follow the things that impact my life most: locally and nationally, but my knowledge of national politicians outside my State and perhaps off the primary national stage is deficient.
It would be good to have a ‘thread’ that could be used to inform ‘us’ about potential candidates that fit the Patriot bill from these representative’s local Americans. Are the ID or IN Senators RINOs? The take on House members from the people they actually represent. Jon Tester is a Dem, Steve Daines leans in the right direction but I am not sure yet of his true convictions. Rep Rosendale lost to Tester 2 years ago for Senate and is now Rep and I do not have a read yet.
Start a list of Republicans we can trust, who might welcomely support/switch to a Patriot Party if one so existed.

My wording, not a direct quote – They’re going to come hard at Trump in ways people aren’t discussing (re impeachment). They’re going to try making him an accessory of murder.
In my opinion the time for “counter punching” has passed. It is time to attack. Trump needs to put Congress on their ass. Their lawlessness can not continue. They have impeached him based on nothing but their lies, demonstrable lies. Their assertions are contrary to provable. fact. Obvious facts. The Senate will not allow facts at their show trial. Trump needs to establish the facts legally, prior to any Senate action, and destroy these lying bastards with facts.
I hate to say it, but I believe in a couple of months people will be angry that, whoever was entering the Capitol on Jan. 6, didn’t “lay siege” to every one of these corrupt pos.
I know someone who traveled out to DC for the last two “peaceful protests”. They were on the capital steps for the last rally and stood right next to an Anti-fa member yelling at and enticing Trump people to enter the capital. They saw the Capital Police waving people into the Capital building and allowing them to walk right in. They had all kinds of photos of it all happening. They called the FBI afterward. They wanted none of it. No testimony, no photos, nothing. Not interested.
That’s their plan, IMO, and why the NG is there.
