I’ve been thinking about Patriot Party vs staying Repub. I resigned after 35 yes as an R after McConnell’s disgraceful speech. Two thoughts:
First, we MUST send a message to the GOPe. They are too cocky and entrenched. Secondly, we 3rd party members could cross endorse good R’s, like Jim Jordan or Louie Gohmert if they stay R’s. In Ny there is a Conservative party that sometimes cross endorses R’s.
If we switch parties now, the establishment will have time to groom and promote bait and switch candidates for the new party. It’s a personal thing, but I plan to stick around long enough to help torpedo a rino or two..

Also need to win state legislatures, state AG and Sec. of State positions so that election fraud can be addressed.

No need to do that. If the new party is strong enough and endorses really good candidates, the repubs will be torpedoed anyway. Just get rid of all of them. If the good ones like Jordan want to keep their seats they have to leave the repubs and join the new party and become candidates there. The Republican Party needs to be dismantled completely.

I have seen other posting on Gab about formation of another party (Patriot Party) with the platform being listed already. I was unable to read the photo of the paperwork.
Sidney Powell posted on Telegram that a new PAC called Restore the Republic has been formed by Mike Lindell and Joe Flynn. They have a website.
My point is that people are moving forward to make change. Somehow we need to engage with these people and be part of the solution.
I don’t like the name. We need to appeal to all people. Even the left, Trump got a lot of D votes.
We need name that implies fighting against DC elites, corruption, big corporations, appeal to blue collar workers.
I think we should stick with a movement instead of an official party. .But…Anything is better than doing the same thing over and over.

Give enough time for the GOP to pollute a Patriot Party and they certainly will. Wait and see is not a strategy. It’s an opportunity for experienced and well organized, well funded, opposition. Rather then possibly unseating 1 or 2 GOP Congressmen imagine Patriot Party Representatives and Senators seated in 2022 – in proportion to the true number of votes for Trump in 2020! Think big; think control over the House and Pelosi, the Senate and Schumer.
Do not be concerned with ‘plants’ of duplicitous Republicans in a new Patriot Party. Trump would be in charge. But this go around he wouldn’t be campaigning for just anybody like a Kelly Loeffler or a 3rd time re-runner. He and you would be picking the candidates building a united voice.
FIRST, you must figure out a way to rid elections from fraud and corruption — or you’re just spinning your wheels.
I agree. I voted in a township and found out they use Dominion machines. I stated we won’t vote if they stay. The states must get a handle on this fraudulent scheme called voting. If they don’t by mid-terms then nothing changes. Same O’, Same O’. The elections will be pre-determined.
I think I read that Georgia signed a contract for several years with Dominion. Don’t know how to change that.
A few ideas. Write your elected representatives. Recall the governor. Begin a petition to get a referendum on the ballot.
They don’t want a change and do not care if you don’t vote. They only care about the power to decide who wins and the money they can make.

I think the most important thing we must do is lay claim to our local County Clerk offices. Then the Sec. of State. As long as those positions are filled by the enemy, no ground can be gained.
Sue- I have been working in NY politics for over 30 years and have run successful campaigns for the GOP and recently the Libertarians. I ran as a third party Libertarian for town board in 2019 and lost to the corrupt Republicans who ran against me.
The NY Conservatives are a great example of a third party that has been around for a real long time and gotten nowhere. That’s all they can do is to cross endorse because they don’t really promote their candidates or their party or their values.
The Libertarians turned out to be the worst in every respect. In fact, in many ways they were worse than the Dems on the state level. The only reason I ran on their was because the Repubs wouldn’t endorse me because I was a proud MAGA supporter!
The best point that’s being made is none of this matters unless we have ELECTION INTEGRITY.
Otherwise we ARE wasting our time.

Different time right now Seneca. The Conservative party in NY or anywhere else never had 74 million angry voters ready to start a new way and new party. All we need is credible leaders and some organization. We are ready willing and able to move with a new party if a good one is formed.

I just switched back to Independent. Because of the rules in California, one must be registered Republican to vote in the primaries for the Republican candidate. And that is what I do.
In order to fix the voter fraud issue, we all need to get involved in our local election process and local government in general. Perhaps then we can take back the Republican party, if that is the direction we take. The issue of finding and vetting potential candidates will be an ongoing process.

Re: small groups. Years ago a lobbyist spoke to a special interest group I was attending. She used the No helmet motorcycle people as an example. Basically, a group- a fairly small group, practically “moved in” with the Texas state legislature. They were there Every week; to the point that they were recognized, by name, by the staffers and state representatives. They got their way. (Things may or may not have changed since 20 years ago.)
Since elections are a state issue, people should be getting organized and going there NOW.
Having said that, I’m not sure that’s enough. 44 states were disenfranchised by 6 Blatantly Corrupt states and “our” (It’s not ours.) Blatantly Corrupt VP and Congress made it happen. SCOTUS stood aside with a Be-My-Guest sweeping gesture.
It might be helpful to try and talk to any ‘straight’ (meaning not corrupt) Congresspeople for your state (ie Ted Cruz, Louie Gohmert, Jim Jordan) or their staffers, to see what they would advise us to do and see if they can help in any way.
Maybe simultaneously start the process for getting international election observers lined up for the next several elections, too. I don’t know how long that takes.

When you see McConnel attacking Trump and signaling approval of an unconstitutional use of impeachment, you are seeing the majority Republican senate political judgement. When you see McCarthy condemn Trump as the cause of violence for the DC march and simultaneously rebuke any actions against Biden, you are seeing the majority Republican congressional ideology.
There will be no organized resistance from the Republicans and conservatives remaining locked to them will not be able to conduct a collective, broad based plan of action. If you wish to resist beyond individual means, you need a real opposition party. We are way past the point where we can allow our voices and will to be neutralized by Republican treachery.

When you see a complex military operation occur on the day after inauguration you are seeing where the majority Military loyalties lie. I think somebody, maybe not POTUS Trump, needs to hold rallies in his name and clearly explain to the American people what the treasonous objective is of the criminal elite in Washington and how they want to take POTUS, and more importantly, the American people down. So, technically abortions performed outside the moralizing context ARE ILLEGAL and by upholding Roe v Wade, without change to the moralizing discussion, the courts actually have declared the expansion of the moralizing discussion as ILLEGAL.
Society has evilly decided to ignore the expansion of that expanded behavioral context to include murder of a child because mommy and/or daddy had second thoughts.

That depends upon the rules set, by the senate, for the trial, and rulings during trial made by the trial judge, who the senate can designate. The judge rules on the relevance and admissibility of the election, for example evidence of election theft.
There is no judicial oversight, i.e. a place to appeal the trial result. SCOTUS PJ, Roberts, will bow out based on the language calling for the PJ to act as judge in the impeachment of a POTUS, but is silent on who the judge will be in impeachment trial of a former POTUS. The senate will decide that.

We plan on doing this and report back. We live in a conservative town and have tyrant for a governor. In fact one of the radio hosts here has nicknamed him Lord Ducey. We want to talk to our local representatives about what they will do about some of these federal mandates coming and if they will fight for us. Dear Senator Johnson,
Thank you for your recent Op-Ed in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal; sadly as you describe things, this Media outlet is no longer a Sentinal for truth or honest Journalism. You spoke Truth on behalf of tens of millions of Americans across this Land who in their hearts believe something awful happened with our recent Presidential election.
(Oops – should be spelled Sentinel, or maybe insentient!)
I am saddened by their need to condemn any person who dares to speak against their Agenda.
The little I understand, however, it seems clear this problem did not develop just this past fall. There seems to have been long-festering concerns about the integrity of the election process, especially in portions of Milwaukee and Madison. Our state Legislature would have approved budgets allowing for purchase and support of expensive automated/electronic election machinery. Even a casual observer of the election process such as myself could see gathering evidence of problems, such as election officials disregarding court orders to take certain names off of voter roles and published accounts of massive increases in vote by mail and absentee ballot efforts.
Then there was little effort shown by our State legislature, in the immediate aftermath of the initial election results, to do the hard work required of them by Article Two of our Constituion. Simply stating their work was done by passing laws describing the election process is, I believe, missing a greater part of their role as more than simple caretakers of the body of the Law.
Numerous and serious concerns were raised within even the first hours after the preliminary results were published. Given the stakes, nationally and for our state, I fail to understand the avoidance to take decisive and certain efforts to determine if the initial counts were so tainted by fraud or corruption as to be invalid or not.
As the weeks progressed, I also observed various state and federal courts essentially also avoiding asking hard questions or attempting to settle these many legitimate issues we still, weeks later, have yet to see any real attempt to resolve. If anything, with all of the evidence that has been shown by your Committee’s hearings and the Statehouse hearings on December 11, gave our concerns even stronger validity.
For me, this gives me the unmistakeable sense of all branches of our State and Federal Government all pointing away from their ownership of this enormous challenge facing all Americans, regardless of Party loyalty or preferences. I am left with a profound sense of Dis-enfranchisement. My voice, my vote, my concerns have been ignored, silenced and betrayed.
I loudly and whole-heartedly agree with your statement above:
“it is not sustainable that so many have lost faith in our institutions and the fairness of our electoral process.”
