It was a must to get. One day, and I suspect soon, you won’t find it anymore.
I have been feverishly ordering HARD copies of so many books in the past couple of months because I know they will be “disappearing” down the Memory Hole very shortly!! Gulag Archipelago is one of the ones I just got, along with One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, Fahrenheit 451, Brave new World, Animal Farm, 1984 (naturally!) and a host of other historical books, as well as those by prominent Christian authors, who will also probably be banned soon.
Yvgeny Zamyatin (sp?) ‘WE.’ One of the best dystopian novels I ever read.

Oh I have tons of those around…LOL! I am about the only practicing Christian in my immediate family so every time someone dies I end up with their Bible. I have them going all the way to my Great Great Grandmother, who came from Ireland to Canada in the 1850s and then evidently walked across the border into the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. My most cherished one is the one from my maternal grandmother because it is filled with notes and underlines and thoughts and prayers on every page!

A general question – how many have looked at the individuals past presidents have pardoned in any detail? How many cabinet members and staff of past presidents did anyone know the names of? Trump barely edged out GHWB in total clemency, Bush still has the one-term record low in modern times at 200, Trump is a few higher than that. Name one of those Bush pardoned without checking the internet.

Can anyone pinpoint exactly when President Trump started talking about draining the swamp? I don’t remember hearing about it until very late in the 2016 campaign. It never seemed like it was something that he was serious about trying to do.

I’m as patriotic as the next guy, but the adage that soldiers died to give us the right to vote is a bit shopworn and self defeating. For the last 120+ years soldiers have died on foreign soils because politicians sent them there, only to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. So in a sense, one might turn the adage to suggest that voting might actually be the indirect cause of soldiers’ deaths. For roughly 120 years we have been falsely led to believe that democracy is a beautiful concept. Well, democracy has led us to this very moment in history, which I think we can agree is not so beautiful. Voting does not put honorable men and women on the ballot. We are well beyond voting our way out of this mess.

This is really no time for discussing much less determining what one’s actions would be in 2022. THE solution to restoring authentic elections is…. for millions of former Rs/trump voters to GO TO THE POLLS on election day… and NOT VOTE… but PROTEST publically so everyone who does go to vote can be told the FACTS about our elections –that they are fake that our votes are IRRELEVANT to WHO wins.
Merely staying home MAY help some but will not really help because it is POSSIBLE TO MANUFACTURE VOTES IN THE SYSTEMS so it WILL look like we did vote even if we did not.
I’ve asked that same question myself. But then I have to ask, if that is part of what the corrupt system wants? To make us believe that they are so firmly in control that we just give up our right to vote. Also, I believe that sometimes symbolic actions are just as important as those those that actually produce results. They may try to silence our voice, but we can show that we aren’t going to just lay down and roll over for them.
Why can’t we take action now? There are too many illegalities that took place that the “elites” refuse to look at. Is it because that’s how they got their jobs and they are afraid we’ll find out just how many of them weren’t elected by the people they are supposed to be representing? How long have they been buying their seats?
Nope. Not voting. What’s the point? The uniparty does whatever they want. The will of the people was to remove them. We didn’t elect slow Joe. We elected President Trump.
The vile establishment swamp is hurting millions. The Lord sees and He will not be mocked. This is a full assault upon Him as they pray to idols and diminish male/female created in the image of God. While I wish for swift vengeance, I know that whether now or in eternity these evil doers will be languishing in the lake of fire.
I believe we will need to vote because our VSGDJT will need all the help he can get moving forward.
It is important to me. Surely if we do not vote, they win. I was born in 1956, voting age was changing at around the same time I turned 18. Voted first time in 1974. We were definitely conditioned at that time to appreciate the right to vote at any age… that was good conditioning in my opinion. The sentiment has changed; but the importance of voting, in my view, remains. if it is corrupt, demand changes but do not give up!
And if we vote, they win too. I’ve been demanding changes from my government for years, even Pres Trump. If I ever got a response (never once from Pres. Trump or his office btw), it was always a form letter with a bunch of talking points. Never once anything substantive to the points of my communication.
The reality is the system doesn’t care what we think because they make the rules, exempt themselves from those rules, apply the rules for benefit and punishment. and enough of the public is in on the grift that it leaves the system free and with enough support to perpetuate itself. I honestly don’t see how anything short of armed revolution can fix the problem. Not calling for it, just not seeing any way to “reform” it through voting that doesn’t matter and politics that pit We The People against our own elected and unelected representatives.
First, if you are in a state that uses voting hardware running Smartmatic software, then the only task before you is to get it removed. There needs to be a nation-wide effort on this front to develop a standard, open source system. People like to point to Texas and ES&S, but they are proprietary and vulnerable to compromise.
Second, failing the first point, I am still going to vote, and keep on voting, if for no other reason than to force the usurpers to put their theft on record. If they are going to commit treason, then make them do it for real. I won’t capitulate and give them that victory without forcing them to commit the actual crime.

We need a catalyst. I believe Texas can provide it. They have a historical desire to secede from the Republic. They are rapidly turning blue and have at most the next 2 years before the flood gates open. They have no judicial standing as proven. However, they have created a tremendous coalition of like minded states. They can use this coalition to resist the tremendous wealth transfer Biden is about to legislate to support/bailout the California and New York welfare states. Establish a negotiating position with the Federal government. Plus, Texas has the largest heavy armor installation in the country. Seems like a strong hand to me.
They aren’t turning blue – exit polling shows the new arrivals are more “red” than existing citizens. The dems will try to turn them blue though by flooding them with illegals. I’d like some Texans to check in, but my understanding is Abbott and many of their executives are just a different breed of RINO who care only about their own power.

As a long-time Texan, I’ve been thinking for several years that 2024 would be the turning point for Texas going blue or purple. I know longer believe that has to be the case. Trump’s performance in the border counties of the Rio Grande Valley was historic. Border security is important to those folks. They’re gonna get to watch up close the flood coming over the border the next few years, which will reinforce their views. That, plus cleaning up the garden-variety election fraud in this state should keep us safe in 2024 and perhaps beyond.
Continuing problem is the large number of country-club Republicans in this state, but I’m more hopeful than I’ve been in a while. State level Republicans continue to do well. Abbott won by 14 points just 2 years ago while Cruz struggled.
