I have hope though. I have family members who would put on Fox when they wake up and turn it off when they go to bed. All of them have dumped their streaming subscriptions and no longer watch Fox. Many of my friends have changed their voter registrations.
We just need to keep reminding people that Fox is part of the same abjectly corrupt system that runs our Government and runs the media. Fox only exists to sucker conservatives into sitting in front of ads for pizza, pharmaceutical products and cars. If there was no fake news on Fox, those eyeballs could not be manipulated into buying stuff they don’t need with money they don’t have.
I’ve taken the same approach to Fox that I’ve taken to Twitter/Facebook. When people post something, I either ignore it, or respond with “You still use that? Oh, bless your heart.”

The single most important thing, however, was that in 1854 there was a very fast movement to set up the new party, and recruit Whigs and disaffected (anti-slavery) Democrats.
It has been argued here, and elsewhere, that we own the GOP because we put the money and effort into it. But, from a business point of view, that is a sunk cost. That money is gone, and we have all been betrayed by the Republican Party. Their brand is dying because most people have figure out that it’s all a lie – the GOP simply exists to make it look like there is an opposition party. They are not actually an opposition party. It makes no sense for us to try and pick up that dead carcass to try and resurrect it.
We need to rather quickly decide what our new party is, what it stands for, and who are desired candidates will be. These candidates need to be committed America-firsters in areas where the Trump/MAGA majority is extensive and controlling. By doing this, we eat away at the GOP’s strangle hold on the post Civil War status quo. We need the GOP to bleed out, but we need to pick our spots and do it smartly.

The Constitution requires the State Legislators to select the Electors and certify them. It doesn’t mention the governors or secretary of state at all. Pence only accepted slates of electors with a certificate from the sos, and ignored slates from the State Legislators who had certified their votes but didn’t attached a certificate. Nobody expected that stinky trick.
This might have been funny if it was just a Monty Python skit. I wonder how the Battleground Legislators felt when they were told their votes didn’t count because they didn’t attach a CERTIFICATE like the secretaries of states did.
