I’m proposing we need a Do-Nothing movement (call it a party). American democracy can only survive if the Republican Party withers. The Republican establishment will fiercely oppose and obstruct the rise of any alternative party on the right. And, as we know now, they will resort to any means, legal or illegal, to thwart the capture of the Republican Party by outsiders.
What they cannot stop is the disappearance of any support from the American electorate. If we do nothing, if we do not show up to vote Republican, if we refuse to give money to any Republican candidate (particularly incumbents), if we stop registering as Republicans, and most significantly, if we abandon all emotional or political attachment to the GOP, their party (not ours anymore) will die as quickly as the useless Whig Party.
The GOP establishment has been unhappy with us (their unfortunate voters) for a long time. Jeb! Bush was convinced he could somehow buy a new electorate, with enough money spent on advertising and consultants. The consultant class became the Never-Trumpers and unleashed the Lincoln Project. They hate you, folks. And you vote for them, because you have no choice? Choose to do nothing.

IMO the world is not going to ever return to the pre-globalist era – at least not in the foreseeable future. So to look at politics solely through the prism of local politics is misguided. The days of the “division” being between Tories and Labor, Rep and Dem, even Conservative and Liberal is no longer applicable. Today we are in a world of Elites vs the rest. The elites are for all intent “party less”, even nation less – or to be more accurate – it’s irrelevant – because one can be whatever – just as long as the goal is achieved – CONTROL. If the citizens of the world desire or even know what they want, we will need to put aside the media controlled and elite produced propaganda, and look at everything afresh. Personally, I have little hope – just look at how childishly easy it is to BS millions of people into doing WHATEVER you desire. They have to be astonished at just how easy the majority of humanity simply folds and actually actively ENGAGES in their own destruction and pain. It may seem so obvious, but it’s like smashing ones head against the wall – so many people would rather just follow, than risk even the slightest hint of threat or danger – from whatever source. Perhaps as a whole, we do not deserve our so called democratic freedoms.

I think he nails it with the statement ‘we had no awareness of the real situation’. As regular readers of this and other blogs etc, we are aware of the real situation, but we’re the minority. I spoke with a friend about covid the other day and told her a few things that will be coming down the pike (vaccines required for travel, jobs etc) and she simply refused to believe me.
Even when I told her they’re already trialing covid passports. Her response was ‘we’ve never mandated vaccines before’ (here in Canada)….like somehow that means something.
I’ve had neither the will or the desire to try to convince friends here of the global fallout from the stolen election and installation of the ccp vassal and his junta. I tried once and was told that it ‘hurt their head’. They’ll become aware of it in due course. In the meantime they’ll continue to satiate themselves with Netflix binge watching and Amazon binge shopping.

I won’t wear one, but I could not sit through an entire service in one if I wanted to.
It may not be for everyone depending upon your denomination, but I’ve taken to watching Pastor Jack Hibbs from Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills. His church is open, packed and not a mask in sight. And he’s had a few choice words for those churches that have failed their parishioners by staying closed at such a critical time.
Since I go back a long way ( coming up on 86) ?.. we the people began to be more dependent on others to help us solve life’s problems..government, various businesses etc..the American spirit of self reliance slowly began to fade ..
I think regulations and laws, increasing exponentially, led to more government reliance. If you have tons of “rules” blocking you from being creative and innovative to solve your problems, then you get stuck saying , “OK then, I can’t do X, y, or Z, so its your problem, help me government!”
I believe it happened with the push toward more packaged foods. When people don’t even know how to cook for themselves, (let alone grow food), they are dependent.
Several years ago we purchased five acres and have become much more self reliant. In that time, I began to realize just how much government interference there is in our lives. The Republicans never actually stop the Democrats, all they seem to do is nibble around the edges and get small little concessions. This is why we have to contact the Democrat side and get into their faces. They need more opposition, not less. They need to hear from us about why their ideas are so stupid.
I agree that we used to be more self-suffient and responsible for ourselves. But when times are difficult we should be able for a time, be able to lean on others. It was us being dependent on the government to fix whatever that brought us to today.
Before Social Security people that needed help turned to the churches and the churches helped. That was really the main reason that churches were given “tax-free” status, because they were the social safety net. Many churches and ministries still provide a safety net, but the government is still trying to block it and only allow government sponsored or approved assistance.
It has been going on so long now that multiple generations think that the government is supposed to be our babysitters and caretakers.

Also, hospitals always had “charity cases” for widows, orphans, etc. that were paid for by some combination of generous doctors and funding sources like churches and other organizations. They did charity work in an organic way. Governments don’t like it when people solve their problems on their own.

Agree – I have already stopped donating to any but Trump. I am unsubscribing to all GOP mailers. I will change my party affiliation to None or Independent or Libertarian unless we have another party. In the 80’s supporting a GOP to keep jobs in high tech military contractors seemed the right thing. But years and years of unending war in the world with those ideas is not right. Watching President Trump bring about peace through other means shows the zero sum game is not correct. Innovation, new ideas, commerce, trade, and other leverage are much more effective. The only problem was the cancer within our system. It must be rooted out. 50+ years of wars and misery for many in our country and the world did not work. It is interesting those minorities in our country were witnessing growth, prosperity, peace and hope under President Trump. However, their leaders again co-opted away their future for more Democrat and Uniparty graft – at the expense of the people. Sad.

For instance, her win Alabama the only “Dem” areas are around Birmingham and Montgomery, everything else is solid Republican. There wasn’t even a Democrat on the ballot in the Madison County area. (How sad for the Democrats that their party didn’t even try, just like the Republicans don’t try in other areas – which we all no is probably by design)

I would love for Sundance to start developing a platform based on the conversations here. There’s obviously a lot of discussions that gone on when things are posted, within 2 months we could have a “Contract with America” ready to go. We need a solid, simple platform that is MAGA. It’ll get traction with the right people. It needs to be used to vet candidates starting with any upcoming local elections and especially this summer as we look to identify and support people in the mid-terms.
It could be the MAGA caucus. In reality, there could be two prongs: 1) a core basic that transcends all people from slightly left of center to far right and 2) additional “conservative” platforms (they would need to be separated by name so there would be no confusion). I think this is critical in that I’m anti-abortion, I think its abhorrent, but there are some who believe abortion should be an option and would rather vote for a democrat than a republican simply for this issue rather but this same voter would prefer lower taxes and less regulations. What if we removed abortion as the hot button issue by allowing the slightly left leaning a MAGA platform the could in “good” conscience support? I’m not suggesting the platform support abortion, but rather opt for no expansion of current practices and no federal funding. It’s a State’s right issue. The second prong, the more “conservative” would have expanded stances on these “divisive” issues that, in all reality, have no chance of getting “solved” in the 2022-2024 Congressional session: especially if the exact make-up of the Congress remains.

I shop Kohl’s as well. I bought “My Pillow” there when it was on sale and I had the 30%.off coupon. I ONLY shop when I have the 30% off coupon, and only buy on sale items and the deep discounted items. I realize they are marking up prices considerably before “on sale” but I know competitive prices before I purchase. Example: Yankee candles are my favorite. I cannot remember the transition after a presidential election seeming so surreal and so tense. For lack of a better term, it seems like the calm before the storm.
Patriotic Americans like you and me watch, enraged that the evidence that an election was stolen and not one institution wanted to be bothered with it. We are wounded but have come to terms that the slimiest saboteurs in this whole disgusting affair are affiliated with the Republican Party who not only betrayed President Donald Trump, but also the 74 million people who voted for him. And to add insult to injury we read, listen or watch news reports about Biden calling for unity for the cameras, yet vilifying these millions of Trump supporters as domestic terrorists, Nazis or white supremacists.
We have witnessed what looks like a full-blown fraud, complete with mass mail-in ballots with few safeguards, feckless politicians and bureaucrats, a social media blackout of President Trump and his supporters, the marginalization of conservatives, and a soul-less news media that long ago surrendered its honor like a harlot.
Here, one day before the inauguration of a demonstrably corrupt and senile figurehead, we sit, wondering how we will resist the ever-growing radicalism that has already shown itself. We ask what will happen to our children and grandchildren if this is not stopped? And we silently ask what the personal and professional risks we are willing to endure to save this country and our families?
These are questions we never asked ourselves in the aftermath of past presidential elections and it is downright unsettling. The America we have grown up with and loved is actually at risk of becoming a thing of the past.

Ladies and gentlemen if we are to engage this crisis we must first define it. I gave seven years of my life to the Military as an officer. I swore an oath directly to the Constitution (enlistment oath puts superior officers in between the soldier and the constitution). I say this to point to my love for the Constitution we have lived under. I argue that the following defines the problem.
As of tomorrow, with the “swearing in” of Joe Biden, we are no longer a constitutional republic. I am not sure if we will even necessarily be a republic. We will basically transform into an oligarchy. This is key because our enemy stopped following the Constitution long ago and simply decided this was the time to be honest about it. If we are to fight what has happened we cannot be encumbered by rules the enemy does not follow.
Second, the primary disagreement in this nation is not one of forms. It is one of foundation. The progressive movement has always elevated the “superman” above everything else. God does not have a place in the progressive movement. This matters because it means that the enemy has no moral restrictions upon their actions. We must have moral restriction, but we need to reevaluate what those restrictions are in light of the fact we become an oligarchy tomorrow.
Thirdly, we are at war. We have been at war since perhaps Woodrow Wilson. It has been a slow build up. But now the enemy has breached the gates and is pillaging the city. We stood by for generations watching, trading liberty for comfort. If we are to see victory in this war, we must start treating it as such. Over the past four years I have learned that we have been presented a false choice for years prior to the election of President Trump.
I liken the experience to a journey in a train.
Each election cycle we were presented with a new train car to travel in with an “R” or a “D” on its side. Each with shades drawn over the windows. Each car getting closer to the engine. Some cars were old, some new…some fancy, some rustic…some bumpy, some gliding along. We were distracted by the bobbles or the spartan like appearance of each train car. The free delicious meals or the expensive horrible ones. All designed to keep us from looking out the window of the train car headed to the same destination.
Then, one glorious morning a new conductor appeared and opened the shades on the windows to reveal our actual destination.
Awakened and disturbed we implored the conductor to notify the engineers of state that were on our side. The career party politicians and federal employees just kept feeding the engine with coal, hastening our journey with the appearance of solving the problem. The trains speakers kept updating us on the progress of the engineers and how stoked the coal was. Meanwhile, outside no new track was laid and we kept going along.
I am hoping that we realize that what we need is a brakeman in the form of a new party to halt the train entirely so that we can get off a train with only “R” and “D” cars before our final destination. We can watch from afar as that old train rides off into the sunset and off a cliff with all of the old engineers and staff on board -while we work to lay our own tracks that are spiked with patriots, along rails of term limits, bolstered by ties that are not funded by P.A.C.s, and coal that is not mined overseas.
