Seneca, Texas tried to sue the five states for the way they conducted their elections. SCOTUS did not give them standing along with the other states.
If proof of fraudulent voting in those states is proved, their certification is a fraud as well.
Can states sue again for the certification of a fraud by those states? Can we sue Congress (Mr. Pence) for accepting votes and electors that were fraudulently certified?

I believe the only thing that will tip the kettle (?) is something really major and/or tragic to the right figure or group (beloved, international) that is a direct result of the ‘cover’, a direct result of the ineptitude/bias/partisanship of the swamp. Short of that, and I am not sure I could think of an example, or want to, I think the ship has sailed. I was hopeful President Trump had the brass to expose enough to get some corrected; but the resistance, distractions, and positive efforts elsewhere (MAGA) limited what he accomplished.

I believe Seneca’s comment addresses the broader govt corruption, even beyond this election. Is there any information Trump could declassify that would effect any consequences: more damaging evidence on spying, Benghazi, foreign kowtowing, FISA abuse, …. whatever might have been done that is now hid. I know a first responder who took the vaccine and then tested positive for COVID. Can’t go back to work for 2 weeks. He called the CDC and they told him he must have had the virus before taking the vaccine. He knows that’s a lie because first responders are tested constantly.
I declined the vaccine several weeks ago ……..because reasons (some having to do with what Ausonius touched on). I work in a 24/7 care facility (in patient mental health) and have some interaction with patients but not much at this time.
We are tested every week.
Just thought I would report, today – to my amazement – I am positive for COVID.
Started with a headache this past Sunday and chills – I’m susceptible to sinus infections and felt sure that’s what it was – tested Tuesday (at work), went to walk in Tuesday for sinuses – sinuses inflamed but not infected, given antibiotics and the usual instructions.
Heard today from Nursing Supervisor result of test – positive – surprised!
Don’t feel well obviously but no worse than usual similar conditions (such as sinus) – thankfully! Taste and smell intact. Never had a temperature.
But still glad I did not take the vaccine – I’ll have natural immunity instead!

So this year the FDA told the companies that they could bypass those animal studies and use the humans instead.

I hope this isn’t too off topic for the Presidential thread; however, given that I’m facing decisions driven by presidential affairs, I think it fits.
After I returned from the **peaceful** rally in D.C. and then watched the media turn it into the burning of the Reichstag, I decided that I must move out of the northeast soon. My desire would be to move to a place with many true conservatives, and I always define conservatives as those who are driven to conserve liberty. Secondly, I’m looking to join a deep, rather than shallow Christian community. Thirdly, as one who is familiar with history, I want to get far from the east coast. In the 1930’s many Jews correctly read the writing on the wall only to move off to France. I want to move far away and avoid states that may turn purple or blue.
On my short list I put Wyoming, South Dakota, West Virginia, Montana, Alabama and Mississippi. I love the mountains and am currently looking at Cody, WY and have begun looking at houses there. Then, with yesterday’s vote, I’m wondering if I want to be in the state that spawned the Cheney’s?
That said, what do folks think of Wyoming or Cody in particular? Any other suggestions? Before the end of January, I will make a trip to scout the ground somewhere, but I want to pick a good first destination to scout.

Wyoming has brutal winters so be prepared for that. I-80 closes down multiple times every winter due to snow.
You might put Tennessee on your list. Lots of counties there voted 80% or more for President Trump and the weather is better than Wyoming.
Tennessee does not have state taxes either, I don’t believe. I am KY Lexington area, and most of the people are conservative, Bible Belt people. 6% state taxes. Currently a rapid dim Governor, but most of our state government are Republican.

Anyway, check the CITY COUNCIL out for the MAKE-UP of it… That will tell you ifff (if and only if) it is safe to move there…Personal experience…Live in one of the MOST conservative enclaves in Florida…Also, don’t follow the herd…Make up your own mind of where you want to live…Alabama is mostly red-neck except around the BIG cities…
Me personally, IF I was to do this again…pick some place out in the boondocks and build your own house…well worth it…have done it 2x’s!!! and GOOD LUCK!!!

You could also consider a driving tour that includes WY, ID, MT … If you are considering Cody, going west will get you through Yellowstone and into ID then north into MT. That whole region is lovely, but they are in a localized snowbelt. Ranch country. Talk to the locals. Best of luck.
Cody is often the warmest location in Wyoming. It’s in a rain shadow, so very little snow. It can be very windy, however. Politics are probably to your liking. People are very friendly. I like it there.
South Dakota also has challenging winters. Californians tried it and left after a year or so.

People live in Cody or other similar towns in WY, Montana,or SD for the lifestyle. Winters are usually brutal, unles you love to ski or snowmobile. I lived in SW Wyoming south of Jackson Hole for 18 months. SW Wy is Mormon country (95%), but I got along with them fine. Real estate is usually higher than average because unless you are a rancher, most towns like Cody are summer tourist towns. The summers are gorgeous, and ample opportunity for fishing, hiking, etc., but you are really out in the middle of nowhere
If I was to live in South Dakota, I would live near Rapid City because I love the Black Hills area It too is mostly tourist because of the Monument and the caves (Wind and Jewell) I worked a lot of wells south of Rapid City (consulting geologist), and liked the area well.
Tennessee is where I would probably go if I had to move. Stay away from Nashville and Memphis, and Knoxville is getting sketchy. I would head for N Central TN in Fentress County. Nice area with some great fishing, hiking, golfing and pretty conservative locals. It has some big hills and hollers. This is where Sergeant York was born and raised. More moderate climate.
Most of Wyoming is barren, wind-swept nothingness. We joke in Colorado that their state tree is a snow-fence. But I know three native Wyoming people and they love it–going back many times a year to vacation and see family. Great fishing. Great hiking. Great water.
Wyoming is windy. So is Eastern Colorado. I have 50 mile an hour wind gusts right now in the front and back of the house. Guy who built it must have been a moron.

Just got off the phone with a very nice lady in my Florida Rep. Daniel Webster’ s office. A guy My wife and I voted for multiple times and campaigned for aggressively. Turns out He was one of four Republican heroes who were so upset by current events that they lost the ability to decide really easy questions. Am I loyal to the man who’s coattails I rode to victory on or do I reveal my true rat nature? He turned out to be the biggest rat within 300 square miles. I used to support Target, too, because I’m originally from Minneapolis and they are a Minneapolis company. I’m glad I read Scott Adams’ blog back when he maintained that (prior to his video stuff). He had a couple great articles that I’ve kept in mind ever since – people who are in cognitive dissonance find self-confirming things in a lot of places, that they’ll seize on ever slimmer threads to keep the whole thing together, and that when it does jar loose enough there’s a period of serious realignment. Between that, and the general stages of grief there are quite a few folks that had a significantly different view of their world just a few months ago.
Over time, people will hit their jarring moments and shake free – each time a prophesied date or event or action doesn’t come to pass, more people ‘snap out of it’ and start coming back to their senses. In time they’ll wind down (I hope!) and more rationality will prevail, but for now just be gentle with them, remember they’re our fellow beings, and skim past the wilder stuff.
So today we’ve had posters on CTH that (1) CTH is too doom-and-gloom, and (2) there is too much hope.
