To be honest, I never expected the National Guard to be so chubby.
But I assume different states have different standards for their National Guard.
If they are there to guard, then why are they just laying around, checking out thier phone, guns leaned against the wall.. Those are pics I have seen. I have yet to see any of them actually ON GUARD.

Nope, there would have been pictures across the MSM of “vigilant troops” protecting congress. There was nobody on watch, there are unsecured weapons laying on the floor, nobody at least keeping a rotating watch over the sleeping troops, nobody on the radio prepared to wake the troops, ….. this is a purely embarrassing BS photo shot for the utterly uneducated.
Anybody with even a smidgen of actual military tactical and leadership competence knows this picture is totally wrong and that there are NO troops “on watch outside”. There is allot WRONG with this picture before even getting into the political angle.
You need the military when you steal an election from a popular President and the people know it.
I thought the Democrats were suppose to be worried about Covid yet they have hundreds of National Guard troops sleeping, sitting, and walking around the Capitol Building without staying 6 feet apart from each other.

When I was in some 30 years ago, National Guardsmen had to maintain the same fitness and weight standards as Regular Army
Of course that may have changed over the years as we, as a society, have transitioned to a more sedentary workforce. I know the Combat Infantry unit I was in was made up largely of “country boys” who were naturally fit based on their activity level and had physical jobs
Plus, being in your early twenties and thirties, you metabolism was quite different as well
From what I can see in those pics, almost all of those Joes are wearing multiple layers of clothing. Besides the standard t-shirt and blouse, I can see at least 2 that have thermals under their blouse. They don’t look any different to me than any AD Soldiers I’ve seen.
What I don’t see is a lot of patches on their right shoulders. There are two in the picture above, but those are becoming rare again since most of those that deployed to active hot spots have retired or gotten out.
And when you see a picture of Joes lying around sleeping, think bigger. We have no idea what happened before or after these photos were taken. Had they been up 24 hours prior to this photo, mustering from all over the place to stand in line to get on busses to get to this point? Was their unit then supposed to get up in 20 minutes to go stand guard somewhere on a rotation schedule? They weren’t going to be able to line up cots or chairs for these troops, all dress right dressed like a Civil War bivouac.

Is this not yet another instance of rush to judgement? I thought we had learned after “the Cambridge police acted stupidly” or “hands up don’t shoot”, that it’s really important to get the whole story before doing permanent harm. Irresponsible journalism and social media feed this knee jerk reaction where people respond to the very first videos/interpretation fed to them. I suppose it’s part of human nature, but isn’t this why we have courts and call in witnesses and, where appropriate, use–heaven forbid!–science (forensic evidence)? This is very sad and just disgusting that our country is treating our military this way. Gitmo prisoners are treated better than this. This sickens me to no end. How the rest of the world must be laughing at us right now.

It has been said that with 15-20K National Guard troops in DC, there is not enough hotel rooms, and some were told to sack out in the Capital.
I thought the same thing when I first saw this photo. Ironically twitter dummies were complaining they were sleeping on the job! Clueless.
And btw, Marines sent to Iraq under W weren’t given proper armored vehicles and used flak jackets to hang on Humvee doors to protect themselves and in some cases got only one MRE (maybe 2 sometimes) on guard duty. This is a first hand account from a family member. RINOs treat out military terribly while using them to benefit financially and politically.

Americans have enough money to make their lives easier. I do not believe that the majority of them will cut ties with Amazon. I just hope enough will.
The hardest parts of cutting Amazon for me are my Kindle library, the streaming music, and the accessibility of some movies or shows when the kids are bored. I’ve canceled Prime and Music Unlimited, but I haven’t gotten to work “de-Kindling” yet. I’ve been busy de-Googling and securing things. Some links below that might guide others.

One of the best investments you can make, especially if you have kids is to buy REAL BOOKS. Most libraries are throwing away their books as Google takes over. I have found some of the most magnificent BOOKS on every topic in the library’s garbage.
BOOKS cannot be electronically altered like they can if they’re on Kindle. I have history books from the 1930s that are incredible, not to mention my art book collection.
One of the most important things that ALL of us can do is to collect and save books, to start our own libraries. Books will be with us long after Kindle, etc.
one thing I always wanted in my home was a library. I have so many books they are double stacked on the shelves and I need another library. My son kept telling me how I would love Kindle, but I resisted for a time…then I started getting Kindle books. I then realized I had decreased my reading habits. If I had the notebook in hand I was traveling the internet. Collecting electronic books and not reading them. Lots of books being touted and sold cheap or free are awful.
i missed turning pages. I missed searching for first editions and browsing used book stores. I have so many books rescued from a local dumpster, my treasure and someone else’s trash. I raised to value a book and I could never understand the prolific reader who threw away so many books. Now…if I try to rescue something at the dump, I can be charged for breaking the law.

I used to carry a book evrhehere I went and now I’m glued to my phone. It’s not good. Social medial is retiring the Neural pathways of adults just as it is with children shortening our attention, concentration and decreasing our critical thinking skills.
JJ- you are 100% correct. Our brains are being re-programmed to be more like drug addicts. That is, we need more and more dopamine for our neural pathways and instant gratification. A good read from a real book boosts you serenity with Serotonin.
Always had a book with me as well. Would carry to work for reading at lunchtime, must – have while waiting for a doctor’s visit – b/4 Covid, and in any other situation where there was an opportunity to get some reading in.
Now, sometimes the book goes with me, sometimes not – but when it does not and a reading opportunity presents itself, I’m on the Treehouse via my phone. 🙂

Seneca and Trump Patriot – with you on the books – have so many that I would need several libraries in my home – have always been an avid reader and have more than I can even remember at this point stored in boxes and bins.
Resisted E books for some of the same reasons you both have mentioned but did finally purchase a B & N Nook – has advantages such as when traveling offers built in light (all the book clamp lights and whatnot never seem to work out well for me).
But nothing like holding and reading a real book and browsing book stores – I get lost in those. 🙂

I have a large room with wall to wall and ceiling to floor shelves full (overly) with books.
I did donate 600 a few years ago as I really had no room.
I love the smell of paper and ink and the tactile feel of turning pages.☺️
My wife and I are in different camps. We both are active readers, she prefers the holding and smell of real books and she has a vast library. Me, although for my scientific and technical books I buy real books, but for my fiction I love my Nook, and love that I can sit in my chair with low light and read. It seems to curtail eye strain too.
If your local library is fairly sophisticated, you can get and amazing about of movies, audio books, ebooks, magazines – digitally, for ‘free.’ Check your local options… 🙂
If your library doesn’t have a book you want to read, they can put in a request to some other library to get it for you. Takes awhile, sometimes – esp. if that book is coming from a university or even from another state.
I joined my county libraries with something called overdrive. Then I use a app called Libby that lets you borrow books or audiobooks with my library card.

Absolutely agree, JC1974. It took me a while to get used to Kindle. I still prefer the feel of a book in my hand and flipping real pages. The search function, though, is really nice for non-fiction books. I like the foreign language selection, as well, and the ability to easily translate words I don’t know. It’s a good product, particularly when traveling.* Amazon has already made money off of me with the Kindle device, but I can download ebooks from my local library and other sources. (*Story: Not so long ago I was camping at the half-way point on the Appalachian Trail. A young through hiker stopped to chat. We asked him what he had in his backpack that most other hikers don’t. He said, “Books.” In fact, he had TEN books in his backpack. That’s a lot of weight. Needless to say, he was very fit.)

Never had a Prime account and hardly ever buy anything on Amazon. Also boycotting Barnes and Nobles. Went into my local B and N before Christmas to look for books for my Granddaughter. First thing I noticed was the “Best Sellers” section were all Dem propaganda books – Obama, Black Lives Matter, Michelle Obama, Joe Biden, etc. Walked out vowing never to give B and B another dime.
Buy old books- especially one with illustrations. The older the better.

I live now in the NE and attitudes here are so different. In my church, I would estimate that 75-80 % have been and still are Trump haters and are relieved that Biden ‘won’. It is disheartening to be part of this congregation and certainly adds to the discord i feel all about me. Chilling.

I hear you, BudKlatsch. I do not think folks support Biden so much as they hate Trump. I try to understand what people despise so much about the President. Mind you, I haven’t immersed myself in that steady trickle of anti-Trump “news” that MSM and NPR offer. I can only imagine the dried up kernel of kindness that lives in a person who attacks our gracious FLOTUS–(Hey, will we now have a FGOTUS? Is that pronounced F GOAT US?)–and demeans any positive accomplishment that has been made by this administration. They are essentially the crowd casting stones at a victim until he is dead. I pity them and offer prayers for them.
There are times when I wonder how to keep my head screwed on squarely when the mob around me is crazy. (Reminds me of the movie Roi de Coeur/King of Hearts where the only “sane” folks are in the insane asylum.) But Our Lord is the author of Truth. I find myself drawn more and more to Sacred Scripture, prayer, thoughtful commentary (I’m currently reading Veritatis Splendor) and so forth. Do you know the song How Can I Keep from Singing: “What though the tempest round me roar, I know the truth, it liveth….Since Love is Lord of heaven and earth, how can I keep from singing?”

I read that the campaign knew there might be fraud and that Brad Parscale organized a plan to have lawyers at each polling place — but when he was fired they threw out his plan. I have wondered if there was an enemy within the campaign itself — it was odd for him to be highly attributed for winning the first time, then fired during the second campaign.
I have wondered about Brad Parscale, as well. He was smart and effective in the first campaign and then “zap” he’s gone and his reputation destroyed.

What if Pascale was loyal, had a plan, and traitors had Trump’s ear? What if Trump was disloyal to Parscale and Brad could not get a meeting with his boss? What if that was the straw that broke Pascales back. I have no idea what really happened. What I do know is that Parscale was a key figure in the election and in the past 4 years, someone has managed to convince Trump to hire traitors and fire those who were loyal.

Most of what happened is a lot of people sat back thinking one man, President Trump, awesome and effective as he has been, could do it all. Some didn’t volunteer, some didn’t vote, lots didn’t protest the ballot harvesting mail in schemes. For years almost no one has held politicians accountable.
We did this, Americans. When we refused to be involved, active, responsible citizens who did a lot more than just vote. We refused to prepare ourselves to logically discuss politics and be prepared to counter opinions with facts, calmly. When we let liberal factions of the local Republican Party run the polling process and voting precincts. When we haven’t involved ourselves in state politics at the operational level. When we refuse to stay well informed of all that is really going on.
We continue the process when we believe in things other than reality and refuse to question what is happening now.

Huh? Just one man? He is President of the USA and so far has refused to his power to drain the swamp. He refused Sidney Powell’s request to declare her special counsel for example. This would have given us not even much more evidence but would have at a minimum held people involved in election fraud criminally liable. The homeless crisis and defunding the police have gone hand in hand in exploding crime and it’s not just Austin it’s across the country, I believe by design.

GOP leadership at the state level is what allowed fraudulent elections to be certified.
We tried to take the over GOPe utilizing the Primary system and it doesn’t work. We can’t seem to get a critical mass of MAGA and the ones that do manage to get in are quickly marginalized if they don’t follow the orders of the GOPe leadership which is corrupt to its core. Worse, over time many MAGA reps eventually become corrupted themselves and thus part of the GOPe.
We need a third party that will replace the GOPe from the inside yet remains outside of its system of control. We run MAGA (both State and National) where we can win a three way race (MAGA, GOPe, Dem). We run a MAGA-GOPe where we can win the GOPe Primary and ‘also’ win the General. PDJT used this to path to get into office. We hold our nose and vote GOPe until we have the MAGA numbers to do the above.
In order of importance to this new party. First we must fix and secure the voting systems in the 29 States we still have majority control (GOPe+Patriot). Second we utilize the strategy above leaving in place GOPe we can’t yet flip as doorstops against the Communists as MAGA builds strength. Third we focus on MAGA swing districts where the strategy above will work if we can just free a critical mass of voters from the uniparty media matrix mind control.
MAGA also votes with GOPe when it ‘aligns’ with MAGA so that the balance of power remains the same until we are strong enough to vanquish the GOPe and become a true America First alternative to what remains of the America Last uniparty.

None of this has been corroborated anywhere else. Even though, Gina Haspel has not made any public appearances since November 10, 2020. There are no reports of Gina being fired that I am aware of.
Parkes was among the first to report that Trump had invoked the Insurrection Act. Again, this has not been corroborated. Monkey Werx, the flight analyst also initially reported that he had sources saying the Insurrection Act was invoked. But a day later, he retracted this claim and apologized, saying that he might have gotten some bad information.
So, Parkes’ track record is not good. When he makes a claim, don’t believe it right away until there is further corroboration, and certainly don’t repeat those claims.

Curious about folks switching voter preference from Republican to unaffiliated. Are the numbers of party affiliation public info? Not the actual person, but the numbers? And how current are the numbers? If there is an obvious weekly GOP drop in locations, that might be a head turner/eye opener to local GOPe head dudes. If we could pull a FOX viewership drop on the GOP, that might nudge the needle a bit. I haven’t changed yet due to currently living away from home and I also was thinking of keeping so I can get mailings and send back “colorful” comments. But, if GOP voter rolls noticeably plummet, I might consider switching.

AT like most web sites that allow commenting use a 3rd party moderators, mostly based on algorithms. That is why Sundance made the decision not to use them, and use inhouse mods…which are the best.
If I remember correctly, part of the purpose behind the Dissenter browser produced by Gab was to allow comments about pages that didn’t allow comments themselves. It was a response to YouTube disabling comments on so many videos. Could using that browser allow people to comment on AT articles in the same way? That way AT isn’t responsible and wouldn’t really even know.

If I were receiving a paycheck from an employer today, I would immediately request to change my W4 Withholding to the highest possible number in order for no taxes to be taken out. Building an effective national party in 22 months is probably impossible. Just getting on the ballot in every Congressional District and every state will absorb vast amounts of time, energy, and money. Those resources cannot be used elsewhere.

The 29 (GOPe+Patriot) majority States are the only ones where we have a chance of putting place and honest election system. We must at least push for this now for if we go into 2022 with what is place we lose even these States to the Communist voting system. At which point no ballot box based strategy will work.
I’ve been an Independent for twenty years or so. Just before the next election I’m going to join the Republican Party simply so I can vote against the incumbent (in Pennsylvania, Independents cannot vote in the primary) and then quit the party. Just like they quit on us.

To make it simple, having us go off in a huff and put our energies into a new political party would be the Uniparty’s dream come true. While we’re standing outside of shopping malls getting signatures to get on ballots, they’d be laughing their asses off.
I’ll go one step further. Not only should we complete a hostile take-over of the Republican party, I think we can get MAGA candidates in the Democrat party as well. We know there are a lot of disaffected democrats, and many of them have already crossed over to vote for President Trump. If we can field enough MAGA candidates to run in the 2022 House races in both Republican and Democrat primaries, it just might be possible to establish a MAGA majority in the House comprised of both Democrats and Republicans. IMO…that’s the quickest solution to fix things, and a quick solution is needed because our nation is running out of time.

While Watching today’s weather report and having my first cup of coffee there was a commercial asking for donations to “black Lives Matter”.
The commercial ended with this:
“All lives can’t Matter, Until all Black lives Matter.”
I’m not sure why, but I find this offensive.
I don’t know why I am supposed to be concerned about a persons color.
I don’t how to tell if a person is “black”, is it polite to ask?

He apparently is a Capitol Hill Police and was said to have been the one who allowed Scalise to get shot. He wears a bracelet with large white beads and it looked like it matched the shooters. I think his first name was Daniel? Capitol Hill Police is a Patronage position, meaning this guy was hired on the recommendation of a Senator or House Rep.

Like it, or not, social media has become an integral part of society. Thinking conservatives can just ‘go back to the old days’ is ignorant at best. And suicide, at worst…
Social media has become a public UTILITY. Imagine if the town you live in refused you water, or electricity, based in political affiliation?
An analogy:
Say you’re a liberal residing in a red county, and your lights go out because you, or someone in your household was accused of “wrong speak”. No due process, just ‘SERVICE DENIED’. Global financers, and the federal government ignored, allowed and actively participated to eliminate any competition. This ensured a fascist styled monopoly.
No consumer or privacy protections imposed on user agreements (“click “I Agree” without reading) allowing BigTech to collect, share, sell and own, not only the application data but any other data they want off of the users phone/computer.
The industry willingly walked away from all open standards normally promoted to grow an industry. This ensured users could never own their own data, user could not communicate with users on other aps and user had no alternatives.
At 3:47 notice the black glove with white on it. Also note that horn guy has black glove with white on it. I am thinking that a white tag is an indicator.
From time to time strange critters crawl out of the woodwork to proclaim the end of the world and when it doesn’t happen concoct a convoluted explanation for why it didn’t happen.
So it is with these strange beings who are positing that there is a massive movement underway to right many wrongs as we transition to the next term of PDJT next week. I’ve bookmarked a couple sites out of morbid curiosity to see how they handle it when Beijing Biden gets sworn in and nothing happens … no mass arrests for the alleged criminals … no culmination of a huge plan decades in the making to restore our Republic … the only real drama in the Capital District will be how long before his cognitive decline is so bad that Beijing Biden has to be put out to pasture and Harris takes the reins.
The future will be what it is … will PDJT spearhead a movement to a new political party or, better yet, will he continue on within the GOP framework. That’s what we have to look forward to; that, and seeing how quickly Biden wrecks the economy.

Cut everything, cut all ABC agencies that aren’t Constitutional and put us back on the gold standard.

Nope. Convention of States is a trap. The instant such a convention convenes the entire US Constitution, amendments and all, is essentially null and void and they can create anything they want. Several hundred-page Communist “Constitutions” are already written for such a foolish moment.
