We had hopes for it when it first launched but the first couple of reports turned us off. Still today if don’t change the channel soon enough and WGN comes on, we are still disappointed. We won’t watch.

A chameleon will even respond “wow, that’s exactly what I was thinking!” or “you are reading my mind!” in the attempt to create a sense of shared ground with their target.

They really don’t seem to have a true self; they simply “mirror” the words/beliefs/attitudes of those around them, reflecting back what they believe those present want to see and hear.
This is a pathology, and these people are very, very convincing. If confronted directly with proof of their chameleon behavior, they will become very angry and/or deny it til the cows come home.

I think Hannity is street smart but his intellectual capacity isn’t his strong suit. he’s a pretty face and knack for talking to the low-info people and giving them some familiar narratives that they can grasp…and repeating buzzwords and phrases frequently to drive them home (like in a radio commercial). IMHO that’s how he became popular – he found a niche.
Anyone who has listened to Hannity over the years (I stopped a year or two back) realizes that he is no smarter nor any more articulate or analytical than he was when he began years ago.

Rush Limbaugh does have a schtick, with his stock phrases like “for those in Rio Linda,” or “Feminazi.” In this regard, Hannity also has a schtick with constant word combinations that appeal to Conservatives.
But, Rush does a better job of bonding with his audience than Hannity, and he also goes deeper in analyzing the issues, and asking critical questions. Rush tends to introduce more new information than Hannity.
Unfortunately for Rush, his performance has slipped lately due to his fight against cancer. He is only at work about half the time, and so he does not get as deeply involved with the issues as he used to. This is tragic, and those of us who have followed Rush understand. We hang on his every word now, because we don’t know whether it will be the last time we hear him live.
Rush had (and has!) a great sense of humor and would do these amazingly funny parodies in the early days.

Watching the clip of the shooting, it seems so bizarre that no one, not even those protesters standing right near Ashli as she was shot, seemed the least bit scared or panicky for their own safety. You hear shouts of “Shots fired!” but no one even seems horrified or outraged that a protester has been gunned down.
If I heard a close range shot and saw someone collapse, my initial reflex would be self-preservation, and to duck or hit the floor in case there were more shots. The cops behind her didn’t seem fazed — yet they couldn’t even see who had fired the shot. There was no sense of manic urgency to make sure the location was safe, the gunman located, or even to administer first aid. Sorry, but something just seems really “off” about it.

This was my first rally and protest (for obvious reasons) but I am so thankful I had the opportunity to go. I was at the Capital around 2:30. The area was filled with peaceful protesters. I didn’t see any violent people just great patriots. I did see alot of police cars and unmarked white vans go by when we were walking towards the capital.

Family was out yesterday, right before noon (11:56) we were stuck in a line of traffic waiting for a whole bunch of various types of Army vehicles leaving the local National Guard armory/Army Recruiting station to pull out into the two-lane road. Never seen anything mobilized from that facility before – in fact it’s usually silent as a grave. Also noticed that they had repaired their sign – it was knocked down some months ago (likely an accident; it’s a heavy manufacturing/warehouse road and there’s semis through there all the time.) Not only was it repaired, but the gray weathered bricks had been matched exactly and the original sign declaring the name looked exactly the same – old, weathered, exactly the same font. It was uncanny, since the whole thing had been utterly destroyed. It looked neither repaired nor new – it was like it had never been damaged.

It was the congressional members in the Capitol who were engaged in criminal activity, by pushing a fraudulent election and an illegitimate president upon the masses. Protestors mearly entered the building they own, a PUBLIC building, to try and stop it. However it should have never gone to any violence, and there were Antifa embedded within who were clearly the aggressors as can be seen in Rudy’s video on the subject. The fact that the media is just hellbent on using this to paint Trump supporters as domestic terrorists just proves they are just projecting. Media complex is the enemy of the people. They were active participants in pushing the fraud election.
This is the truth, no matter how outrageous it seems.
It provided Congress the pretense they desperately wanted. “Top down, bottom up.”
And, as was pointed out, congress has protesters protesting in the halls and offices regularly for different reasons.
