I posted a message on two conservative FB activist groups here in Utah to do a “stop the steal”/”fight for Trump” rally at our local Lee and Romney offices on Jan 6. I assume their offices will be closed on a Saturday but it’s very close to the busiest street in town so if we get a group together we might get some news coverage. So far got only one volunteer but traffic on both sites is slow due to Christmas. Will try again.

My sister and niece gave blood the other day. They were asked if either had the WuFlu or if either received the Pfizer vaccine. My niece had the WuFlu a few weeks ago. They were told that it was OK to give blood after having the WuFlu but not after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.
They were then told it was because the vaccine was genetically engineered. Apparently if you received the Moderna vaccine you are still able to donate your blood/plasma because it is derived from an attenuated virus.
Just think of the disruption that is set to occur to our national blood bank system. Why isn’t this in the news?!!!
I am the “golden child” of donors (O-) and I went to give blood in the spring because all of the hospitals were wailing about their supplies being low. My husband, who is A+ decided he would go in at the same time…took two weeks to even get an appointment because they were following such strict protocols about the number of people allowed in at one time. They called me THE NIGHT BEFORE and said they had to cancel my appointment because my husband (of 35 years) and I could not be in the building at the same time? So they canceled ME, who is the universal donor, but kept his appointment because his first name comes before mine in the alphabet?!!!!!
I told them to cancel BOTH appointments and to never call either one of us again!

I am sorry if this question has already been asked and answered but I haven’t seen it so am hoping someone knows…since the President designated the 24th as a Federal Holiday (this year only) as well as the 25th, will the four day break allow him to make a recess appointment? Since we know Mitch isn’t going to allow the Senate to go into recess and NOT ONE SINGLE Senator will challenge him on it!!
Congress did not formally recess. So the answer is no.
The Senate has never been in “Recess” for the entirety of Trump’s Term; I have never heard McConnell’s explanation as to why he was doing such a thing to his own Party’s President. Did he ever offer an explanation?
Oh, I know that…and I am furious that all of the Senators who have “talked the talk” for the past two years have thus far refused to “walk the walk” and object! And yes, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Josh Hawley, Lindsey Graham, Marco Rubio, I AM looking at you!!
