Yes, I will be there with several family members. At first I made flight and hotel reservations as I was going alone. I would not hesitate to go alone because DC will be filled with more like us.
We will be there Tu-Th staying near National Mall. Two weeks ago I was in DC for the JerichoMarch prayer rally and stayed at the Embassy Suites Convention Center, nightly rate was under $100. Many of us will be there so please join us. Join President Trump

I have two or three with me but driving into Alexandria to take the Metro from the King Street station. I havre never driven into DC without getting lost at least once. I like the safety in numbers thinking too. We have a suite with a kitchen for two nights in case there are no open restaurants. We are shut down in New Mexico, can just get takeout.
How safe will metro be that day?
Most comments about the Metro say all areas except in the NE DC area are OK for the Daylight hours. Arlington and Alexandria area are good.
IF the Mayor doesn’t shut the Metro down for “scheduled maintained”.

As long as you stay out of SE and NE DC the city is very safe. There are busy metro stops where the homeless gather outside for handouts, but daytime in DC is very safe for a city. A lot of it – the parts with restaurants and bars is safe after dark.
Capitol Hill itself has a lot of crime if you wander away from the government buildings. Muggings, prostitution, burglary, car theft.
Yeah ,and if you get lost in DC ,noone living there can give you directions.
Restaurants are open in VA. DC restaurants are outside dining still I think.

I decided after 2016 that I was not peeling any more people off the trees. It gets old. I am still recuperating from those lily-livers and their hysterics. It made for a much more peaceful and much less stressful 2019-2020 campaign season.

I am in full agreement. The establishment has ruined both parties. Now is the perfect time to bring a new one into being. I too, am a long time independent, mainly because I think political parties are unnecessary tools of greedy politicians and I usually just vote for the person I think will do the best job, not what party they belong to.
Most of the time I end up on the side of the repubs especially in the national elections and more and more over the last decade or so I have been a much further right of center conservative than ever before. As an independent however, I would welcome a party that I feel has the same outlook as I do on political views and would join. I would only stay though, if that new party kept the values and agenda that is best for America and supports the Constitution completely, is honest with the people who support it, reaches out to the people of America, finds good honest Conservative candidates and spends it’s support money very judiciously.
It is prime time right now for a new party, imo. I really hope that happens and that Pres. Trump is the catalyst for one and leads the way.

I think the telling point here is that this lawsuit is Eric Coomer ALONE vs defendants..
They are going to try to sever and prevent discovery from going into Dominion to say that it isn’t relevant to Coomer’s case. The delay in filing this also signifies that they spent some time cleaning things up. Records.

After reading the complaint, it looks to me a nuisance lawsuit as discovery will only be able to look into his personal computers and social media which will prove he actually said those things about the election. I don’t think Dominion wants any part of giving Lin Wood or Sidney discovery into the forensics of the software.

In reading through the complaint, it appears the only case he may have is against Oltmann. In my opinion, the case against the other defendants is quite lacking – lack of jurisdiction for starters for any non-Coloradan. For the other Coloradans, they should be protected (and case dismissed) in the aspect that they let the source (Oltmann) speak for himself and have clearly noted that is what they rely on. Coomer would need to prove that they knew Oltmann was lying to them and proceeded anyway. With Powell having a sworn affidavit from Oltmann, that’d be a tough task to prove against her.
While discovery could be interesting, I doubt it will make it that far for anyone other than for Oltmann, and that’s a maybe.

Question:
CDC data available for total deaths shows that as of week 50 of 2020 we arr up to 3,022,000 deaths.
With an average weekly death count around 60k this brings us to something like 3.2m deaths by the end of the year. This is in line with the “300k+” covid deaths narrative.
Ive been under the impression that deaths for 2020 were not actually up, but after getting into a debate about it yesterday and digging into the raw numbers of total deaths from 2015-2020 it appears I was wrong.
Is there any explanation for the 300k+ deaths above the average expected increase? Increases in total deaths per year have been pretty consistently around 1.5-2% for the past 10 years or so. 2020 saw around a 10% increase.
Other than claiming that the CDC is willfully inflating their total death data, the only conclusion I can come to is that we have actually experienced a large increase in deaths in 2020.
I’ve seen quite a few articles claiming deaths in 2020 are no higher than previous years.

It is more than just numbers. It is how the numbers are generated and all the actions taken by democrat run entities in the US drive those number of deaths. Up until recently an overlay of YOY total deaths in the USA were relatively constant from 2017/2018 thru YTD 2020.

I’m guessing that total “excess” deaths (numbers above what would normally be expected) were indeed up, but not as high as is being said, because deaths from other causes, e.g., flu, were down (I think those disappeared altogether) — a lot of those causes just got folded into the covid deaths.
There is no question but that deaths of people with other conditions were hastened, when they could have lived longer, so I’m not sympathetic with those who say, well, those people were going to die anyway! So, in sum, I think all of the covid-related deaths were tragic, and I know of people who died. So I am not intending to minimize those deaths when I say that I don’t believe that the total number was as high as is being said — but I am not going to far to say there was no above-normal increase at all.
That’s just what I think, without numbers at my fingertips — does anybody else know what sources to look at?
I’ve seen CDC links over the past several months that show the similarity to history that you mention. This story of excess deaths is the first I’ve seen.
I don’t have any numbers handy for you, but without a doubt we are seeing deaths resulting from the lockdowns. Cancer patients who had to dely treatment, missed screenings, missed diagnoses due to video doctor appointments, etc.
Suicides are up.
How do you quantify such deaths? We already know they will be counted as COVID, with a comorbidity of gunshot wounds due to grown men being caged up, etc.
Then there are the COVID deaths in the nursing homes.
Right in the beginning, tens of thousands were infected deliberately. They count as legitimate COVID deaths, but would they all have occurred if even the slightest steps had been taken to avoid exposing those people?
Some of the people initially claiming the “no excess deaths” have since walked it back somewhat.
There are a number of articles floating around that make a strong case that it is the lockdowns and “restrictions” (and the increased crime) as accounting for more deaths than the virus.

I have seen stats for total deaths from coved in my state.
The news readers DO say that there have been numbers added from past deaths that were re-‘coded’ as coved.
My thoughts are that these previous deaths were originally delineated in other categories, and when they got re-categorized as coved, the category they were originally delineated as never subtracted from the total, so that some of these re-categorized are being counted twice.
JMHO.
They changed the procedures for determining cause of death, in order to inflate the death count, which only scare the population and offers continued (fraudulent) justification for the lockdowns:

Also, the German Corona Investigative Committee found NO excess deaths in any nation (so they are simply recategorizing deaths from other causes as Covid)

Trying to locate the source, but I learned last night that in 2019, the definition of herd immunity was ever so slightly altered.

I read one the the posted articles by someone in the last day or two. The article had an ex-Pfizer exec and researcher talk about how, yes, the COVID-19 was a “novel” virus but it wasn’t a completely new virus genetically where it was 75%+ related to other coronaviruses. He stated, based on his expertise as a vaccine researcher, that probably 20%ish of the population was already immune to Covid-19 due to prior exposure to other coronaviruses (common cold, etc.).
This whole thing was a farce, I was ok with the 15-days to slow the spread (although I thought it was stupid) but it just keeps going: 30 extra days, where masks until vaccine, masks even after vaccines, a Covid-20). I don’t think President Trump thought the 15-days would be extended, they probably assured him that’s all it’ll take but then they worked against the President by having the media perpetuate fear to a point where he couldn’t simply cut it off. Pure evil.

Yes, I think he was bamboozled by his advisors and that’s why he agreed to extend the “14 days”…the “experts” probably assured him that if we took action early on it would stop the spread and since the press was going after him mercilessly for not “listening to the scientists” he went along with their guidelines, even though his gut told him not to! And his gut was right!! It was a trap from the beginning and we all knew it but the President was caught between a rock and a hard place because the media was determined to destroy him no matter what he did!

I think these kinds of appointments are done at year end anyway. So the appointee can start in January. Probly no meaning other than that.
It occurs to me how POTUS can expose the BS lies from Barr who tried to discredit the vote steal. Order immediately EVERYTHING that the DOJ and the FBI has done to investigate this fraud be delivered to the WH. Including all correspondece with Barr and anyone with FBI and DOJ about how this investigation was conducted.
