Of all the pols on the Hill, Barr is much higher IQ. He is a very bright guy and he’s aware of history. He also has grandchildren. From what I’ve read of him, he’s a family man.
I suspect that if you or I were held in a prison somewhere with him and we were free to express all we really thought, had nothing to lose, he’d say, “You have no idea how hard it is to turn it around, no idea at all. You have no idea how revealing one thing will win you a battle but set you up to lose the war.”
I’d answer, “Explain to me how your actions in any way make you feel America and your grandchildren and great grandchildren can escape the maniacal clutches of communist China when all we do is encourage American and other Western companies to do big business with them. Please explain that to me since I am concluding you really feel an obligation to your progeny to save this country, no matter how you yourself might have to pay a price.”
Because he IS bright I’d expect a complicated answer from him and I freely admit I have no idea what that answer is.
There is no answer. The man is a coward, paid off or incompetent.
He had a shot to be a hero, a legend. What did he accomplish? Nothing of substance when you take into consideration what was at stake.
I, like many, had high hopes for him.

He’s made too many constitutionalist, natural law-based speeches that he didn’t have to make, for which he lost political credit and furthered the divide within our nation, that put him square in our camp—for what reason? He came out of retirement for this, and will go back into retirement. He has nothing to gain, either way.
There was never any upside for him to put himself on record as a constitutionalist, and then not follow through when it was in his power to force the issue, or shine the light of truth on what he could not force.
If the private Barr has no defense for his (in)actions, then we’re left to wonder if there truly is some kind of mind-control at work in DC?

For those clambering for a Special Counsel should be glad that William Barr says no. As yourself when in history has a Special Counsel actually delivered real justice.
Special Counsels are nothing but the managing of a crime and hiding behind the investigation and waiting until the public has either forgotten about it, a new “shiny” outrage comes along or are bored with it. Thus they can redact and hide “because the investigation.” As we saw in the Russiagate debacle.
What is wanted are actual RICO investigations.

Yes, the President derives his power from the Constitution not only as Commander and Chief of the military, but he is the Chief executive of the Executive Branch and all the power of every cabinet member is derived through him. Rudy explained this on one of his broadcasts.

In order for her to occupy the position, she’d already have to have been approved by the Senate in another cabinet position. She’s not, of course, having never been in the Cabinet.
But magically should she be able to occupy the position, she’d have a few weeks to accomplish all that before she’s out of office.

Addendum: Durham was approved by the Senate to be US Attorney for the District of Connecticut in 2018, so Barr could appoint him SC without having to go to the Senate.
Same thing with Grenell – since he was first approved by the Senate to be ambassador to Germany, Trump could later move him into DNI without a second confirmation vote.

Personally, everything seems to be hanging by a thread. I think it would be wrong to underestimate Trump, but he is running out of options. McConnell has abandoned him, the SCOTUS has abandoned him, and the GOP governors have abandoned him. The DNI report on election interference was delayed, and the strongest lawsuits are languishing in legal limbo (it’s a disgrace). Trump is running with a barebones crew of loyalists who are hopelessly outnumbered and outgunned, and the rest are terrified of being blacklisted for life. Maybe some GOP senators will rebel against McConnell on January 6? Let’s hope Tommy Tuberville and Rand Paul pull through. Maybe Trump might invoke the Insurrection Act and expose the fraud by force? Maybe that might be too dangerous and spark a civil war.
In any case, I want people to remember just how close this country lurched to the brink of civil war. What happened over the past few decades, and especially the past five years, is NOT okay, to put it lightly. Whether he wins or loses, we shouldn’t ever forget. And it might help steel the resolve of other patriots at a time when they need to remember what’s at stake, so now is as good as a time as ever.

Last night I thought of a great way for us to show our support for our President, our country and our way of life, but it is not something everyone can do.
Two summers ago I was at a yard sale and heard someone close-by shooting a gun. I loved the sound and thought, ‘That is the sound of freedom.’ Then I heard the lady next to me mumble her disgust at the sound, and remembered all the mamby pamby liberals around me feign moral superiority over low-life hillbillies who own and keep guns.
My idea? On a planned date and time every patriot across the county will fire a shot — or many shots — and let the cause of freedom ring throughout our land.
Having a ‘Freedom Shoot’ would freak liberals out, and, if many patriots do it at the same time it will once again be a Shot heard around the world. I know in my little area it will sound like WWIII started!
There has to be a spark that lights the flame, and it has to start somewhere. I am going to contact a few Second Amendment sites and see if they’ll send out notices nation wide to do this!

Biden will not be President. Trump has a clear path to victory. It does not involve martial law, executive order, seizing voting machines etc. He just has to follow the constitutional process laid out for him by the founding fathers. He just has to get one Senator to challenge the electoral vote and I believe he does. This is also the cleanest path that side steps any claims of Trump being a dictator.

1. In the 6 states with clear fraud (AZ, NV, MI, WI, PA, GA) call, email, leave messages for EVERY state Republican legislator in the House and Senate.
2. Then, call, email, leave messages for EVERY Republican Senator and House of Rep in Congress ( you don’t have to be from your state to call others in other states – they represent all of us).
3. Get a short phone script, short email together and send it to ALL of them. When you are done, rinse and repeat. Keep doing this for the next TWO weeks! Don’t let up.
Politicians never do the ‘right’ thing, they respond to squeaky wheels! BE THE SQUEAKY WHEEL! The more pressure applied the more they will have to address it. OVERWHELM them with phone calls and emails!
This will NOT be settled in the courts – the State legislators need to take care of this crap – it’s their state/their fraudulent election. QUIT thinking the SC, et al will do something. The DOJ can’t do anything about this crap either, they move too slow & are corrupt.
