Gore, the Supreme Court said that the State Legislature’s power to select the manner for appointing electors is plenary; it may, if it chooses, select the Electors itself; and even after granting the franchise to the People to select the Electors, State Legislatures can resume the power at any time:

One would think given their duties under the Constitution in circumstances such as this, convening is a constitutional imperative not dependent on the state governor.
Correct, the State of GA cannot write a Constitutional provision in its state Constitution which overrides the plenary power of the State Legislature to fulfill its US Constitutional responsibilities.
IOW, the GA Legislature does not need Kemp to call them back into session. They can all show up at the State Capitol, introduce the necessary legislation, and pass it whether Kemp calls for it or not.
That’s why his “we should do a signature audit” thing is weak tea. First, he states that the SoS has all the power to order this, not him, so as long as the SoS refuses, Kemp doesn’t have to do anything and can blame the SoS. Then, he refuses to call a special legislative emergency session. This let’s him sort of pass the buck to the Legislature by giving them top cover to not do anything.
You can see how they’re playing us. “Oh, we can’t get an audit unless the SOS calls for one, nothing I can do! Oh, the Legislature maybe could do something, but that mean old Governor won’t call us back into session! Oh, I don’t want to call a special session because I want the SOS to follow the law.” and round and round we go.
GA Republicans need to destroy these people.

Constitution Expert/Lawyer yesterday testified to the Georgia Legislature committee that because their duties for appointing electors was plenary (absolute and trumps any state laws) that they can and should call themselves into session even though GA constitution says that they governor is the only one who can do so.
He said that the US Constitution is supreme over the GA constituition. Of course, many of them still hemmed and hawed.

Around page 43, the analyst makes the point in technical terms that I’ve been making in common sense terms: the reason why there are paper ballots backing up the fraud is that in the dead of night the algorithm started spitting out massive vote dumps for Biden…and paper ballots had to be printed and distributed in the necessary quantities to “disprove” the fraud.
This is why Democrats keep falling back on the recounts – because they know they printed enough ballots to conceal the fraud AS LONG AS nobody looks to close.
Back on 11/4 or 11/5, I pointed out that the fraud was so obvious because the Democrats panicked. They were much farther behind than they expected to be, and had to come up with ballots…fast.

The good stuff is everywhere, but the analyst writing this affidavit “gets the point” around page 43. This is what I’ve been saying for a couple of weeks once it became apparent that the vote fraud was ELECTRONIC in nature. Whatever algorithm was written blasted out many hundreds of thousands of votes…so the “counting” had to be stopped to give the Democrats time to print hundreds of thousands of ballots, and distribute them, so that the electronic fraud would be covered up by “paper ballots”.
In effect, they had to work BACKWARDS. The machine algorithm blasted out these vote dumps, and paper copies had to be produced to cover it up. This is why I went to bed on 11/3 joking that Trump had won, but we would have to wait a few more hours for people to accept it…but woke up on Wednesday with Trump losing or about to lose in EXACTLY the states that Joe Biden needed.

When I have to wear a mask I just use a folded bandana that barely covers the corner of my mouth. I am in perfect compliance, my glasses don’t fog, and I can breath normally. My daughter and her husband are anal about wearing masks everywhere even their kids aged 2 and 6 wear them everywhere. She insists my wife and I wear them (we don’t).
Anyway long story short. Her and her husband are just now getting over the flu. Verified flu. They both got the flu vaccine and still caught the flu even wearing a silly mask. BTW the kids did not get sick. I’m wondering if she is still convinced masks work.

Pence as presiding officer of the Joint Session stands up and refuses to “count” the votes from Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona, citing the mountain of evidence of fraud and election irregularities which infected the election results. Whether Pence has that power (to “dis”count electoral college votes) can be decided by the US Supreme Court (an elector whose vote was not counted can sue Pence; here the Supreme Court would have original jurisdiction. . The issue would be whether the Electoral Count Act of 1887 is constitutional. John Yoo says no. Why? Because one Congress cannot lawfully impinge on the actions of a future Congress. Alternatively, the Congress making this decision can vote to decide how and if to overrule Pence’s ruling (from the Chair). Both Houses would split back to their respective chambers and debate the question and come up with a protocol. That protocol should require both Houses to agree on whether to overrule Pence’s ruling. If not, Pence’s ruling stands. It can be expected that the Senate would vote to uphold Pence’s ruling disallowing the electoral college votes; while the House (assuming it votes by Member and not by state) would vote to overrule Pence’s ruling. For example the Presidential thread says there are currently 263 comments. On the last page there are 48 and when I try to see earlier comments using the older comments arrow there is only one comment.

Moving forward I think all places where votes are cast, handled, tabulated, monitored by poll watchers and transported should be monitored with video/ audio surveillance. S. — a process allowing multiple appeals that can take years to resolve — and her situation has personified for many in China attempts by Washington to hinder “the country’s global ascent.”
In addition to allowing her to return to China, a deal would also remove an issue that has caused Beijing’s relations with Ottawa to deteriorate and added to a downward spiral in ties with Washington. A deal could also pave the way for China to return two Canadian men who were detained there soon after Meng’s arrest, a factor that is in part motivating the discussions.
