What was just pointed out to me is this, Trump the man, the president, the husband and father has been laid bare before our nation he is still standing. The people who fight so hard against him cannot stand that to happen to them, the shame and guilt they secure within will drive them to hell, even though forgiveness is waiting.
We see all these people, call them RINO or whatever but thats why they turn on him, they can’t stand with Trump because of the fear of being revealed so they turn against him. There is a fine line between being hardcore and stupid. I crossed that line by waiting so long to deal with my prostrate problem.
The urologists says he won’t see me until Thursday now. Said it takes time for the prostrate to shrink and to get the swelling down to the place where he can see what is going on in a CT scan. I anticipate there is a cystoscopy in my future and who knows what other less than enjoyable diagnostic procedures.
So here I sit at home, able to do very little during what will almost certainly be the last warn days of the year. Meanwhile the overload at work continues for the rest of the salary driver crew. I will using a week of vacation next week. And I sit, watching the possible destruction of our Republic, unable to do a thing about any of it.
I have just finished rereading ‘Ships Of Oak – Guns Of Iron’. The war of 1812 and the forging of the American Navy. By Ronald D. Utt. Actually. contrary to the title, the work is an excellent general history of the war of 1812 including the land campaigns and battles.
The story of the war of 1812 is in it’s essence one about how true grit and dedication can overcome overwhelming odds. I don’t know if we still have enough people that are filled with the stuff that all those heroes of that war had an abundance of. But I am have begun to think that we may have to find out.

My husband went through a similar experience 2 years ago. (He too waited too long to deal with this problem until he was totally blocked) Eventually he was told he would need the TURP procedure to get the size of his prostrate down. This is considered the ‘gold standard’. We did our research and my husband decided instead to have the green light prostatectomy procedure. It was the best decision for him! Recovery was quick and there are no long lasting side effects for him.
If you end up facing a similar decision you may want to look into it. It may not be for you, but wanted to let you know our experience. We had to find a doctor that would perform this procedure as many doctors are not trained yet or don’t know much about it. We had to travel to a different state to have it done as there was no one in our area. You can look up ‘green light therapy for enlarged prostrate’ to find out more.

There’s no denying that the conveniences of modern living, the abundance of food both ready to eat and ready to cook, and the long 75+ year history in this country of living safely and secure from attacking enemies has created a society of physically and mentally soft people who simply aren’t used to fending for themselves nor used to defending themselves from aggressors.
However the naive liberal tolerance that indoctrinated too many in our society to have towards the growing influence of socialism/communism as well as radical Islam within our colleges and political bodies has now come home to roost. And it seems that most of the foolish and dangerous tolerance for totalitarian ideologies came home to roost in the Democratic Party and became less of a mere tolerance and more of a driving force.
The good news, Rah, about your physiological problem is that you have a very high chance of having it resolved in a relatively short period of time, with some temporary discomfort in the process. Our societal problems however are going to require a much larger and proactive effort over several generations, and will no doubt include many setbacks along the way.

Ha! I wish I could have some Jack & coke now. But it is verboten! Only clear fluids though I cheat and drink cranberry juice which in the past I have found seems to help my prostrate.
Rah: Make sure to drink only Organic Unsweetened 100% Cranberry Juice. A little more pricey but well worth it!! Try to get it in a glass bottle. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Morning WeeWeed. There is some truth to that. Our cat is not a glutton like some and we can leave her food down. But we created monsters of our dog and cat by establishing a morning ritual of feeding or pets treats as we sit down for our morning coffee. So by 09:00 our cat, that we named Gabby because she is a very vocal little feline, will be letting us know that it’s past her treat time.
My problem now is keeping Gabby away from my crotch area. When I lay down in bed she has typically walked right up my body and settled on my chest to get her head scratches and pets. That is not acceptable right now of course.
Rah, not to laugh but I’m totally laughing because I can visualize what you describe about gabby. We have two littermate german shepherds that I jokingly call “the engine and the caboose” as they pair up and climb onto the bed, making their way into position.
How is the cocker? Is she fully recovered?

Geisha the Cocker is doing well. As I write this she is plopped in her usual spot towards the bottom of the bed where she sleeps between our lower legs. She is a snoring teddy bear. Gabby is in one of her three cat beds.

Never put your hand in front of the circumstances and say – I am going to be my own providence here, I must watch this, and guard that. All your circumstances are in the hand of God, therefore never think it strange concerning the circumstances you are in. Your part in intercessory prayer is not to enter into the agony of intercession, but to utilize the commonsense circumstances God puts you in, and the commonsense people He puts you amongst by His providence, to bring them before God’s throne and give the Spirit in you a chance to intercede for them. In this way God is going to sweep the whole world with His saints.
Am I making the Holy Spirit’s work difficult by being indefinite, or by trying to do His work for Him? I must do the human side of intercession, and the human side is the circumstances I am in and the people I am in contact with. I have to keep my conscious life as a shrine of the Holy Ghost, then as I bring the different ones before God, the Holy Spirit makes intercession for them.
Your intercessions can never be mine, and my intercessions can never be yours, but the Holy Ghost makes intercession in our particular lives, without which intercession someone will be impoverished.
