No personal experience here, but I’ve read that many crack users also use heroin. They use the crack to keep them awake because the heroin will make them just go to sleep. I had the unfortunate experience of witnessing this in a parking lot of a local park some years back. Bunch of teens or twentysomethings doing heroin. They all just passed out after injecting. Overdosed. Someone called 911 & they were taken away in ambulances.
The attraction for it was baffling to me. Even if you don’t OD, what is the point of passing out for an hour or two.
