Please! PDJT was never in any real danger from ‘rona! He definitely got great treatment and guinea pigged a couple of experimental therapies, so we’d know they’re safe, now, but “warp speed” had little to do with it. All these therapies were already in development or had been tried with substantial clinical success. Most importantly, everyone needs to recognize that PDJT’s initial impressions that ‘rona wasn’t going to be all that big a deal for us was 99% correct–the same 99% of people who recovered with few or no symptoms and essentially without treatment, since the politicized/weaponized medical bureaucracy refused to deploy therapies that were clinically shown to be effective and further failed to advise the American people of preventives, like increasing Vit C, Vit D, Cosaquine and Green Tea with zinc. Heads need to roll in the medical establishment and the hysterical fear must be crushed! We don’t need a new normal. The normal normal is all good!
When someone is better it is easy to say “never in any real danger.” But when someone over 70 gets COVID-19, it is impossible to know if they will be part of the asymptomatic, weakly symptomatic, or very sick group. They took him to the hospital. Let’s just be glad he is back
With more than a 95% survival rate for his age and weight he would have been most unlucky had things gone south. I’m happy for his swift recovery, but in all honesty, it was to be expected if one looked at the stats. I see over-reaction to what happened from all sides, which is a reflection of how propagandized China Flu is in the psyche of many, if not most, worldwide.

How many steps did he climb up to to get to the balcony immediately prior to giving his speech?!
He climbed them non-stop at a decent pace. ANY person his age, even one in decent health not recovering from the WuFlu, would have been breathing a little faster.

I agree. He climbed a lot of steps last night and he motored up them without pausing. I get short of breath myself climbing stairs quickly while wearing a mask, and I don’t have COVID-19. I sometimes have to get the mask off after such a hike just to breath. So, I say cut the President some slack here. He looked really good. He will do some pulmonary physical therapy (if needed) and work with the spirometer each day until his lungs are strong. But, the doctors said on Sunday he was maxing out the spirometer. So, it sound like he’s doing well. The doctors said yesterday that the President has no live virus in his body. That is great news. They are just monitoring now for an inflammatory response.
You have no way of knowing if his breathing is normal. I doubt they would send him home if it was not.

Herman Cain had cancer twice, which is two more times than President Trump, so that is in no way a fair comparison.
The thing is, I don’t think there is any real predictor of who will get a bad case of it with the cytokine storm. I heard a couple or so weeks ago from a friend of my deceased parents. She mentioned that her brother, also elderly, was in the hospital with coronavirus, and had been taken off the bipap so is seemingly recovering. His wife only had headaches and was not hospitalized. She said they think they got it from their daughter who probably contracted it at work, and the daughter had flu like symptoms. So three cases from one family with a wide range of effects.
And then there was the uncle of a neighbor at the lake, early 60’s, borderline diabetic controlled by diet, a little overweight, but otherwise, no real health issues. He went to the ER June 26th, tested negative, they sent him home with steroid, he returned June 30th, tested positive, with more trouble breathing. On July 3rd or 4th, he talked to his children, saying he’s been sick before but this is nothing like he’s ever had in his life. They never did intubate him, but prone positioning, etc., I don’t know what his exact treatment was, but he died on July 7th. The neighbor says he suffocated to death. He was at a Cleveland Clinic hospital.

First, I wanted to concur with your post and say that I was 99.9% confident the big guy would be “A OKAY” just because of his mindset alone (the mind is a powerful healer is all that I am humbly suggesting here, and PDJT is excllent at using his mind).
Second, I wanted to (humbly) add a few things that I am taking, which go hand-in-glove with your list:
1. NAC
2. Selenium
3. Apple Cider Vinegar, with a smidge of Baking Soda
4. Probiotics (ACV acts as my prebiotics)
6. Time released Niacin (full flush, although I recommend that niacinimide is also good if someone does not like the flush — I like it)
7. Magnesium
8. Vitamin A
Now please be clear, none of this is a recommendation, and I do not take all of this at once, I cycle all nutrients and even take one day off per week and a week off every third month. This is just a (humble) showing of what I do. If I had to pick anything to red up on in the list, I would recommend Selenium, ACV, Probiotics, Mag. and Vit. A, as all help Vit. D assimilation.

I had a sleepless night after President Trump went into the hospital. I was frightened about a “nameless” attempt. Only in that sense did I fear that his life was in danger. I was truly afraid.
Covid-19 or the Wuhan Flu or the Oligarch Flu (agent Fauci knew way back when) was not a danger by May.
The main outlines of the virus, the therapeutics that worked — 100% of the time many times, even with older patients with other illnesses — the prophylactics that were mostly helpful were all known with, lots of studies and lots of clinical practice under our belts.
Not only in the U.S. Doctors who are brilliant, intense and insistent on healing their patients around the world were being creative and scientific and they were communicating with each other.
DrBeen among many others was putting these studies on YouTube right when they came out – especially the succeses with elemental zinc – I repeat zinc, the virus killer – along with the ionophore HCQ, to get zinc into the cells.
They all got taken down quickly. Same with those from MedCram. And other doctors got vilified. Dr. (sorry, I forget, Mereck?) from East Virginia Med School finally had to take it out of their protocol. He was one of the first with a viable protocol. How’s that for nasty political pressure.
The Commies and the Oligarchs intended to conquer with one. It is not even that dangerous with quick and correct treatment. A cold or mild flu for most.
(The hangers-on did not get quick and right treatment immediately; if they did not have severe symptoms, they were told to go home to wait for their natural immune system to cure them.
Well, unless their immune was at top level, e.g., Vit D 50-70, they might be susceptible to all the other nasties this virus has in its bag of tricks for our other organs after the first infection.)
I just wish President Trump’s staff and his doctor would have been on top of all of this research. He would never have taken Remdesivir then, although it does seem to prevent people from going into the hospital – but it has too many side-effects. There are safer therapetics.
He only used elemental zinc+HCQ as a prophylaxis for six weeks, I think. He should have been on it (or zinc and an ionophore, HCQ, quercetin or EECG) permanently, as should everyone over 70. For almost everyone HCQ is harmless and has been used for over 100 years. (Maybe he was, and the public should be aware.
There is much more. I wish everyone could look at the studies. We do not have to be afraid. We should go back to business, even though carefully, and continue to protect the most vulnerable.

Apparently the SC legislature expanded absentee voting, but still required a verified signature. The dems then sued in federal court, arguing that the verified signature would deter voting, and they won in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. The repubs took it to the Supreme Court and (mostly) won, re-instating the verified signature requirement for absentee ballots not yet sent in.

Given that we are close to 8 months now and already experienced our main bulk of the curve back in April, imo it is very appropriate to just look at the simple population death rate from covid. Let’s say 300K are dead in the US by year end. 2/3rds of that will be from nursing homes / long term care facilities which might include roughly 0.5% – 1.0% of the population. That population was already on deaths door and any deaths likely shed at max 6-12 months off life expectancy. Here is the kicker. 300K Deaths * 1/3 / (330 million * 99%) = 1 in 3267. Of course this is an average so older will have worse #s and younger will have better. I would also add that this is weighted significantly against those with high comorbidities. In NYC, 98% of deaths had at least one significant comorbidity. Essentially, 80% of the population that is somewhat healthy likely probably has a 1:10K chance of dying from covid. The media is so dishonest and acts like the 200K deaths consist of random unlucky souls. Nothing could be further from the truth. Almost universally, they have multiple comoribidities and are on death’s door step with an average age over 80.
According to Johns Hopkins University (CSSE) the global contagion is roughly 35 500 000 persons, and there are to date about 1 044 000 fatalities. This give a case fatality rate of ca 2.9%. (Of course it all depends on definitions of cases, COVID-19 deaths, and we know that the mortality is very dependent on the age group.)

The article states that nursing homes should be staffed with people who have essentially already had it. That visitors and staff could be tested frequently. That staff rotations be minimized, etc. These sound reasonable, but obviously implementation usually doesn’t mirror intent!
I, too, have reservations about what Special measures we would come up with for the vulnerable. BUT, we are already torturing the hell out of our elderly and special needs population. I’ve said from the beginning, the healthy among us need to live normally. Build the immunity. The longer these restrictions happen, the longer the most vulnerable suffer due to these same protective measures.
My medically fragile and disabled daughter wants to interact with her school peers. Wants to travel and see family. Every year, when flu is going around, we are fearful, but we do our best to minimize exposure. I read this article and thought that. I agree with you though, that I want to be the judge of what limitations. Unfortunately, I suspect nursing homes and special needs schools will be the LAST to change back to normal. In the meantime, FREE the rest!!

Okay, now most of you know me to be a Conservative Libertarian, who is anti- BIG Gov. and pro-individual rights; however, in recent months, I have been literally advocating for a repeal of Home Rule in the District of Columbia and a return of governance to the Congress.
Think of the track record for DC mayors over the last 3 decades; it ain’t pretty. Now when we came here, the vary moderate, snappy dressed, extremely intelligent and free thinking Mayor Anthony Williams was here. Although he was a little more left of center on some things that I would have liked, having arrived form Mayor Giulani’s NYC, I still could hear the man out, respect his position and realize that the District was moving forward in a positive manner.
Well he left (partly because the DC Council is filled with corrupt idiots like Mr. Orange and the late, great, former “Mayor for Life” — b*tch set me up!), and returned to a sane life. Then the whole machine fell a part again, and now you see how bad it has truly become. Mayor Fenty had one good initiative in taking on the unions at the school, but everyone else, including Bow Wow has returned back to the corruption the city is famous for.
Mayor Williams had really begun to clean up the city and was a big proponent of helping the homeless and needy. Mayor Bow Wow lets them fall apart on the streets. The city was looking lean and clean in 2004, but now the filth builds, oh and have I mentioned the new mask litter that is everywhere?
Now I would say that the Council could impeach Mayor Bow Wow over just about any reason you can imagine,
(Corruptions? Yep. Illegal orders. Yep. No respecting the United States Constitution in the Federal City? Yep. Violating the Commerce Clause? Yep. Violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964? Yep. on, and on, and on…)
but the will do nothing as usual. This is the town that gave us Council men Orange, Brown and Gray (this last one became mayor), as well as all of the scandals these men were associated with.
Knowing that our votes will never amount to enough here to return the city to sanity, we are working on a move out of the area. Yet, if there is ever, I mean ever going to be a chance for the District to return to some form of sanity, it could be from the repeal of Home Rule.
That is my (humble) opinion and I an sticking to it.
