After portions of the city burned and after Omar called for the compete deconstruction of the Minneapolis police, she just won an overwhelming victory over a well-funded black male liberal primary challenger. And she’ll easily win re-election. These affluent liberal whites won’t vote for conservatives. Voting for libs is how they prove to themselves that they’re good people, even as they make sure live in, work, shop and play in overwhelmingly white enclaves.

The article is a quick and thought provoking read. I had read about the recent raids freeing innocent children from sex trafficking rings, and I wondered why I was not hearing more about this in the mainstream media.
As usual, who is hiding what? Or rather, it is not even hidden…it is before our very eyes, yet why do we not look?

I worked for an Iranian family in the mid-1980s. They were/are of the Bahai faith and fled Iran when the Ayatollah came into power, knowing they would not last long under sharia law.

It’s a nice thought, but not only will it most likely not happen, but it’s already too late to use in this election cycle if the DOJ holds to their rule that wouldn’t allow them now to indict anyone until after the election. Their own deadline to indict is today, and the chances of an indictment on a Federal holiday are virtually zero. I think we now clearly see that the DOJ is not going to help our president. We use to use oral polio here in the US, which reduced the need for the iron lungs (remember the pics). Cases went from 220k down to a handful.
Unfortunately, with a live attenuated vaccine, there are a few cases of polio live type develop. It’s the risk benefit. We don’t give the oral here in the US anymore because of it. We give oral still over seas because ease of administration.

I remember polio before there was a vaccine. Then, first we had the shots, which we all had to have, and then we had the oral which we all had to have. I had it all as a young child; I don’t know anyone who got polio as a result of taking it. But, who knows…

Polio was a serious disease. Covid 19 seems to have an IFR ~ .3%, not even considering that half of the population seems to have innate T cell immunity – probably because of prior exposure to other coronaviruses. We’re 2/3 finished with this coronavirus. The supposed 1,000 per day death count contains people who died a month or more ago and are only now being counted. Deaths are plummeting.
At the end, COVID will probably be around 0.3 to 0.5 IFD. That doesn’t count the folks hospitalized (the morbidity of the disease..5-8%). Older folks, people of color, co-mortibities are higher. Some will have lingering effects. Not sure that number. I haven’t seen any epidemiology data but they are out there.
Here is a very I interesting theory on the Bradykinin effect. Makes a ton a sense on why it tips folks over the edge with hypertension, obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
I have been trying to wrap my head around it.

Here in PA, we are being overwhelmed with Biden ads, both on TV and radio. When anyone watches their local news on TV, every commercial (and I mean EVERY COMMERCIAL) is for Biden. Considering when roughly one half of the population still gets all of their news from TV, (probably a much higher percentage of seniors) it seems to be having an effect. I am seeing more and more Biden signs popping up here. I saw very few Hillary signs four years ago.
It is rare to see a commercial on TV from the Trump campaign, and I have yet to hear a single radio commercial. I honestly don’t know why we are not seeing more TV and radio ads for President Trump, but whoever is making these decisions may end up losing Pennsylvania for him.

I will concede though that there is nothing you can do about biased news coverage. Local news is important to these people, and many of the local stations are affiliates of the big three (ABC/NBC/CBS). That’s a problem.

MSNBC, for example, is a 24 hour political campaign commercial for Biden and the DNC. CNN as well, perhaps slightly less so. Just announce that you are going to ask the FEC to evaluate whether or not this one-sided news coverage qualifies as in-kind campaign contributions.
It may not do anything right away, but it will get their attention.

No, they were never called that night. It was about 0.25% (as I recall) for POTUS. Also not called were NH, MN, and though AZ was called by the networks, the state took forever to get to 100% count. And of course, afterwards, there were recounts in MI, WI, PA — I may be forgetting some. WI and PA were called that night, with a margin of about 0.75% for POTUS.
Forget the smoke and mirrors … DNC expects to lose in 2020, so they set up a sacrificial candidate, one that’s expendable like old, over the hill, Biden. He’ll go down in a blaze of glory for the team, while the younger candidates gear up for 2024, planning on ripping up Pence, the presumed successor to Trump. And honestly, can anyone see the Deplorable getting fired up by Pence? He may make a fine Veep but an inspirational leader he is not. OTOH, Kristi Noem might claim the mantle of the leader of the deplorables. But let’s first get this landslide out of the way.

PT was very specific though about requesting an ABSENTEE ballot, sending that ballot in early and then check to see if that ballot had been processed.
From what I have been reading, if your name does not show up on the sign-in book, that should mean your absentee ballot has been processed.
POTUS was speaking of unsolicited ballots, and has no problems with absentee ballots.
In other words, the unsolicited ballots are the fly in the ointment by which the dems propose to steal the election, and to counter that, vote twice and be damn proud you did. If the system is not rigged (it is), it will not count one of your votes. But we know otherwise, don’t we?
And yes, he does say if you vote absentee, double check it, and if not tabulated, go vote.
In California they have this to track your vote. You need to register how you want to receive the status of your ballot. The BallotTrax will provide the infos when it is mailed, received and counted.

“Processed” to what point in the procedure: that you “requested a ballot”; maybe that it was “mailed to you”; that it was received and “correctly” filled in; voter registration issue perhaps?

Ohio informs that absentee ballots are the FIRST counted on ELECTION night…which means discovery of any fatal flaw is too late to be corrected by the voter.
Ohio also informs that if you did get mailed an absentee ballot that on ELECTION day you will be provided ONLY a provisional ballot – better provisional than NONE!
Show up on election day I say – VOTE in person.
That is my thought…not sure why PT is suggesting that we all get absentee ballots! What the heck happens to them when they arrive anywhere?
