OKALOOSA ISLAND — A 34-year-old homeless man accused of trying to sneak  into Helen Back through a back fence was arrested Jan. 29 and charged with  trespassing and resisting an officer, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s  Office arrest report.

A deputy arrived at the restaurant and told the man to leave, and the man  said, “Someone is going to get shot!” The deputy tried to put the man in  handcuffs, but he “resisted, pulling away several times,” the report said.

The man refused to sit on the ground as instructed but “was subsequently  assisted to the ground where he sat with no further resistance,” the report  said.  (read more)
