Afternoon, dear lady. I’m so sorry to read about your credit card plight. Sadly, there’s a lot of ID theft going on of late. I’m getting repeated scam calls, etc. Some are pretty clever. As I say there’s a lot more of similar scams of late.
I read recently of one operation busted—In Burma I think—run by a Chinese guy. He sought American sounding people who he forced to work in his call center. A real bad guy. I think I got one of those calls a couple of weeks ago—the woman claimed to be IRS, had some of my personal info. and was demanding a lot more “for verification”. We went back and forth, I kept asking questions when she suddenly said she was forwarding me to another IRS office and then hung up.
She sure sounded American but her questions were not at all IRS standard. I can see how that kind of scam would work. Fortunately, the guy running the show got busted.

IRS will NEVER call you. I received one of those scam calls years ago. Said I was delinquent with my tax payment and if I did not immediately pay X amount of dollars he would send the police to my house. I hung up on him b/c I knew it was a scam call; IRS will not call you. Besides, I had already spent my refund. LOL Then for about two or three weeks I kept getting voice mail calls from “IRS” with threats. They would leave a number But never answer when I’d return their call. I haven’t had a good scammer call, text or e-mail me in months now. Guess I must be living right.

St. Florian, Martyr (RM)
The Roman Martyrology commemorates St. Florian (d. 304), a Roman military officer stationed at Noricum (Austria) who openly declared himself a Christian during the persecution of Emperor Diocletian. With a boulder tied to the neck, he was precipitated from a bridge into the Enns River.
St. Florian
The St. Florian commemorated in the Roman Martyrology on May 4th, was an officer of the Roman army, who occupied a high administrative post in Noricum, now part of Austria, and who suffered death for the Faith in the days of Diocletian. His legendary “Acts” state that he gave himself up at Lorch to the soldiers of Aquilinus, the governor, when they were rounding up the Christians, and after making a bold confession, he was twice scourged, half-flayed alive, set on fire, and finally thrown into the river Enns with a stone around his neck. His body, recovered and buried by a pious woman, was eventually removed to the Augustinian Abbey of St. Florian, near Linz. It is said to have been at a later date translated to Rome, and Pope Lucius III, in 1138, gave some of the saint’s relics to King Casimir of Poland and to the Bishop of Cracow. Since that time, St. Florian has been regarded as a patron of Poland as well as of Linz, Upper Austria and of firemen. There has been popular devotion to St. Florian in many parts of central Europe, and the tradition as to his martyrdom, not far from the spot where the Enns flows into the Danube, is ancient and reliable. Many miracles of healing are attributed to his intercession and he is invoked as a powerful protector in danger from fire or water.

Israel Update:
I have not posted an update for a while. The main reason, and it will sound weird, is that not much happened with Iran, the situation is the same as it was at the last time that I posted.
Basically we have “negotiations” with a terror regime and after paying attention to their words I came to a conclusion that it’s only a matter of time until the next “plague” will arrive, as the last one “blockade” is not enough.
So I was not going to pay too much attention to the noise, invented news and psychological pressures surrounding it.
Iran:
~Iran proposed a plan. As I said there are various versions of what they proposed and I will not post it all here. The bottom line is that they don’t want to get rid of their nuclear program. They may be willing to not enrich for a decade or more (once Trump is gone they will do whatever) the subject of the enriched uranium is not clear and they have a long list of demands that will make them rich.
Trump declines and the US is working on answering them.
~Trump just announced on Project Freedom. The goal is to break the Iranian blockade by escorting ships.
Iran of course is opposing it and this may trigger friction and military actions.
~The American Blockade has changed the game and is throwing the Iranian economy into a more disastrous condition than it already was. The US has launched an economic war including freezing various assets that they have in the Gulf States and tightening the sanctions.
But, Jihadists are not thinking like Westerners. Look at Hamas who lost family and homes and land and are still dedicated to their brainwash education and are rebuilding power in Gaza for the next conflict.
Theoretically you could keep suppressing their economy and they will invent new ways to keep breathing, they have another sea that goes to Russia and a border with Pakistan, etc…. and you may keep suppressing it and one day there could be a collapse but you would drag the situation to an undefined future. You may get into a conflict at the Midterms elections that would not be good for Trump.
~A major worry, reports that the Iranians managed to open some of the missile cities that are under mountains and only the openings were bombed. They may have regained missile power and could launch massive strikes against Israel beyond its ability to cope with. This means that Israel must be the first to strike or it can face mass casualty disasters. Imagine hundreds of missiles into major cities. We can’t sustain it.
~I want to say something that is based on nothing aside for my understanding of Trump himself. I think he would like to take over Iranian oil. Just saying. Remember.
~There is a massive buildup of American power in the area. I heard reports about 100 American refueling airplanes just in Israel. I can’t verify the number but I did post a video before, it is massive. There are also three carriers in the region. CENTCOM Commander just visited his Marine Corps in the area.
Netanyahu instructed the Govenment to shut up about Iran. Massive American aid arrived to Tel Aviv with munitions and Military supplies for Israel, a purchase.
All of the above are signals of a possible military action and this is the reason that I came back with an update. I would give it a couple more days basically. They may be waiting for another opportunity to take out some leaders.
~Biblically Iran has not been sufficiently punished to a point of a change. And oddly enough Trump just posted that they “have not been sufficiently punished for their 47 years of causing pain and death” (something like that).
Lebanon:
~When Trump went into a ceasefire with Iran he also posted that “Israel is to stop bombing in Lebanon”.
He announced an Israeli ceasefire without Hezbollah announcing too.
This caused a bad situation for the IDF and Israel. First of all the sentiment is that “we can’t take care of our own security and Israel is subjected to the will of Trump at the cost of the lives of our civilians and soldiers”.
This makes Bibi look very bad and we are before elections. His own base in large numbers are pissed off. Not just because Trump told us what to do, but because Hezbollah is openly violating the ceasefire daily and hourly and is firing massive numbers of drones at IDF and rockets and at the North of Israel. We had dozens of attacks and dozens of injured IDF soldiers and a few killed. Israelis are very sensitive to the lives of our soldiers.
We see videos of the citizens of the north crowded with many children in shelters and a big cry to and against the government for putting their lives open to attacks. One mayor of a key town in the area removed the picture of Netanyahu and posted the picture of Trump instead as an act of protest.
So the IDF has gradually increased its operations in South Lebanon but we never made it to the Litani River and we are having an issue with massive number of drones against us. We stopped attacks deep into Lebanon such as Beirut where their center is and where it has the greatest effect.
Basically Bibi decided to “bite the bullet” to keep his relationship with Trumps in a good condition with the hope that it will pay off at the Iranian front. After all Iran is the priority.
~Bibi announced a 10 year program with allocation of hundreds of billions of Shekels in order to gain military independence. The intention is to manufacture most of everything that we need for the IDF. Including Airplanes, munitions, etc…. We have already improved a lot during the past couple of years but there is a way to go. Specially in the Air-force. The bottom line is that we saw how Biden stopped us in the war with munitions embargo. We see the hate to Israel also in the US and we don’t know what will happen in the US in the coming years. The Democrats have become haters and the future of the Republican Party is unknown too. The idea is also to get rid of US aid altogether. It’s funny how the haters paint an image of “Israel controlling the US” when in reality we can’t even protect our northern citizens without a US approval.
~Bibi ordered our smartest brains to resolve the drone problem. Israel may just change the balance of international war power with the advantage of the West and the US. Drones are a huge problem. He said that he is getting reports on progress but it is not a short process. The whole Strait of Hormuz by the way is a drone blockade. They use drones to attack ships. When a drone is coming long distance we can shoot it down but large numbers at short range is an unresolved issue.
Gaza:
~Almost every day I am hearing on more Hamas people killed. Somehow the IDF has it’s way to attack them despite it all but in small numbers and mainly by the use of drones. I still see people who participated in 10/7 taken out and more. I am hearing that the IDF who held over 50% of Gaza has slowly took more and is not having over 60%.
Forget about “peace in Gaza”. Hamas is building up power and capabilities. But is surrounded and have lost grounds. Any attempt to cross the yellow line is a death sentence. Disarming Hamas can only be done by the IDF. We are preparing for it. There is no way that we let them survive after 10/7. Nobody in Israel is OK with it. It may be coordinated with Trump or will wait a year or two. But I think that Trump will understand now. And by the way, I am seeing the videos. The whole idea that “The poor victims of Gaza are hostages at the hands of Hamas” is a complete fabrication. They are supported by the population.
I posted at my Rumble channels. They are screaming to kill the Jews at the funerals. The mob, not just individuals. Hamas will not let any international army to control their area. They can try to manipulate and let friendly Arabs to hand in there but not to control the area.
Rebuild Gaza? Who will pay? Who will come? It’s not safe, Hamas opposes. As a note the IDF is still clearing that lands it is holding from tunnels and a lot of Gaza was flattened as there were so many boobytraps that the only effective way was the way of the bulldozers.

Well said, David. And, as usual, very much welcomed. The prevailing military contention on this side of the Great Water is that the current “pause” is just “waiting for the roof to fall in”.
That may be true enough but I also think its still hard for our Generals and political leaders to accept that the Iranians are fundamentally a death cult. While I commend Trump for waiting for a collective revelation . . . that kind of profound change given Iranian religious dogma—simply ain’t going to happen. That’s why Iranians are described as a death cult.

David, it is good to hear from you. Again, you deliver news that is relevant and no where to be found in the American media hot mess. I have cut way down on driving as gas is well over $6.00 per gallon in southern California. I am also pretty impatient with Trump not being forcefully direct with Iran. I would like to get this whole exerise, Iran, Gaza, and Lebanon, over with. There is nothing to be gained by allowing Iran reconstitute its war machine.
What are you seeing cost wise in Israel? Do you feel costs going up, and if so, which ones.

Fuel prices went up in Israel but not so much as the US. About 16% up compared to some 40% in most of the US.
Israeli oil formula is different and mitigates the hikes. Part of the reason is record high value of Israeli Shekel (currency) compared to the dollar. While we did take damages because many couldn’t go to work at the heat of the war, overall the Israeli economy is miraculously breaking records.
Israel’s GDP per capita 58-60K has now passed the UK 52K, Germany 53-58K, France 46K, Italy 39K, Spain 35K, Japan 34K, Turkey 13K and most of the Arab nations. This means higher salaries in certain sectors, stronger high tech, resilience, tax revenue, etc… As a note the US is at 85-90K per capita.
In Israel fertility rate is 2.8-3.0 children per woman. One of the highest in developed countries. Most of Europe is 1.2-1.7 that is below replacement level (replacement level is how many need to born for the population to not shrink, in most of Europe it should be about 2.1 children to stay the same). In the US it is now at 1.6.
Israel’s new generation is Conservative inclined. In Europe it is more Progressive left inclined.
The people who bring the most babies in Israel are the religious population that is Conservative inclined. Shalom.

I have to agree with your observation on Iranian oil. If Iran gets a rational government, oil production will be developed, and no doubt the US will be shareholders. Remember his attitude towards Iraq–first, don’t do it, and second, since you did, get repaid. Nobody listened.
I think his view on Gaza is that after total demolition, it could be rebuilt to be a beautiful high-end vacation resort. Location, location, location. Maybe what’s left of the locals could go to the UK or Europe. He is ultimately going to make that an Arab issue to resolve.
For Hezbollah, I think he is maneuvering to strengthen Lebanon to be able to eradicate them, probably in alliance with Israel. Both Hamas and Hezbollah have to go. Cutting off Iranian support is an important first step, but if the most radical want to die for their cause, they can be accommodated.
As for the midterms here, there seems to be a plan with lots of moving pieces converging at the appropriate time.

The gospel, when faithfully preached, and fully received, betters the condition even of the poorest. They save what before they riotously spent, and diligently employ their time to useful purposes. They save and gain by religion, and thus are made rich, both for the world to come and for this, when compared with their sinful, profligate state, before they received the gospel.
11-18 It is wrong for believers to join with the wicked and profane. The word unbeliever applies to all destitute of true faith. True pastors will caution their beloved children in the gospel, not to be unequally yoked. The fatal effects of neglecting Scripture precepts as to marriages clearly appear. Instead of a help meet, the union brings a snare. Those whose cross it is to be unequally united, without their wilful fault, may expect consolation under it; but when believers enter into such unions, against the express warnings of God’s word, they must expect must distress. The caution also extends to common conversation. We should not join in friendship and acquaintance with wicked men and unbelievers. Though we cannot wholly avoid seeing and hearing, and being with such, yet we should never choose them for friends. We must not defile ourselves by converse with those who defile themselves with sin. Come out from the workers of iniquity, and separate from their vain and sinful pleasures and pursuits; from all conformity to the corruptions of this present evil world. If it be an envied privilege to be the son or daughter of an earthly prince, who can express the dignity and happiness of being sons and daughters of the Almighty?

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
