Two U.S. National Guard servicemen were killed along with a U.S. civilian interpreter in an ISIS attack in Syria. Three additional American troops were wounded. President Trump said during an impromptu presser at the White House, the three wounded Americans “seem to be doing pretty well.” The U.S. military said the gunman was killed in the attack. Syrian officials said the attack also wounded members of Syria’s security forces.

Likewise, we pray for the three injured soldiers who, it has just been confirmed, are doing well. This was an ISIS attack against the U.S., and Syria, in a very dangerous part of Syria, that is not fully controlled by them. The President of Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa, is extremely angry and disturbed by this attack. There will be very serious retaliation.”

The majority Shia now governed Iraq. To destabilize the Shia government in Iraq who leaned toward Iran we created ISIS in Syria. To destabilize Iraq with terror, Abrahms tanks and all manner of US military heavy equipment and cash was supplied to ISIS.
In Syria we now had ISIS to pretend “fight” so we illegally occupied the eastern region which conveniently holds their oil and agriculture. Because we concurrently wanted Assad out, starving the Syrians and cutting off oil income was supposed to topple Assad.
We also reconstituted al-Qaeda over the years to oust Assad. Remember the sketchy al-Nusra and Free Syrian Army, and the never honestly investigated arms to terrorists in Benghazi deal gone bad? The story of reconstituting al-Qaeda Syria.
The sanctions weren’t enough and Russia effectively was killing off the terrorists we were funding and arming. Keep in mind when the current al-Qaeda Syria is raping and killing Christians, Druze and Shias, the survivors flee to Russian bases, not American. Because we harbor al-Qaeda terrorists and conduct joint operations. Think of that a moment, our military bases are not safe for victims of genocide because we are allied with terrorists we create, arm and pay.
Then we started the Ukraine war, Russia withdrew resources from Syria allowing our terrorists to achieve critical mass and we finally achieved the overthrow of Assad using Turkey, Israel and al-Qaeda Syria.

Iowa soldiers killed in Syria attack, governor urges support
JOHNSTON, Iowa — Two Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers and a U.S. civilian were killed during an attack in Palmyra, Syria, Saturday. The soldiers were engaged in a key leader mission as part of ongoing efforts against ISIS and terrorism in the region.
Maj. Gen. Stephen Osborn, adjutant general of the Iowa National Guard, confirmed the loss. “Our priority right now is supporting the families of our fallen and wounded Soldiers,” Osborn said.
The Chief of Police for the Meskawki Nation Police Department in Tama, Jeffrey Bunn, posted a message to social media saying one of the slain National Guardsmen was his son, Nate. The identity of the other soldier has not been released.
In addition to the fatalities, three Iowa National Guard Soldiers were injured, with two evacuated for medical treatment. Their names are withheld due to privacy policies.
Gov. Kim Reynolds extended condolences, urging Iowans to support the affected families and pray for the recovery of the wounded. “Our hearts are heavy today, and our prayers and deepest condolences are with the families,” Reynolds said.
The Iowa Army National Guard has been actively deploying soldiers to the Middle East since May 2025 as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, which aims to dismantle ISIS forces.
