USDA head says ‘everyone’ on SNAP (42 million people and 22 million households) will now have to reapply
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins on Thursday said the Trump administration is planning to have all Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) beneficiaries reapply for the program due to alleged fraud.
The secretary said after receiving data on SNAP recipients from 29 red states that “186,000 deceased men and women and children in this country are receiving a check.”
“Can you imagine when we get our hands on the blue state data what we’re going to find?” she asked during a Thursday appearance on Newsmax’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight.”
“It’s going to give us a platform and a trajectory to fundamentally rebuild this program, have everyone reapply for their benefit, make sure that everyone that’s taking a taxpayer-funded benefit through SNAP or food stamps, that they literally are vulnerable, and they can’t survive without it,” she added.
Earlier this month, food stamps were threatened amid the government shutdown as the Trump administration argued against using contingency funds to fuel the welfare program.
Families and individuals are expected to receive benefits in full by Monday, Rollins said on Thursday.

MSM will show lines of people…(probably archived) of those lining up for benefits blaming the Trump Admin for cruelty and those people in line being taken away from their low paying jobs in order to “feed their families”.
When in reality those reapplying will be taking a break from the “View” and other illegal activities in order to get their monthly stipend…

Anyone else recall, some years ago, seeing dozens and dozens of vehicles in food bank lines, and many of those vehicles were super pricey? Someone in an expensive vehicle was actually asked why he needed the free food when driving such a vehicle. The expected response would have been because he lost his job, or he was picking up food for a disabled neighbor. But no. His response was: “Because it’s free!”
At a nearby community south of here, they call it “commodities”.
I’m sure taxpayers foot the bill, but the finer points are not known to me.
And I would guess 75% drive much better rides than I do.
From what I can gather on facebook, “they” seem capable of planning ahead well and knowing where to be at the appropriate time.
I am only assuming they get this stuff in addition to other food welfare?

My first job as an attorney was working for my state’s child support unit, establishing paternity and child support for children receiving benefits. One thing that was noticeable is that while these recipients had a lot of things, they didn’t own anything, The BMW was leased, the home rented, etc., so on paper they had nothing and were therefore benefit eligible. The lengths and ingenuity it took to look like they had nothing was incredible – if these recipients used all that brainpower to get and keep a job there is no telling what they could actually achieve.
The people who believe and promote the MSM narrative are a small minority.
At this point in time, they can wank all they want to and we are just annoyed.
This should’ve happened on Jan 21st. 10 Months of fraud-waste-abuse could’ve been saved.

The snap program in the news, Brought back this memory. I was in the grocery store checkout, the man ahead of me had all the stuff to make taco’s for his family, he had a 12 pack of beer, when the clerk rang it up and told him the price, he handed her food stamps, she said he cant pay for the beer with food stamps, and said he didn’t have enough money for it all. He put back everything except the beer, the clerk was frustrated and rang it up took the food stamps, and he left with the beer no food!
Food stamps have not been “stamps” for many years. Debit cards that replaced them automatically reject payment for beer and other alcoholic drinks. The store clerk you witnessed ring up a beer purchase was not supposed to accept payment for it with food stamps. If nothing else, the receipt would have shown an illegal transaction.
First off, the machine will right away reject non-food, hot cooked food like rotisserie chicken and any household items, sanitary products, paper products, personal hygiene care products, all household items, toys, games etc etc. There is no way that can happen that the store clerk was able to ring up the beer purchase from Snap payment. If the beer-purchaser was using cash on his snap card, maybe. I have no idea how the EBT cash use work and what restrictions are in place to opt to pay with cash. I only know that applicants received their cards and eligibility of usage on whichever they applied for – food or cash.

Might I ask what seems to me a very simple question?
“Why has it not always been the case that recipients of this program had to re-apply every year?”
“If your situation has not changed, then this is unfortunate, but also perfectly understandable. But, by the simple expedient of reviewing the roster every annual year, we avoid mistakes and fraud. Thank you for your understanding.”
When you apply for food-stamp (SNAP) benefits, it is simply understood that it is “for an annual year.” Subject to renewal without limit, if your needs, upon re-review, unfortunately persist.
If you are on Medicaid long term care, you not only have to reapply every year, the state has automatic access to all your known bank accounts and checks them each year to make sure you are not over the asset limit during that year. The assigned worker just pings the accounts. No explicit consent required.
So, they could do it, if they wanted to. The technology and systems exist.
Apparently, they don’t want to do it. Or haven’t wanted to. Or some people or nonexistent people get to be ghosts in the system.
So, it sure sounds a whole lot like “another USAID.” Another place where fraud has been happening, “for quite some time now, apparently.”

In every Government program intended to provide aid, to those who legitimately and desperately need it, there will be “fraud.”
They still do it. Many people who legitimately need the aid get their notices annually and have to supply all kinds of documents and refill the form for any changes, plus if they have bank accounts, how many checking, any credit card; with original bank letter to certify that the account holder is legitimate and what the current balances are each year. Their medical prescriptions section requires info on amount they pay every month and an annual certified copy from the pharmacy showing whatever copay expenses the applicant has paid for the year; including a copy of the previous year’s Social Security annual statement if they were receiving Federal Benefits – this applies to those who are unemployed/seniors whose spouses are deceased and they are receiving as dependants of whatever Social Security shares were allotted. These, and any changes in residence, if renting, rental management have to certify the amount of rent paid; if house-owners, all taxes, untilities, insurance and other bills they have paid for the year with documents from the appropriate departments and organisations. After the dubmission of documents required, Heath and Welfare will notify them as to when they must undergo an interview by a certain date or lose their benefit account.
How on earth can illegals get Snap benefits in cash or food, how dead people have been claiming benefits for years. Inexplicable that children are receiving snap benefits unless they were claimed as dependants by someone taking care of them.

Recipients are supposed to be recertified annually and/or if there is any change in income or expenses, change in household size, etc.
Sometimes, there is incidental fraud where someone may not report that a member of the household has died or moved out of the household.
Then, there are cases of organized fraud where cases are initiated and the cards are issued to people who may not be using authentic identification and documents.
There are also large/widespread organized fraud cases perpetrated by people working for the Welfare Departments.
Remember how all those fake people at fake addresses were discovered when voter fraud cases were being investigated?
It works the same way.

Those cards are loaded with benefit moneys and there is a record of where the benefits are redeemed, just like when someone uses a credit card to buy groceries at the store.
The data also shows an itemized list of what was purchased, just like a grocery receipt.
There is a data trail and there are patterns to look for in the data that help identify who, what, where, when, and how.
A DOGE-type audit would not be that difficult.

People buy/obtain fraudulent id and documents from individuals or business that sells these could be the only way they can get away with obtaining SNAP. There are records/data trails. That is why it is of primary importance to start with digging into these frauds apart from just making legitimate SNAP recipients reapply. Doesn’t make sense or add up, if you would, when the process for renewal has been the annual process required.

The key is linking the applicants to actual state birth certificate records. Then link all death certificates back to the original birth certificates.
While it won’t stop all the fraud, it will limit it to actual PHYSICAL people who are legally in the US. Why? Because that requires a passport or birth certificate officially recorded somewhere and to a hospital record and to parents with an address.
Sure, they can generate fake birth certificates to fake people, but it eliminates the current illegal from just showing up with a doc that looks legit but is completely fictitious.
Add that to all the other points you know and it WILL eliminate the ghosts generated by motor vehicle and other ways to generate ghosts….which is where I suspect the major organized fraud occurs by the blue state governments. T

What then makes cremation heathen?
Apart from actual cremation, what happens to those whose bodies had to be burnt to avoid/reduce spread of diseases of such dead?
The spirit lives on after the person dies; and long after the bones are dried and shrivelled without cremation, the spirit will rise to face the LAST JUDGMENT. So also cremated ones, from dust to dust .
Nope. There is no spirit to live on. Bodies will be resurrected. Those who belong to Christ will be given our eternal bodies and live with Him in the new heaven and the new earth forever. Those who rejected Him will be destroyed.
Also exceedingly bad, the elderly that were confined to total isolation from not just their families and friends, but even from fellow facility members and staff – slowly demoralized and murdered…in some cases dying from grief or loneliness.
