Israel Update:
I see that there was quite some coverage of the matters. It paid off to wait and not go into all the disagreements, my or our prayers were answered and it turned from bad to good.
Thanks God!
There may have been a host of opinions but oddly enough I see it very simple and clear.
So I will be able to explain now that it was published and it’s not just “leaks”. This is a long update because a lot is going on. I hope it’s worth your time.
There are two ways of looking at it depending on expectations.
The “Far Right” in Israel would like to see the Gazans gone elsewhere (like Trump suggested at one point), Israel annex parts or all of Gaza, Jews settle in Gaza, and the Gazans and others learn that what they did to us cost them land and loss of homes and it will forever be engrained in their minds that killing Jews was an awful idea. So when Trump talked of relocation they were very excited.
The Israeli left wants the hostages home at the cost of letting Hamas stay and grow. Basically a surrender. They see an added bonus by knowing that such an outcome will lead to the end of the career of Netanyahu. Their hate of Netanyahu drove them “out of their minds”.
The majority of Israelis agree with the aims of the War: 1. Getting rid of Hamas and Islamic Jihad to a point that they are not a serious threat any longer. (Like the Nazis who still exist but are not a real threat as it was). 2. Getting back the hostages. 3. Making sure that Gaza is no longer a threat on Israel (this includes de-radicalization, de-militarization, freedom for the IDF to operate in Gaza if and when needed).
So what is in the plan?
–Hamas gives all the hostages in 72 hours.
-Israel releases a couple of hundred terrorists who were convicted for a life sentences and a couple of thousand Gazans who were arrested during the operations (we don’t hold them for no reason, they must be members of terror organizations or related somehow). Israel also will release bodies of terrorists for bodies of Israelis.
-Israel will withdraw in stages. A key one that I will elaborate later.
-An Arab force will enter which will be run by Tony Blair (ex-Prime Minister of England and above him Trump. Those are from moderate nations like UAE and Bahrein, etc…
That force is responsible to disarm Hamas and take care of terror infrastructure such as tunnels and weapon manufacturing facilities.
-Hamas people who decide to leave Hamas, and give up their weapons can stay.
-Hamas leadership can safely leave Gaza in exchange for their agreement to give away the weapons of Hamas.
-Any Gazan who wants to leave can leave with a promise they can be back if they want.
-Some five years plus of reconstruction with a lot of Arab money.
-A plan to make Gaza a thriving economic zone. This is a big one but I will leave it here now.
-Moderate Gazans will manage Gaza. The term is “Technocrats” which means “Non political professionals”. Some Gazans and some International experts that will help Gaza to be a better place.
-The Palestinian Authority will reform and if it reforms successfully then there can be a transition in which they may take over Gaza.
-Eventually Israel will negotiate with the Palestinians about a permanent solution. An indirect insinuation about the Two State Solution.
Now I wrote it all from memory and excuse me if I missed something but this gives a very good concept of what it is.
Initially:
The initial plan seemed awful and this is why I said yesterday that there is a lot of anxiety in Israel and people thinking that Trump turned.
There is a slang term in Hebrew that I don’t think it is in English. It is literally “Red Riding Hood” (from the fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood”). It means that “a group is setting up someone and getting them into an ambush from which they can’t fight back”.
It’s beyond a setup. It’s putting one in a complete effect of many against one or a few.
We in Israel thought that Trump with the Arabs who had talks have prepared a “Red Riding Hood”. Ie. An ambush where everyone is against Israel and Israel is in a coroner and must say yes for things it doesn’t want to. And oddly enough I am pretty sure that the original Arab plan was such. But Bibi and his team managed to turn it around.
Originally the whole thing was geared to use the blood of our soldiers to give Gaza to the Palestinian Authority and from there to lead to a Palestinian State.
Bibi insisted that the Palestinian Authority will undergo a thorough reform. They will need to stop educating their children to hate Jews and want to kill. They would have to stop paying terrorists who are in prisons according to how many Israelis they killed and stop paying to families of deceased terrorists, they will have to take care of incitement in other ways. And recognize the Jewish State. We know quite well that this is not likely to happen. So this ambush was taken care of.
Another point was that we never saw an external force, specially not Arabs, taking care of the security of Israel. This seems like a falsehood. That the Arabs will demilitarize and take away the weapons of Hamas and others and destroy tunnels etc…. This also looked like an Arab lie by Qatar and others.
Bibi conditioned the withdrawal of the IDF on the demilitarization of the areas in which the Arab Forces will operate in. I am not sure if it is because of him but Trump agreed to be over this force personally. Under Trump will be Tony Blair.
Bibi or Trump or both also secured an agreement to let Gazans leave if they want and return if they wish. This was a big NO of the Arab nations. They wanted to keep the Gazans on the necks of Israel. If they are willing to accept them in now this means that a half of the Gazans may choose to leave.
If we can reform the Palestinian Authority it will be a blessing. An opening for peace. Not only in Gaza but also Judea and Samaria. I have always said that only education can change anything in the region. If not then they will not be a part of the plan.
So what’s now?
Now the “Red Riding Hood” (the ambush and setup in which many are against one) is all over Hamas. Everyone who agreed to the plan : Israel , US, Europe, the Arabs (including the main Hamas supporters, Qatar and Turkey) everyone is going to pressure Hamas and if they say “NO” they will be cornered and lose the international support that they had and Israel will have the legitimization to do whatever it needs to do to crush them in Gaza.
Qatar is also cornered. Because they promised Trump that they can deliver and handle Hamas to agree. If they don’t deliver they will look like liars and lose respect and control.
So the ball is with Hamas and I don’t see them agreeing to disarm. More likely they will say
“Yes, but…” and pose a bunch of terms that Israel can’t agree to. Like giving the hostages at the end or slowly. Or demanding a complete withdraw of the IDF at the beginning or some sneaky way to keep their arms or stay in Government.
But Trump and israel will know where the limits are. They can theoretically throw the ball to Israel but I see that Trump will not agree to keep them in power and not agree to have them fighting in Gaza nor drag the release of the hostages which he really cares about. Trump also agreed that serious violations will grant Israel the right to use the IDF to take care of things. Trump also suggested that he understands the opposition of Israel to a Palestinian State and the term is not in the deal.
So we don’t have the ideal of full IDF control but there is also a plus that the IDF will not need to be involved in running Gaza and the burden of taking care of the Gazans.
Is it going to work?
80%-85% of the terrorists in Gaza are Hamas. 15-20% are Islamic Jihad. They are all well coordinated.
The Islamic Jihad just published a statement that is saying that “This is a US / Israel attempt to undermine the Palestinians. They are calling it a formula for exploding the are and they refuse to give their weapons or their resistance. Islamic Jihad is mainly financed and supported by Iran. Not Qatar. This is a problem.
If Hamas will decide otherwise, they can persuade them. Theortically.
I told you earlier. Giving up the weapons is not in the DNA of Hamas, or any terror organization. Radicals and psychos tend to go on a suicidal course.
My prediction is a manipulative “yes but…” answer. I bet that Hamas is feeling very cornered right now. On one hand the IDF is tightening the noose and now the political noose is moving from Israel to them. God is Great! This may be a brilliant strategic move of Trump.
I also know that there are aspects of the plan that originated from Israel.
–The Apology: Trump had Bibi talk with the Qatari Leader. Bibi apologized for the recent attack in Qatar and specifically for the death of a Qatari man and interfering with the negotiation that Qatar was conducting and violation of their sovereignty. He promised to avoid attacking in the future.
This is a statement from the White House so I can’t tell if it’s an accurate description of the conversation. It’s not a description from Israel. Following it there was a wave of criticisms against Bibi in Israel. Qatar never condemned the 10/7 massacre and were financiers of Hamas. They also responsible for a lot of the anti Israel Propaganda in the world and antisemitism.
But when you dig in, there is more to it. The subject of israeli grievances with Qatar was mentioned. About their Al Jazeera contribution to the hate against Israel, about their financing riots in Collages in the US ,s upport of the Muslim Brotherhood and more.
Trump, Bibi and the Qatari leader agreed to form a committee with the US involved to discuss and handle grievances. It’s hard to tell but this could potentially lead to a peace with Qatar and to a change in the international PR War. This could also make Hamas lose Qatar. I don’t know if it’s possible but this seems to be what Trump wants.
-A report from Russia that Qatar may kick out the Hamas leadership if they refuse to accept the deal. Out of Qatar.
-A broad support of the Trump plan from the Arab/Muslim nations : Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc…. They made a statement that emphasize the withdraw of the IDF, the end of the war, the motion towards a Palestinian State, etc… But they support the plan that is a huge pressure on Hamas to accept it.
-Hamas is saying that they will seriously examine the proposal.
-West Europe is onboard. France is saying that Hamas must let the hostages go. Italy is supporting and others too.
-Israeli main stream politics and most of the opposition support the plan. It will have a very strong majority vote if needed.
-Trump made a mention on “those nations who had good relations with Israel prospered and the others suffered”. Looks like a reference to “God will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you”.
-Bibi took off back to Israel. In a short video he says: “A very good visit, historic, instead that the Hamas will isolate us, we turned it around and isolated the Hamas. Now all the world including the Arabs is pressuring Hamas to accept the terms that we posed together with President Trump. To return all our hostages while the IDF stays in most of Gaza. And the President added that if Hamas will refuse he will give us all the backup to complete the military operation to destroy Hamas.” Note that the IDF will retreat , but over a long time and only a bit after receiving the hostages.

THe key has always been the Arab nations supporting the terrorists and not letting anyone leave Gaza. The Arab nations supporting this plan may break Hamas…….if they support the plan over time.

Interesting video. Thanks for sharing. But the guy is trying too hard to be neutral and polite. In reality they brought death and destruction wherever they came. They tend to be violent.
It’s true that in 1948 was what they call “The Nakba” (the disaster) when some 700,000 left their homes and were not let back in. The Palestinians present it as the result of “expulsion and injustice”. In reality they together with some 6 or so Arab nations opened one of the bloodiest wars against Israel on the day of Declaration of Independence.
In reality they were fighting the Jews even before and were targeting civilians regularly. In reality their key leader The Great Mufti Al Amin El Husseini was a regular guest and an ally of the Nazis in the late 30th. A friend of Hitler.
So in the war 45-50% left because of fear (in one village , Dir Yasin which had 600 citizens, 100-120 were killed including civilians, the village was attacked in order to open the route to Jerusalem that was under siege, the Israeli force was from the “far right”. There is a dispute as to why civilians got killed, the arabs say it was a massacre. This event triggered fear and was a part of the reasons why many fled) , 10-15% left because Arab leaders called them to leave “until the Jews are slaughtered then they can return”, 30-40% left because of Israeli forces in the war who pushed them out at time of war.
Ben Gurion the Israeli leader prevented their return. So I can understand their upset. But in war when you attack you have consequences. Like other wars in history. For example see the consequences of the Native Americans who attacked the white settlers. If the attackers lose there are consequences.
But in history refugees get assimilated. But UNRAW (the UN) has taken active part in perpetuating their refugee status and educating them in schools to desire to return and conquer Israel. So now the 700,000 became 6 millions who were educated to fight Israel for “just reasons” or to desire to return.
Now third and fifth generations are keeping their “refugee status” unlike any other refugees in the world. So for example a fifth generation baby born in NYC or Paris is still a “refugee” and the Palestinians claim his “right of return”. But if Israel that has some 8 million Jews and 2 million Muslims will allow 6 million to “return” then Israel will be wiped out and this is what they want.
The other aspect is that the Arab nations who lost war after war in their attempts to wipe Israel out now have a new strategy and it is the Palestinians. When Jordan had the West Bank until 1967 and Egypt had Gaza until 1967, you never heard of a Palestinian desire for a nation. All of a sudden after the Jews won the Six Days War in 67 years latter the Palestinians started to claim a nation of their own instead of Israel.
The Arab nations who host Palestinians could assimilate them if they wanted.

There is a theme in Russian culture about identifying with the stature of trees, and this is one such song, written from the perspective of a Rowan tree (a woman) longing to be close to and touching an Oak tree (a man).

The festival was ok. I have decided not to participate in the future after performing 5 or 6 years.
The hair rising drive through a crowd of thousands of people to play for free for 45 minutes while restaurants and vendors make a killing that day is something that I no longer wish to participate in.
About a week later, I went downtown in the community I live in and busked in the Market Square for a few hours on a Sunday morning and really enjoyed it. Tuesday, September 30. It’s Fall, and leaves are turning.
[If you are wondering what you will do without your Tylenol, consider Yucca. This was written at least 25 years ago by John W Jones, MD, MPH. My changes are in brackets.]
Consider Yucca [schidigera] instead of NSAIDs. Yucca contains polyphenols and other stilbenes which have anti-inflammatory activity. It has been used in the treatment of arthritis and other joint pain. It lowers total cholesterol LDL and normalizes elevated triglycerides. NSAIDs have many problematic side effects, especially for at-risk persons.
I recommend that 2 Yucca capsules be taken 3 or 4 times per day as needed for pain. [the product Dr Jones recommended: Yucca (Yucca Schidigera) 400 mg. 4:1 Concentrate (equivalent to 1600 mg whole herb). ]
• Combat pain without using OTC drugs.
• Regular use lowers total cholesterol and increases the HDL fraction (the good cholesterol).
• Yucca has anti protozoal activity and has inhibitory action against Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans.
• Yucca phenolics are also anti-oxidants and free-radical scavengers.
Yucca schidigera is a plant native to Mexico and the desert southwest US. American Indians used it for sores, wounds, skin diseases, sprains and broken limbs. It is well known for its more recent use in with painful bone and joint conditions and hyper-lipidemia. It is also very effective for relief of the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
Yucca is a rich source of steroidal saponins. Saponins have diverse biological effects, including anti-protozoal activity. The anti protozoal activity may explain some of the anti-arthritic properties by suppressing intestinal protozoa which may have a role in joint inflammation. It also has two spiro stanol glycosides that have inhibitory activity against Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans.
Yucca is also a rich source of polyphenolics, including resveratrol (the substance thought to be responsible for the French paradox) and a number of other stilbenes which have anti-inflammatory activity. They are inhibitors of the nuclear transcription factor NFkappaB. which causes formation of the inflammatory agent nitric oxide. These phenolics were shown to inhibit COX-1, COX-2, and LTB 4 formation.
Yucca phenolics are also anti-oxidants and free-radical scavengers. In several studies yucca has been shown to lower total cholesterol, lower LDL cholesterol and normalizing elevated triglycerides.
Yucca plants are generally considered safe when used in traditional doses based on several hundred years of use by Native Americans, both as food and medicine. A human clinical trial to test the efficacy of a yucca saponin extract for treating arthritic symptoms was give to more than 700 arthritis patients and no signs of toxicity were documented

I am in need of some help. The battery on my riding mower needs to be charged. Normally, this is not a problem but I have run into a situation that is beyond my knowledge. The battery is located in the front of the mower, just behind the engine.
I had taken it in for some work earlier this summer and just now discovered that one of the nut and bolt that secures the cables to the battery is not a bolt. It does not have a head on it but is flat so I can’t secure it to keep from turning as I unscrew the nut.
I have removed the nut and bolt on the black cable but am unable to remove the nut and bolt from the red cable.
My question. Can I connect the battery to my charger with the red cable still attached to the battery and charge it?
Unfortunately, the person who normally helps me with this is up in the mountains east of Fresno, CA, helping put out a forest fire and won’t be back here for several weeks or so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to harm the battery. Believe me, I am no mechanic!

Thanks, I thought they had to be disconnected first. Less work for me to not have to disconnect them.
You can hook up a charger with both ground and hot cable on. Just make sure your connections are good. Most batteries in mowers are 12 Volt these days but make sure yours is not a 6 Volt before you hook up.
If the battery has been run down really low I would suggest you start out with a 2 amp trickle charge if you charger has that option. I have had my cheap charger show a battery was bad and it would not take a charge and then I hooked my higher tech charger with all the bells and whistles to it and used to trickle charge for 6 hours or so to get it to take a charge before ramping up the charging voltage to 30 amps.
I always wear eye protection when hooking to charge a vehicle battery.
Also, checking your cell fluid levels if you don’t have a sealed battery is a good idea before charging.

I almost forgot. The terminal with the flat head on one side and a nut on the other is more tan likely using a carriage bolt.

Bring back the old height and weight standards that were put in place after President Reagan took over. I don’t give a darn what your job/MOS is. The simple fact is that combat experience has demonstrated time and again that there are times when commanders have to go all in and cooks and clerks end up serving as infantry. It is the nature of war.
In SF we were required to meet the height and weight standards for 18 y/o no matter what our age. Now there are those who because of their build that could not meet the height to weight standard even though they were in excellent physical condition. Those individuals were took what was commonly called “the pinch test”. It was a test to determine the percentage of body fat and had it’s own standards which I don’t remember because I only took it once when it was not required just to see what my percentage of body fat was even though I had easily met the height to weight standard. My body fat percentage was 3%. I was 6′ and weighed 184 lb.
We in SF were also required to meet the minimum standards on the APRT (Army Physical Readiness Test) for the 17-21 y/o male age group regardless of age. We in 10th SFG (A) also had the Trojan test and we did it the same day we did the APRT.
And fitness in even general officers is an absolute necessity. During WW II during 1944-45 in Europe, more Division and Corp commanders were relieved due to health problems or exhaustion than for failure to perform.

Most recently, I am proud to have taken over Ambassador Huckabee’s show on TBN where we continually support Israel and the Jewish people. As Muhammadism spreads into Western societies, it’s critical that Jews and Christians stay united in the effort to contain and roll back radical Islam and Sharia law.
I regret to report that anti-Israel and anti-Semitic trends are at record levels on social media. These negative sentiments then flow downstream into college campuses and even seep into the conservative MAGA community.
My team and I have spent months analyzing these trends and debating ideas that could help you and your country push back against these disturbing developments. Anti-Israel sentiment can undermine American support for Israel. The purpose of this letter is to lay out our concerns and outline potential remedies. Everything written here is from a place of deep love for Israel and the Jewish people. I think it’s important to be brutally honest with those you love. In my opinion, Israel is losing the information war and needs a “communications intervention.”
I started to compose this letter to you on Easter. I should have been focused on my family, but I was getting bombarded with messages about the Israeli army making it difficult for Christians to access church in Jerusalem on Easter. At the time, I did not see any official statements pushing back on this narrative. It was frustrating because pro-Israel surrogates like me should not be in charge of fact checking every piece of anti-Israel misinformation that pours into social media.
It wasn’t just Easter. On my recent campus tours, half the questions I get are about Israel and they’re all negative.
I often spend half my time on these campus tours defending Jews and Israel which I’m proud to do because I love Israel and love the Jewish faith. I spent endless hours with Dennis Prager over the years studying the Torah. Sometimes, it feels like I’m defending Israel in public more than your own government.
My experience on college campuses matches a recent Harvard Harris poll which reported 48% of 18-24 year old Americans support Hamas over Israel. Even in young MAGA circles, Israel is losing support. We are getting huge crowds of 4,000-5,000 students on some of my college tours. My campus visits are becoming like a rock concert atmosphere filled with conservative patriots. Yet, on these campus visits, I’m constantly confronted with:
“Israel is an apartheid state.”
“Why does Israel conduct ethnic cleansing?”
“Why is America subsidizing Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people?”
“Is American aid helping to subsidize Israel’s free health care?”
“Israel and the Jews are running U.S. foreign policy.”
“Israel and Jews are responsible for 9/11.”“Defending Israel is not in our U.S. national interest.”
“Why is Israel trying to drag us into a war in the Middle East?”
Above are just a sampling of the negative Israel/Jewish comments and questions I confront on college campuses. I’m accused of being a paid apologist for Israel when I defend her; however, if I don’t defend Israel strongly enough, I’m accused of being anti-semitic. I know you’ve got a 7 front war and my kvetching pales in comparison. But I’m trying to convey to you that Israel is losing support even in conservative circles. This should be a 5 alarm fire.
I’m often asked, “Why is Israel killing so many innocent civilians in Gaza?” I know Israel goes to great lengths by dropping flyers and even calling civilians to clear out of areas about to be bombed. I know Israel posts maps showing which areas should be evacuated. I know that Hamas uses civilians as human shields.
But 90% of the younger generations get their news from social media and podcasts and there is very little pushback or fact checking by the Israeli government and/or pro-Israel supporters in the media (especially social media).
I strongly suggest Israel NOT always depend on “subcontracting” their information war efforts to surrogates in America. Mr. Prime Minister, I urge you to REVAMP your information warfare strategy from top to bottom. Sometimes, the impression is given that Israel thinks everyone hates them so why care about winning over hearts and minds? If there’s any truth to this impression, I urge you to consider that social media and podcasts is where you fight for the hearts and minds of the younger generation. Obviously, all this negative Israel propaganda on social media easily translates into pro-Hamas “Free Palestine” sentiment on many college campuses.
Here are some unsolicited recommendations my team and I suggest if you’re open-minded to a communications reset:
Build a rapid response media team.
Put together pro-Israel experts who can fact-check misinformation in real time.
Launch an “Israel Truth Network” (ITN) with centralized, sharable resources.
Invite released hostages on a U.S. speaking tour to tell the truth about Hamas.
Interview everyday Israelis — Jewish, Arab, Druze, religious, secular — to show the world who Israel really is.
Do a better job explaining the Iranian threat — in Israel’s own voice, not just through Americans.
Rebuild Israel’s social media presence like a political campaign — define the “candidate,” fight back in the first person, and stop retreating from the battlefield of ideas.
Mr. Prime Minister, stop this retreat — get in the information war fight! The front lines of this war are on social media. Other than a few guerrilla operations, there’s very little Israel-created content. I saw that Israel has increased its Hasbara budget by 20x — now use it to create ORIGINAL content and blast it everywhere.
To sum up: Israel must reshape its communication strategy as a political campaign HQ for truth. Fill it with young fighters who know the digital battlefield. Stop letting enemies define Israel. Start defining her yourself.
Israel has enormous capabilities — use them. From my vantage point, the status quo is not working. Israel is getting CRUSHED on social media and you are losing younger generations of Americans, even among MAGA conservatives. In my opinion, you are losing the information war which will eventually translate into less political and military support from America.
