Yes, I remember several of these whistleblowers testifying during a hearing before Congress. Their stories were heartbreaking. I’m so very happy that they are receiving the justice (and money) that is due them. (Unfortunately, our tax dollars and not money from their evil bosses is being used to make them whole again).
More and more Americans are starting to realize the Democrat Party is a Political Party which is pro-crime. It is like a hidden image in a painting and once you see it, you never miss seeing it from now on.
Actually, the Democratic Party is itself a criminal enterprise, in my opinion.
The Fake News has their “panties all up in a wad” about the bruises on the back of President Trump’s hands, suggesting that it is an indication of some underlying, chronic disease (or maybe he is just a wife-beater?)
I didn’t have to think once to realize what the bruises were. We used to (and still do?) call them “age spots”. I was surprised myself as I grew older to discover that not only do I bruise very easily, but I magically get bruises when I do nothing that would case a bruise. They’re called Old Age Spots. BTW: They go away as magically, if more slowly, as they appear!
Still the Fake News still insists on making the condition sound very scary: “President Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, what Barbabella said is a “benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70,” but testing showed “there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or arterial disease.”

As OK! reported, the POTUS’ health was in the headlines yet again after he went on a golf outing with Roger Clemens and his son Kacy Clemens, as a new bruise was spotted on his hand in a video Kacy shared to social media.
When asked about the bruise, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt gave a similar answer to ones she’s given in the past.
Karoline explained Donald was diagnosed with “chronic venous insufficiency,” which she noted was “benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.”

Personally, I don’t see a contradiction in Emerald’s comments. The Chinese come to study STEM subjects not gender studies and other financially worthless degrees (where $300k in tuition nets you a job with an annual salary of $45k). The Chinese are displacing Americans who want to study engineering and other challenging subjects which potentially open the door for the American Dream not a gig as a barista. Conversely, more of our students who lack the academic aptitude or desire for a white collar job should consider trade schools. Union pipefitters can reportedly earn $100k now.
Why would we reward the country that seeks to destroy us, sends us poison (fentanyl) and grows ad distributes neurotoxins (marijuana) in our country? We’ve already over-subsidized the universities via student loans. The universities should start using them endowments to cover any perceived shortfalls.
Someone got to him. This doesn’t make any sense. We certainly don’t need even 10,000 Chinese students in our country. Ban them all.

I think this level of desperation is real.
Ironically today, I was talking to a man while standing in line and we were talking about all this same thing, about how screwed up things are.
This man had a mouth full of bad teeth, this was noticeable.
He told me that he’s selling his house and moving into an RV as a means of reducing his housing down to just keeping a roof over his head so that he can free up income to 1. afford the medical insurance that is offered at his work.
And 2. get his teeth all fixed because he’s in so much pain its destroying his life.
It was hard not to cry listening to what this total stranger was telling me.
He said he’s in that gray area where he makes too much money for any assistance but yet he can’t afford to cover it all either.
He needs medical insurance because he’s in his late 50s now and has a long list of issues that he needs to get treatment for that have been ignored because he as no medical insurance.
He said if he doesn’t do all this, he feels like he’s going to die !!
So this poor man is going to live in an RV.
It’s hard to hear all this and know this is going on right now with Donald Trump in the White House.
I believe the video because I’m seeing this stuff going on too.
Getting saved will benefit enormously. Outside of that – change your diet, change your life and pray.

It is real, heartbreaking, and infuriating.
And from where I am sitting is at odds with what is being reported as America being “back!!”
I’ve never seen a picture which comports with how I am feeling these days as opposed to what I am seeing everywhere I look…
Truly, one of the forgotten men of this country.
I see desperation as well, mostly in older people, but also middle-aged people in jobs that grind them down and that don’t pay enough to cover the kind of expenses this person described.
Everything President Trump is doing will benefit people in general, and younger people, but there are people who are falling through the cracks. The sad thing is that President Trump can’t fix everything. He’s bringing the country back from the precipice.. But if these were normal times he would be tackling big problems like homelessness and the crumbling infrastructure, and hopefully be able to help people like the man you describe. John McCain was a monster to let Obamacare happen. We could have fixed the health system, or at least improved it, but no, he gave the vote that further ruined healthcare. Congress is full of despicable people and many Americans are paying the price now.
It was sad how President Trump was hampered in his first term. The saddest thing of all was the stolen 2020 election. What was done to this country in the last years — and especially the last four years — has hurt so many people, and it’s crushing people who were already living close to the edge.

and never:
-used cable tv
-used a/c (and it got hot, humid in the summer)
-went to restaurants for food
-heated all rooms. only heated a single room in the winter (to keep the water lines, fluid)

4 yrs ago, as inflation was rising and some said that the costs are not that much of a problem.
I said that some people would use credit cards to buffer the cost increases.
and that the credit card balances would rise.
4 years later, nationally, I think that credit card debts are very high – and the cc balance increases faster than the balance can be paid.

those 20% + c c interest rates almost make it impossible to reduce the debts. – without a friend lending a hand.]
It has happened before (post Carter pres). Some learn the hard way.

The older guy depicted in the original Cracker Barrel logo next to the barrel was a real guy. He was Uncle Hershel who loaned money to his nephew to start the restaurant chain. There was a meal on the breakfast menu called “Uncle Hershel’s Special.” This was a favorite breakfast meal of Hershel himself. Without Uncle Hershel, there would never have been a Cracker Barrel restaurant chain. My wife was a nurse who had the elderly Hershel as a nursing home patient at a nursing home near The Hermitage outside of Nashville TN. He was a handsome man, even in his declining years.

1) Troubling economic signs—two small businesses that were local institutions abruptly shut down today. One was a fast food joint that had been around for decades, and the other a distillery that had received national acclaim. Both closures came as a complete shock to the community.
2) I’ve seen more expired food on the shelves at multiple grocery stores than I have at any point in my life (including during major recessions). Product either isn’t moving or its moving incredibly slowly. Not a good economic sign.
3) The local Aldi and the local Mexican market have been jam-packed with foreigners in the past month at a level I have never seen before. My guess is that they’re fleeing the nearby red counties and states and coming here. Just reporting what I’m seeing; not criticizing deportation efforts.
