I sometimes envision locking these people up just like the J6 victims were, perhaps out on a floating naval ship and just keep loading them up as they are arrested. Let them sit there in solitary confinement and wait for it all to be sorted out. The more they talk the faster they get to trial but until then, holding them for the protection our national security is justified.

Back in the early 2000’s I used a few of those job application websites to look for a job. I never once was contacted by any company I submitted an application to. One day I decided to take the company information from the websites and look up their location. I then walked into the physical building and asked to fill out an application. I did this at least eight times and when all was said and done, I was offered employment at five of the eight.
I accepted a job with a scientific instrumentation company. On my first day I walked into the area where I would be working, it solidified my belief that foreigners with VISA’s were stretching further into job market and given preference over Americans.
Should be a national scandal indeed but I haven’t seen this story ANYWHERE else, which is beyond infuriating! Not only should all of these H1B workers be sent back to their home countries but ALL of their family members need to go back as well AND the companies that hired them (looking at you Gates and Bezos) need to be fined so much that they will never think about doing this again!!

Why someone is allowed to keep their security clearance(s) once they leave is a mystery to me. In the private sector (at least with well-run, large companies) your physical and electronic access ends once you “leave the building.” If these folks need a security clearance, they should reapply IMO.
Security clearances are reinstatable for two years after a debrief unless they are cancelled for violations or adverse information. Hopefully, these were cancelled and not just a debrief. Sounds like they were and that means these people no longer have a job.
