Sherry and I are going down.
Nikki sleeps a lot and when she wakes she is sometimes lucid and other times saying stuff out of her head and can get combative. Laura really needs help and Alison is upset of course.
Tomorrow afternoon around 4-5 PM I we will depart driving. I intend to drive straight through.
By leaving in the late afternoon I miss high traffic times at Louisville, Nashville, and most importantly will be passing through Atlanta at midnight or later.
We’re booked that the Daytona Beach Hilton. Since it is off season the room is $100.00 per night. I will stay 5 days and drive back home, if it looks like it will be awhile before Nikki passes. Sherry will stay to help with Nikki. Will be taking a blow up mattress for Sherry to sleep on while at their house.
Jimmy will be here taking care of the dogs at our house while we’re gone.
When the time appears near Sherry will call and I will drive back down.
It’s the best plan we can come up with and Sherry is the one who decided this is the way it will be done.
I Pray that no other complication like a hurricane comes up.

Been there, rah. Y’all are doing good. Do you also have hospice or if not have you considered getting hospice help? Although our circumstances were very different hospice was a huge help when my wife was passing. Praying for you and your family, my friend.
Yes, she has HOSPIS, but they show up just two or three times a week or if called if there is some problem. Laura has to drive Alson to school and then pick her up. Plus grocery shop and just do the normal stuff required to maintain a household. So Sherry’s help will be invaluable for her. Pluse Alison and her Mama Sherry have a very special bond since Sherry provided day care and preschool when both the girls were working. And of course Nikki really wants to see her Mom & Dad. So we’re doing what we can, and that will go double for Sherry.
Every parent’s nightmare. Words aren’t sufficient.
Hang in there rah.

As far as getting a clean link, the best way is to go to the page that you want everybody else to read and simply copy the URL at the top of that page in the browser. But make sure that is not the URL that was in an email. If the author sends you emails that have links in them to go to a browser to read his articles, those links contain all sorts of referral information to tell him where you came from in the Internet. You don’t want that. Once you get to his page, refresh the page right where it is so that it gets rid of all the email garbage that’s in the link. Or go to his homepage and search for the article again from there, and once you’re on that article page, then copy the URL link at the top. That’s the one you want to paste in a comment block here in CTH.
