Many years ago I actually worked in the white house and and thus I occasionally saw the Presidents coming and goings first hand but from the bacvkground. This was a limited access, invite only, totally screened, secure evant and thus security is not readily apparent from a camera view,, much like meetings in the oval office (you do not much see secret servic agents).. Ouiside is just as secure and there is an overlook (snipers and spotters) instantly ready to react. That said while you do not see it, it is as secure as secure is possible. Frankly I was more concerned the time the boom mike brushed up against him, but if you watch carefully none now get within 2 feet of him.
