What Elon and may others seem to fail to realize is that MAGA is a third party working inside the Republican Party to transform it into the party of it’s conservative vision.

Quite frankly I find this all or nothing NOW or we’re taking our toys home stuff from ELON others, dumb! Rome was not built in a day, and a third part will only empower the democrat socialist perverts. It is no different than the ‘I didn’t like how things turned out and since I’m a real conservative, I won’t be voting in the next election’. The effect is the same, if not worse. And always before all it means is that we Conservatives lose power and Trump’s head goes on the chopping block.

Hell yea, I HATE what the Senate did to the BBB. But I also realize that by changing 20 seats or so in the Senate to conservatives, we could pass the stuff they screwed us out of. We are closer to reaching what we want than we were in 2016, MUCH closer. The RINO contingent is weaker now than I can ever remember it being.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

When my wife was in hospice care, she kept asking me about the old oak tree in our front yard. “Promise me you’ll never cut it down,” she’d whisper, her voice barely audible. “That’s where we carved our initials 30 years ago. That’s where you proposed. Promise me it’ll always be there.”

I promised, not knowing that three months after we lost her, the city would condemn the tree. Root rot, they said. Safety hazard. It had to come down.

I fought them for weeks, but in the end, I had to watch as they cut down the last physical reminder of our love story. I saved every piece of that tree I could, stacking the wood in my garage like I was hoarding memories.

For two years, I couldn’t bring myself to touch it. Then one day, I saw a post about someone who’d turned their grandfather’s barn wood into furniture. Something clicked.

I taught myself woodworking through YouTube videos and late-night practice sessions. Every cut, every curve of that tree became part of this door. The branches that once held our initials now welcome everyone who enters our home.

The glass panel holds river rocks from the stream where we had our first date. When the light hits it just right, those stones look like they’re floating, suspended in time like my memories of her.

Now when people ask about the door, I tell them it’s made from love. Literally. Every grain of wood holds 30 years of marriage, and every time I walk through it, I feel her presence.

She kept her promise to always be here. And I kept mine to never let that tree truly die.”

Hello friends. Tennessee Valley Authority is seeking public input TVA proposed nearly 1,000 acres of solar farm in nearby Colbert County. Urban Grid and Spring Valley Solar have been identified as the companies TVA plans to use. I checked out both websites which has lots of global platitudes in describing what they do. Not specifically for this project. TVA has the highest paid Fed employee for CEO. The options for this project are all or nothing. I have sketchy feelings about it. Urban Grid has other projects around the US. Anyone know anything about these groups? Have any words of wisdom?

A month or so ago the gov. started doing some deporation raids in/around Bakersfield, CA. When the news hit the local airwaves it was like day and night. Living near Porterville, CA, about 45 minutes north of Bakersfield, the impact was huge.

I had stopped going to Walmart altogether because it was like shopping in a third world, No English spoken, dirty store.

But ever since the raids started Walmart has changed 180 degrees! English is the only language you hear. The store is clean and the products are on the shelves, not spread around on the floors. Just amazing.

Every time I go there now I am always able to park within 6-8 parking spaces of the doors. No more parking in the south 40 and walking what seems like forever in the 100+ degree days to get to the store.

It feels and looks like America again.

My brother Max and I went down to Indy and got the cabinets I bought today at a warehouse for Indiana University. They’re darn near perfect! Slight mar on the back of one and that’s it. Their now sitting where they’re going to be but before I start adjusting shelves and loading them up I’ll have to adjust the feet to level them.

Max brought one of his gas powered golf carts over for Sherry and I to use and I spent some time in the old garage moving stuff around and sweeping part of the floor so it is now parked inside that garage. Since I have moved my air compressor out of the old garage and put it in it’s intended place in the new garage I was able to make just enough room to get the thing in there.

Still haven’t cut up that section of tree the storm dropped in my side yard. Been waiting for cooler weather. This morning would have been perfect for that if Max and I hadn’t already planned to go get the cabinets. By the time we got back it was sunny and though not nearly as humid as it has been, I had other things to do.

Both trash cans out by the road for pickup tomorrow. The spare one filled with stuff from the old garage. Did get some tools and stuff moved and found a nearly full tube of dielectric silicone that I had forgotten about. Stuff ain’t cheap but it is the best stuff for battery terminals and making vehicle and trailer light connections waterproof. It is now in a small drawer of my tool box with the electrical outlet and connection testing stuff.

My neighbor Todd, two doors down to the south is in charge of doing the roofing for Mustin Builders. Mustin is who built our new garage and sun room. 

Twice this year we have had high winds coming out of the due south and my garage’s gable ridge runs due East-West. Thus the shingles on the southern exposure of the garage are most liable to be peeled off from a south wind. I know we got 80 mph wind during the first heavy storm we had this year. 

I asked Todd how my shingles held up so well without a single one peeled back when that new roof had not seen a really hot day yet so the asphalt could get it’s best adhesion. 

Todd said the new top of the line dimensional shingles are rated to take 130 mph winds without peeling back. These new shingles have a 50 year life expectancy. The best available when I re-roofed the house 10 years ago had a 30 year life expectancy. Of course Todds crew do the best work also.
