The man suspected of killing a Minnesota lawmaker and wounding another crawled to SWAT police officers in surrender Sunday after they located him in the woods near his home. Vance Boelter was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and two of attempted murder.
Boelter is accused of posing as a police officer and fatally shooting former Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, in their home early Saturday in the northern Minneapolis suburbs. Authorities say he also shot Sen. John Hoffman, a Democrat, and his wife, Yvette; both injured at their residence about 9 miles away. Boelter’s capture brings an end to a nearly two-day search.

So, let me share what I shared yesterday. His first cousin, my friend, said that Boelter grew up a conservative Christian who was prolife. As of yesterday, it was still his understanding that he and his wife were both still prolife and they had five kids, the youngest just graduated high school.
As I noted above, his cousin also said that he went from conservative Christianity years ago to some weird religion that his family did not understand when Boelter described it to them.
As I think about it and watch The Benny Show about this right now, I have become convinced Boelter is NOT the shooter.
Smells like a leftist trying to spread a cover story to muddy the water.
There are two major red herrings in this story (1) that the assailant was pro life, and that therefore the shootings were carried out with that primary motivation, (2) that state senator Hoffman DID NOT vote to end healthcare for illegal alien adults as did his colleague Melissa Hortman, and that therefore his shooting makes no sense if in fact Hortman’s killing was predicated on her vote to discontinue healthcare coverage for illegal alien adults.
Neither of these two facts provides any light or insight into what the likely cause of this brutality was.
Rather clarity is provided by the fact that the MN state senate was divided 34-33 in favor of the liberal DFL Party, and that DFL member Melissa Hortman’s vote, in concert with that of Republicans caused the passage of a transcendently important policy shift away from immigrant-friendly legislation.
Further clarity comes from ignoring the fact that Melissa Hortman’s DFL colleague Hoffman DID NOT VOTE for stripping health coverage from adult illegal aliens as did Hortman, but rather focusing on a critically important fact about Senator Hoffman, i.e., although he was from the DFL Party, he was a known maverick with strong tendencies to side with Republicans on an array of issues that were and are still pending in the MN Senate. For instance, X’s AI system, Grok, states the following:
“Hoffman was the lone DFL senator to vote with Republicans against the Omnibus Bill THREE WEEKS before June 14, 2025. The bill likely involved ENVIRONMENTAL OR LEGACY FUNDING.”
For those interested, the bill was: HF2563 Clean Water, Land and Legacy Omnibus Bill, 2025.
Again, the 34-33 division in the MN Senate, followed by major crossover votes by both Hortman and Hoffman is sufficient probable cause to suspect that someone wished to send a chilling message to the remaining DFL members that such crossover votes on such critically important legislation in the closely- divided MN Senate WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
In my opinion, police investigative units should probe the DFL Party for clues. I believe the rot is found there!

The acting US Attorney just gave out a bunch of info that either contradicted or was missing from local media and Tampons blathering.
There is no manifesto, there were 4 legislators not 2 this guy tried to kill, and the US attorney said that he could NOT yet state what the motivation was other than murder and a bunch of democrats on a list. He also revealed that the bullet ridden door shown by the media as the Hoffmans was actually the Hortmans. They don’t know yet why he had multiple “No Kings” flyers in his vehicle.
I read that Hoffman did not vote for the bill, but abstained. To me this does not invalidate the theory that he was killed for being to friendly to the GOP.

I’ve seen the picture of the disguised perp and the picture of Boelter and they appear to be two different people. For me it’s the body shape along with the head shape. Also the perp appears to be in fairly good physical shape vs Boelter who appears to be a little heavy along with maybe being taller then the perp. HOWEVER, the description of what Boelter has done throughout his life i.e. his sort of resume of his life’s work. He looks like an operative. Meaning a person that does various jobs for the government but is not directly employed by the government.

Being hearing impaired myself(1), I can tell you this, most modern day televisions have Closed Captions built in. I have used it, but I do not like it because of the time delay. So a sign language person is a complete waste. Besides, some sign language people, from what I have read, are not even signing correctly.
Instead, I prefer a WiFi or Bluetooth speaker with volume control close to my chair for whenever we do occasionally watch a movie. Even then it is still extremely frustrating because of the loud music overwhelming the voices.

I have had tinnitus (ringing in my ears) since the late 1960s or early 1970s that slowly grew louder over the years. By 2018 the ringing was so loud that it was effecting my behavior and sleep so I finally went to an audiologist and discovered;
In one ear I am missing 3 different high tones and 2 different low tones.
In the other ear I am missing 2 different high tones and 1 low tone.
Hearing Aids help tremendously. The first set of hearing aids were a miracle. I did not know that a swarm of gnats made a sound. The second set are driving me Nuts. I have to turn the volume Full Up, and drive the Treble full up to have a conversation with my wife. At those settings, if anything comes close to either of my ears then they have the Feedback Whistle.
The reason for the long footnote is this;
Hopefully, someone else, who has said what I said for about 50 years; “I can hear as well as any man my age.” will shut up and go to an audiologist. You will be surprised by what you are missing. Also, you family and friends will appreciate not having to repeat everything they say to you.
By the way, because I am technically hearing impaired, the wonderful and generous people of The Great State of Texas give me a “Communication Device” (a tablet) so that I can send and receive messages (eMails or Text) every five years. So for any of the Texans out there who might read this;

a MN grand jury would subsequently gather in the next week or so, to review the current facts.
The grand jury could alter the charge(s) one way, or another that may apply to the cause of each of the 4 victims ( 2 died, 2 living ) and other related, not legal, activity.

I’ve been a juror in 3 jury cases here in Minnesota, two of which were in downtown Minneapolis. I’ve seen firsthand and upclose how everything is pulled to the left in our court system.
Just as with the George Floyd debacle, I can only imagine a Minnesota grand jury will swing left, too.
Because the mockingbird media has spent years projecting that the conservatives are the violent ones, even to the point of needing agitators and first assaults by the Capitol police on J6 for their narrative, we have become a little knee-jerk about the very accusation.
In general conservatives are inherently law-abiding and provably more God-fearing.
So we naturally object when someone who *might* be on the right commits a violent act; we’re so accustomed to the intentional projection that we find it hard to accept.
This instance may be the exception, though clearly it’s early and the information made available to date appears to have been massaged.

Around 15 years ago a family in the Twin Cities was murdered by what seemed like a professional hitman. Neighbors didn’t noticed anything unusual with the family or their home, and it wasn’t until a family member noticed no one was calling or answering calls that they discovered the deaths.
The interesting thing was that the husband had been working on some type of documentary that was about to disclose a bunch of big/bad stuff, so the hit seemed to be an obvious way to make sure anyone else involved with it kept their mouth shut.

What prompted the police to do a “Well Being Check” on former Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman?
There is absolutely no mention of the police doing a “Well Being Check” on any of the other Minnesota congressmen. So what did they know that prompted them to go to the Hortman home?
A local police sargent suggested it.

I too thought it strange that the sgt knew where to look. I’m not bothered that a cop has the initiative to proactively guess where crimes may take place, that’s what we want to see them do. I am confused how they know where the politician lives. Maybe that’s something local cops just know? Or maybe he knew them personally?

When a crime is committed,
-sometimes a few resources are applied to solve / capture the perpetrator
-a few other times, A LOT of resources are applied to solve / capture the perpetrator
And pretty much in both situations, the law enforcement will say that:
‘they are working to solve the case’
or
they ‘can’t say because its under investigation’
– which both may be the case,
but we know that ‘some cases’ become a higher priority to solve, than others.
Just what are those relative priorities?
