As a person who has an afflicted family member, there is a high probability Musk is suffering from hypomania and is having manic episodes. Drug use, whether elicit or not, will make it more intense and unpredictable.
The manic episodes can produce greatness or destruction. Product of manic episodes is kind of like a gun, can result in good or bad outcomes depending on how used.

As a member of a hyperintelligent family, I have this observation:
Hyper-intelligent people are often socially awkward, because they THINK differently than others. Often, they’re lonely. They have no one that understands what goes on in their heads. They have trouble communicating this, having those with whom they can connect on a deep level.
And they THINK ALL THE TIME. THEY ARE UNIQUE. Their brains never turn off. They play to their strong suit (men, especially), their mind, and therefore, other parts of their being may suffer from being unbalanced & underdeveloped.
But at core, they are deeply lonely, and don’t know it. No amount of external success, being surrounded with people, etc will fill that hole. Add drugs, and it’s a perfect setup for erratic behavior.
IMO, Elon needs God. God made Elon, and gave him that marvelous brain, & knows EXACTLY what Elon needs. So I’ll pray for that.

I agree with you in the name of Jesus regarding your prayer for Elon Musk.
Plus add in ego, for months he was the cats meow being the rock star of DOGE and the WH, traveling around the US and world as part of The Team. To realize it is over doesn’t help, even though he knew the day was coming. In theory he is used to fame and fortune but this time around I think it was different for him. There was the l-o-v-e of the MAGA people. I will never forget his bouncy jump on the stage at Butler. Energy of a crowd like that brings a natural endorphin high that no drug can bring.
The addiction to all that is why politicians never go away, they love being important, they love being on camera, they love the attention, the parties/fund raisers w/the schmoozing. I have seen it so many times on the podunk local level, I cannot fathom what it is like for Elon, and you add the things you have mentioned, the guy popped like a weasel.
And then there is the corruption part as he is a tool and he broke like a piece of shattered glass. His people will have a hard time picking up the shards.

there is always hope and the power of prayer. I encourage all to pray for Elon, because its just the right thing to do. not because he’s rich. not because he’s doge. But because it’s obvious he has made a great and outrageous error for the entire world to see.
it’s easy for all of us to judge him and we should. But also, we should pray that he finds peace, gets off the drugs, and finds faith in God.
I’ve seen much worse behavior and redemption too.

I pray for him because it’s the right thing to do.
I pray for zelensky, Putin, massie, graham and the list goes on. these people are not squared away, but they hold great power of leverage that can have an incredible impact on all of our lives.

Elon Musk Takes Ketamine to Help Treat Depression: Does It Work?
Elon Musk revealed that he takes ketamine for depression in a recent interview with former CNN host Don Lemon.
The tech mogul told Lemon that he hoped by speaking out about the drug that it might “help other people.”
While remaining generally tight-lipped about the specifics, Musk did have this to say about his ketamine usage in the interview:
“There are times when I have a sort of negative chemical state in my brain, like depression, I guess — depression that’s not linked to any negative news. Ketamine is helpful for getting one out of a negative frame of mind.”
Experts contacted by Healthline agreed that Musk’s revelation would certainly help to raise the profile of the drug and its reputation as a treatment for depression.
However, they also noted reservations that it might lead to misuse outside appropriate medical and psychiatric settings.

He also took the fat shot. I know people that have had some issues taking Ozempic, not all were physical. They said they felt weird, altered thinking, sleep patterns changed, said they were not themselves. Three stopped taking it due to various side effects.
I will tell you something right now that I haven’t seen posted once. Which tells me nobody knows this drug that well.
There is a certain phase of taking too much Ketamine called a K-hole. It literally displaces you from reality.
Best way I can describe it is, you clearly know the world is going on around you, but you don’t give a flying wolinda about that world. You are in your own “hole” or “world”. And in that brief period of time, you don’t care about a single thing on earth, other than your return to earth.
If you go too far down the K-hole, you actually lose clear vision. Best way to describe it is like the movie Superman, with Christopher Reeves. When he puts the bad guys in a flat square box/trap and they are flattened and sent into space.
If he is truly on that drug, that is very concerning. Too each their own, except when you’re hob knobbing with the President of the United States.

That being said, I’ve never seen his behavior in public EVER match what Ketamine abuse looks like. Very strange turn of events…. His posts however, are something I could see someone near a K-hole posting. His reality was collapsing, publicly and privately.
it is a psychoactive drug. It is also addictive in the same ways that cocaine and opium and meth are also addictive. What I mean is that it doesn’t work at or give the kind of coping pleasure and focus, unless you take more and more. And then you get to experience the roller coaster ride. It’s a sick drug. And it’s deadly. To the user, addicted, the tendency is to take more and more and then when that no longer works and you crash and rapidly regress down into a physical and chemical induced depression, then you start looking for other drugs. And I am not simply talking about taking other chemicals. Often the ketamine fiend will find coping in manic behavior as a means to get “high”. people tend to forget the body IS fully capable of getting you “high” through the behavior of acting like a complete ass hole and aggression tends to be the state that gets that achieved. It’s no coincidence that people who have worked their drugs commit horrible acts of behavior. It is this state they can actually achieve a different “replacement” high. To make things worse, a person with spectrum autism and Asperger’s will almost always behave in a self sabotaging way, make very bad outburts, with little self awareness, and at the extreme can become violent and a sadist/masochist. Elon should stop taking these drugs. Get medical care and stay clean and do other things to control his problems. He has the means, but someone, that he can trust has to give him that advice, grab him by the shoulders look him in the eye and tell him that
I LOVE YOU. I want you to be YOURSELF.
I think President Trump has the best odds of doing just that, and I pray he will. I think that Elon will listen. I think President Trump has that kind of empathy and caring about another human being who obviously needs help.

Ketamine can have great effects. Good therapeutic effects. I have seen it in patients prescribe it in controlled situations. I have patients who participated in studies at the VA for street drug addiction, addiction to pain medications in severe chronic pain situations, treatment for depression, and treatment for depression.
There are some programs costing a lot of money for the package of drug administration and pre- post- therapy sessions.
The difference is dramatic, and most were amazed at the good results. But everyone that I had that went through these programs did not have lasting effects.
Experienced and academic psychiatrists that I have talked to have indicated the initial effects are promising, but lasting effects disappointing.
If Elon is using ketamine, I hope he is under the care and direction of experienced physicians and counselors.
12 step programs (or similar programs with the same elements) when used as foundational and long term indefinite follow up, make long term data much better in studies on most medication assisted programs.
12 Steps ( AA Alcoholics Anonymous) came out of the Oxford group (a group of theologians trying to apply the principles of Christian discipleship gleaned from the Bible). It is my belief that intense discipleship as practiced the early Church is the most powerful teaching, developmental, stabilizing, and therapeutic force on earth and any level you look at it: Social, intellectual, spiritual, physical, neurochemical. I think in matches the optimization of expression of our DNA.
One of the beautiful things I saw for a while in the relationship with Trump and Musk was fellowship, brother hood. They both had strengths and were mentoring each other. I think the opportunity Elon had and that Donald Trump extended to him was a rare opportunity to him.
I pray for them. I pray for the return of fellowship in our Nation, and in the world. The greatest damage of Covid to our world was the destruction of many networks of fellowship.
We all need God in our lives – can’t make it without Him.

My dear Dad passed away at 44 years old; we kids were 20 (my big brother), 16 (myself) and 14 (my little brother).
Dad had cirrhosis of the liver already when he was one of the people who supposedly caught the Hong Kong flu in the winter of 1968 and then pneumonia, but it was actually the very advanced stage of cirrhosis where his friend who was a doctor drove him from Newport Beach to Glendale to get him into the hospital. Our Dad was a brilliant man, who had made a great success in the 1950’s connected to the early days of the space program but his drinking took a terrible toll.
You could never very often tell that he had much to drink, he held it so well. Mother said for the first five years of their marriage, he had horrible nightmares from the war that would wake him up in a drenching sweat. He gradually learned how to use alcohol to allay that and then he seemed to sleep better and that all seemed to coincide with the advent of success, finally. Eventually he got into the bad habit of drinking but not eating enough, thus we think is how the cirrhosis got a foothold.
Our grandmother – Dad’s mom – got extremely upset with me when I mentioned Dad’s cirrhosis as having been the cause – to her it was always the Hong Kong flu and then pneumonia and I never brought it up again to her in the ensuing years (1969 to 1989); it was so hurtful to her, what was the point. I prayed I would not “forget” though, what it was – and so am grateful that it worked out when I was 30 years old (on August 28, 1982), that I decided to not have any more drinks.
You have all those children: you need to get serious and stop using those weird drugs, whatever they are, so you can be there for those children and THEIR grandchildren and so forth. You need to live long and prosper, not destroy yourself. You need to be a grandfather and a great-grandfather. You need to someday in the way distant future pose for a portrait looking like Walt Whitman. Personally, I don’t think you need to go to any hospital and let them get their mitts on you – just call out to dear God and ask Him to help you. IMHO.

My mother’s cousin died at 43 from liver and organ failure. He used to consume a lot of Tylenol, which for an alcoholic is an absolute NO-NO. That is undoubtedly what precipitated that.
It had a profound influence on me, as I had always looked forward to hunting & fishing with him, since my own father was not much for hunting & fishing.

Forgiveness is truly a miracle for the one who forgives. It’s difficult to live in resentment for long. Elon’s is truly a unique situation.
Elon’s Asperger’s may contribute to his complete (at times) inability to see the other person’s perspective. I know a young married couple, the husband (I believe) has undiagnosed Asperger’s. They lived on the East coast, and he took a job in Denver without consulting his wife, and just expected her (she’s a Pharmacist) to leave all she knows (friends and family) at the drop of his hat. He truly didn’t understand why that was a problem for her. Needless to say, they split up.
If Elon is also taking drugs, that alone can be problematic. Hopefully, for him, his children and those who love and admire him, he will drop the drugs and do what he does best — build, create, and help his country if he’s able.
My original husband was like that, Deborah. A Phi Beta Kappa doctor. I came to realize after supporting him through med school, internship, and residency and getting his practice started that his priorities did not include his wife. I won’t go into detail but suffice it to say there were multiple occasions when I truly needed his presence and support that he was unwilling to provide it…not even recognizing there was anything wrong with that.

It’s still America First and this spat only benefits America’s enemies.

Notice that the Israelites agreed to do something that they did not know the extent of.
In essence, they signed a blank contract and quickly fell woefully short.

I thought about that. It was about my 3rd thought when reading Musks tweet about Trump, the FBI files and Epstein — all of a sudden the whole nation is going to be begging for the files.
Maybe this was a fake spat to get the crazies to stop burning Teslas.I find it hard to accept that two high-functioning men with great accomplishments would act like ghetto blacks having a food fight inside a fast food restaurant.I need proof that they have lost their minds and just acted out a bad divorce. This looks worse than ”Mrs” Macron slapping Mr Macron as the airplane doors opened. That was spontaneous, This Trump/Musk thing looks fake to me.
I’m really not seeing the downsides everyone else is seeing.
1. Libs will be screaming for the Epstein files to be released. Don’t we want that?
2. The greedy Repubs will need to trim back their pork on the BBB, which will pass. It will pass with less pork.
3. Elon is no longer the most hated man by crazy liberals because he supported Trump.

Reading the comments, this could have been a Steve Bannon blog. The hatred intangible. My opinion is I (and many in the international blogosphere) do not think Donald Trump acts in good faith. They trade barbs. Trump wants to cancel all NASA contracts with Space X. There is no back-up source of delivery of people to the ISS. Space X is the lowest cost provider at this time. They are closing in on 500 launches. So, out of spite, Trump wants to cancel Space X contracts. So Musk says: well good luck on finding a back-up to what we provide. How crazy does this go. Internationally, Trump is not held in high regard. But he still has the thirty trillion US market to wave around, and the sanctions “big stick”.
Has it dawned on anyone that Musk might have thought that D.O.G.E. meant something? Did the D.O.G.E. team have unconditional support from Trump? I am not sure they did. So the big beautiful bill with all its pork (to buy votes) and debt ceiling lifting (almost abolishing it). should not bother someone who knows the Government is bloated?
And Musk did it at personal sacrifice. He did not get shot at, but has been constantly receiving death threats. They burned Tesla dealerships. They vandalized Tesla cars. They acted in a way that the value of Tesla plummeted. They promised to go after him legally once the Dems got control of congress again. They stirred up employee issues at his factories. They slow walked approval of Space X Starship test flights.
My daughter switched from a strong liberal to vote for Trump based on Musk’s support only (and a little help from Joe Rogan).
We are approaching 5 months. What has happened that we can attach to?
I was a strong (very strong) supporter of Trump through the campaign. I donated and I worked the 2024 elections.
But unless something changes (and I do not know what that might be) I am lost. Ukraine is Trump’s war. Everyone knows it. He listens to the neocons, it seems, exclusively. He calls international leaders names. Trump’s ego rules every day.
I think your angst is unwarranted for the reasons I mentioned above. That you said it is Trump’s war is the tip off you are trolling.

Yep and most everything he said. The President of India calls DT, my friend. All the world leaders that do not want their nations to be deep state stooges speak well of President Trump.
As to Ukraine, Trump is trying to end that and get Ukraine to accept the defeat they earned by their choice of aligning with the globalists, and still save Europe from destroying themselves as well as the Ukraine.
The one legitimate complaint was, IMV, the Space X comments. The way to ultimately address the budget leaves room for legitimate debate. Trump is considering political realty including restoration of our military, and moving the economy forward to ultimately bring in necessary revenue.
Trumps comments made me think that this all may be a scripted drama to accomplish some purpose. Almost as funny as a King Kong vs Godzilla movie, and about as real.
That’s one perspective my brain sees. There are several as my brain tried to digest it all. The conclusion of all is to pray for wisdom and enlightenment of both of them.

human beings….visible in the global public arena, we see the errors, the crosses, the bad judgement, but as I am reminded….all men and women are giving a plan in their life by God. We might just be witnessing the “bottom” that all men and women MUST experience in the spirit and the flesh to call upon God, to become obedient to fundamental rules.
If I had to measure things in the bigger picture, I would have to agree with the sentiments of ackman: “we are better not fighting, but together in common cause” (to paraphrase). I believe in this, because at the end of the day, we are no better than when we organize and cooperate to a greater union of ideas. I cannot agree with elons’ behavior, but I have some empathy for what he must be feeling. Elon is NOT President Trump. NO ONE IS. It is a great realization that many of US have a tendency to just assume. But it just isn’t that simple. President Trump, the man and OUR champion has visions and plans that bend the paradigm against all conventional so called wisdom. Elon does not understand this and it make him feel vulnerable and threatened. I imagine many of the “fence riding” tech bros feel the same way – “where is he going with this?”
none of this is normal to the technocrats. They are uncomfortable realizing their plans and dreams are not actually suitable in the present form for the good of the country.

While it’s true that President Trump, during his presser with Merz, answered questions on several pertinent topics, it eventually came around to Elon Musks hissy fit.
When asked about it by the press, President Trump mentioned the subsidies for EVs being ripped from the BBB as the main reason for Musk going sideways.
He also mentioned certain Democrat donor who put up a couple of million for PDJT’s Inauguration, but did not elaborate very much except that the person in question is pretty darned slimy. This person, a multi billionaire, with ties to musk wanted to be the head of NASA. This is where it gets interesting. We here all know the wise saying: follow the money.

Aside from being a manic drug user who needs to have his secret clearance revoked, he’s also pretty much a failure as a parent and serial impregnator. Possible goals include PUSHING RINOs to DOGE federal spending + giving Trump haters reasons to support again Musk’s businesses.
