With an appeal to the Supreme Court to stop the unconstitutional Lawfare restraining orders, and with support from growing district appellate court reviews, earlier today federal District Judge Tanya Chutkan surprisingly refused to issue another temporary restraining order.
Hours before, President Trump announced his nomination of Ed Martin to be U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. It appears the Lawfare pushback operation is actively underway.
President Trump – “It is my honor to nominate highly respected Edward R. Martin, Jr., for the full and permanent term of United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.
Ed has led a distinguished career of service, including as Human Rights Office Director for the Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis, where he supervised legal clinics for low-income residents. He later worked as judicial clerk to Judge Pasco M. Bowman, II, of the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals, and launched his own successful Law practice. He has also invested his expertise in other roles, but always with the same goal, of serving his community, and creating a brighter future for all.
Since Inauguration Day, Ed has been doing a great job as Interim U.S. Attorney, fighting tirelessly to restore Law and Order, and make our Nation’s Capital Safe and Beautiful Again. He will get the job done.
Congratulations Ed!” [Truth Social]
WASHINGTON DC – […] Since serving as the interim U.S. attorney, Mr. Martin has worked to dismantle the office’s investigations into those who participated in the attack on the Capitol. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia led the probe, charging more than 1,500 people.
Mr. Martin also fired about two dozen prosecutors who oversaw the Jan. 6 investigations. He launched a review of how the U.S. Attorney’s Office used the charge of obstructing an official proceeding against hundreds of pro-Trump protesters.
The U.S. Supreme Court last year ruled that the obstruction charge only applied in the few Jan. 6 cases when the defendant tampered or destroyed documents. The decision severely limited the use of the charge in the Jan. 6 cases and resulted in some convicts receiving reduced sentences and others getting released from jail. (link)

Facts count
Lies not so much
As Sam Adams told the court during the Boston Massacre trial over 200 years ago…Facts are stubborn things…
John Adams
Yep! Sam Adams was the rabble rouser and trouble maker during the trial!
Thank you!
I like his Oktoberfest.
Samual, The Anti Federalist. I can’t stand the beer. Kinda like anything out of Miller. I guess I am a Nazi because I recommend Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse.
I do like the role he played in the Revolution. He just need a leash.
Belgian dark lager, a step up from anything German.
Sam has also been credited as the Father of the Revolutionary War as his anonymous letters enflamed the general populous against the British.
I thought he made beer.

Norm Eisen deserves a dozen ropes at the gallows pole all to himself. He’s that much a traitor and criminal. He should be exhibit A
I like and find it very beneficial when Sundance gives us his opinion on these choices by Trump, this one is unfortunately missing his opinion on it .
Yes he has; sounds like you did not read all of it:
. It appears the Lawfare pushback operation is actively underway. ( I believe this means this man is part of the push back.)
also this;
Since serving as the interim U.S. attorney, Mr. Martin has worked to dismantle the office’s investigations into those who participated in the attack on the Capitol. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia led the probe, charging more than 1,500 people.

That’s not what I would consider Sundance’s specific opinion on the individual , what you highlighted is just a summary of the Washington Times article NOT from Sundance himself . When Sundance posted an article about Bondie for example, the summary’s told you all about what her past was and Sundance himself made it very clear he thought she was a troublesome pick and why he thought she was a troublesome pick.
And, as Sundances concerns about Bondi, magnified enormously by some commenters, have so far proven unjustified, so perhaps that is why Sundance is being more,…restrained?
Anyway, as much as I love Sundance, if you rely on HIM to tell you what ti think, its really no better than relying on CBS; do your own research.
This guy Ed Martin was fighting the good fight, AGAINST those barstud DC prosecutors that were persecuting J6ers, and then one day he walked in as their BOSS, and fired a bunch of them.
GREAT payback, and now being nominated for a permanent position? This is DEFINETLY “one of the good guys” but again, don’t take my word for it, do your research…
Oh, and while I can’t cite specifics, I am pretty sure like all lawyers who defended any MAGA Defendants, his law career suffered for it, hence the schedenfrude of him being placed over his persecutors, is DELISCIOUS! 🤣🤣🤣
Where do you get the “Relying on Sundance on what to think” nobody said that and it’s not remotely accurate . Saying Sundance’s opinion is really no better than the opinion of CBS is way out of line C’mon .
Be careful when you tell people to do their own research because 97% of people become misguided by doing that . 99% of people find information by using Google , MSN , Yahoo and other mainstream search engines that WILL NEVER EVER link to fact telling sources UNLESS you already know the exact website address you’re seeking . All those mainstream search engines will only link you to sources such as the below :
It’s very very very difficult to find factual information these days since all search engines only link to mainstream media propaganda sources .
Try searching for political info on Google and other main stream search engines for instance , the ONLY links they will show you are from the above sources . Twitter and Facebook will also ONLY link to the above sources .
99.9% of all factcheckers are liberal owned and funded as well and their sole purpose is to confirm the lies that the above sources report . It fools a lot of people because they truly believe factcheckers are legit factcheckers but nothing could be further from the truth .
By far the best way to know with 100% certainty what’s factual info is to seek out what the above listed sources insist is disinformation because what they claim is disinformation and not trustworthy is in the overwhelming majority of cases factual trustworthy information and what mainstream sources claim is trustworthy information is very very rarely factual information but blatant propaganda .

Not for long!
Those search engines used to link to real news sources but when the Kenyan took over everything changed . Obama and Sundar became best buds lol.
I don’t rely on Google or any other search engines most of the time – never Google. I know which sites I want to follow and either type them in or have them as favorites.
It’s not that difficult.
For most people it’s exceedingly difficult and the way you can tell is by what they post . Even people who are 100% pro Trump get fooled by leftist propaganda fairly regularly ESPECIALLY with stuff from Wikipedia and other names that sound legitimate.
To steal a bit from what JD Vance had to say at the EU, if those people can’t help themselves from being lazy, then there is nothing we can do for them.
It actually IS that difficult. And not just political info either. There are other topics I have had to search for online and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find reliable info. I have noticed there is a consolidation of available information across many topics. The internet is NOT what it used to be. I have an extensive library for which I am grateful HOWEVER, it does not supply the most recent available information, nor is it easy to thumb through dozens of books to find what you are looking for. I am finding a great deal of info on some topics that appears cut and pasted across several websites.
try Lux
I have 3 sites …well 4 bookmarked,…CTH, TGP, AmericanThinker, and just to see what the other half is saying, Fox.
And then several substack authors, etc that I keep up with.
I use Google, to shop for DMSO online, NOT to do serious research..nor do I ever visit any of those sites listed,…and why would I? Bloomberg? WSJ, Mother Jones, are you kidding? I’m no masochist!
I feel with those few sites, and the links I follow from their comment sections, I get a pretty good “bead” on things, and long time readers here, can make their own detirmination…
Highly recommend CFP !
Yes, Citizen Free Press is a pretty good aggregator. Just be aware that Kane links to MSM and hard left sites as well as alt-right sites.
I feel his intent is to provide news links, wherever they might come from.
Generally a very good site with really good commentors, much like at the Treehouse.
The Friday and Saturday night Champagne Room links are always fun. Lots of great music videos and comments.
IMO Fox is “controlled opposition.”
I use Yandex to find the more obscure independent and lesser-known sources that Google, DDG, Bing, or Startpage are programmed to NOT “find”, or are listed so far down in the results that only those who are persistent and patient will find, 6 or more pages back in the results …
Yes, it’s now owned by a Russian tech company after its Dutch owners sold it a year ago.
No, I don’t expect its results to be unbiased about Ukraine.. 🤣 🤣 (but it’s fun to see the Russian POV vs. the CIA’s)
Thank you for posting those websites, and while I am aware of all of them and have read all of them at various times, the vast majority of people have no idea about them. I actually learned about CTH several years ago because someone posted the website in a comment section like this. I thank God they did!
The other side is better represented by MSNBC where Trump has already failed miserably and the Dems are totally resurgent as the People rise up in resistance to the kleptocratic, fascistic nightmare of the convicted felon Trump.
I would add Newsmmo to your list of regular reads..it’s an outstanding aggregator site
Why use google at all??? There are so many other choices. Yes many others pull their results from google, but at the very least, why not stop giving them yet another hit, i.e., endorsement for existing, every time your browser shoots out their url?
You funnily enough make the case for me, thank you. Just research what THEY are saying about Ed Martin, his career, his ethics, etc.
And then assume, the more they trash him, the better he is,…yes they actually make it quite simple.
And guaranteed, by his action of taking away their abusive misuse of a statute intended to criminalise destruction of evidence, he earned eternal emninty from the left.
Most people here who are not bots know which websites to avoid and which ones to peruse. If you don’t know that yourself, then you need to get with it.
A good number of people here are good with avoiding propaganda but it’s not nearly as many as you seem to think it might be . The left are true experts at disguising websites as something that’s the complete opposite of what they appear to be . You should go checkout the hundred’s of different websites that Soros controls that you would never ever think are propaganda sites .
No thanks. I’ll just go with you.
Treepers have a far better sense of discernment than you give them credit for.
Frankly, your defamatory assertions smell of Blogfare.
Certainly smells of something, lol.
And, hanging out in the treehouse, invariably sharpens our sense of smell, doesn’t it?
D man shoots and he SCORES!
What I refer to as a troll .
If this were true, Trump would not have been elected. You’re sounding like the European pro-censorship type.
My thought also on looking through this exchange.
Well stated; and accurate. Thank you.
“Where do you get the relying on Sundance on what to think”?
~ cn
“I like and find it very beneficial when Sundance gives us his opinion ….”
~ cn
I like it best when he gives me my opinion. ; >
Thank you Dutchman.
It really rubs me the wrong way when people put SD on a pedestal. He pretty much wrote a positive article about Martin and some how that is not sufficient because he did not come out and give a full throated personal endorsement? I value SD’s opinion, but I am a self-made person, for better or worse, and an independent thinker and I am intelligent and know how to read and comprehend what I read .
cn, you need to develop your own critical thinking brain and read, comprehend and make a decision without relying on one person to form who you are and what you thing. Time to be an adult.
And Bondi, and others, that SD has been critical of, so far have been fine. No one is perfect and who knows what the future holds, but Martin sounds good to me.
I’m really surprised to see how hard little Marco is working for Trump and maga.
I too am pleasantly surprised ; will wait and see .
Dutchman, not just delicious…
Schadenfreudelicious.
It’s as if the two words were meant to be together in the Golden Age.
Dutchman, you never cease to amaze! Thank you!
Really?
I know Ed personally since 2010. When he ran for office during Tea Party days…I worked hard for his campaign. He’s the real deal. Sadly Dem machine politics in typical late night “lost ballots” ….oops where were they… fashion stole it in a hard fought contest.
This is a PERFECT spot for his talents.
Go get’em Ed!
Great to hear such a personal endorsement,…your up close and personal assesment, mirroring my only from a distance assessment the way it does, helps reassure me that my vision is still 20/20, so thank you for that….I am guessing Ed didn’t have the support of his State Republican Party leaders, but the precinct Captains probably loved him,…?
Why do you need Sundance opinion?
What do you think people are here for? Aren’t we taking this to the point of ridiculousness now?
I think you dropped an “N”
Ya know CNN…
IIRC Martin has been featured in a previous article in a favorable light, but don’t rely on my memory; do your own research in the archives.
MAGA needs to educate Sen. Grassley about the new rules. He is 81. He doesn’t need any more graft. He needs an awakening. Stop delaying PDJT ‘s judiciary nominees.
Chuck’s “awakening” is coming. And he knows it…. that’s why he’s resistant.
I remember when Grassley was elected to his first term. He was a PoS then, and nothing’s changed. Iowa deserves better.
Chuck’s always been one of those Senators that sounds all conservative before an election but then the next four years he’s a snake in the grass…
We have nearly an entire R Senate full of those snakes!
Not sure there is ONE Republican Senator, that is worth salvaging….after all, to get IN the club, means they are compromised….
I am feeling optimistic about Tim Sheehy. He has replaced Jon Tester and he is passionate about hiring full time wildfire employees in the forest service. Living in Montana and having to deal with smoke every summer from wildfires is a good motivator for me. Of course, time will tell but so far he’s better than Tester.
I’m hoping that there’s a few that aren’t compromised.
They’re protecting themselves and their families.
There are trillions at stake.
Maybe we get some whistleblowers?
How many of them belong to that Republican NGO that claims Lindsey Graham and Tom Cotton as members? I’d like an update.
91 years old. FIFY
Nine years older than Biden and Keith Richards.
C’mon now, NOBODY is older than Keith Richards.
And he’s still so pickled he’ll keep for awhile!
With all those drugs Richard’s taken, he’s probably better preserved than the Egyptian mummies in museums.
That guy in the picture is drawing social security.
Why is Keith Richards in The Rolling Stones? To make Mick Jagger look healthy!
…and handsome.
Cuz…
🎶He can’t get no love,
Can’t get satisfaction…🎵
He’s probably getting a
kick out of your reaction!
To me, Keith Richards gets a free pass for life, based solely on the opening to Can’t You Hear Me Knockin’.
Start Me Up!
Someday take a listen to the Folksmen version of “Start Me Up” from the film A Mighty Wind.
(Hint: They’re also the guys from Spinal Tap.)
And don’t miss the ending. (naughty/hilarious)
One of the best opening riffs in rock. One of the least known Stones songs also one of the best: Memo From Turner
very cool ride down memory lane.
Ha! I had my comment containing Memo from Turner deleted this week. Strong work. There are other equally insightful songs on the soundtrack, just my humble opinion…certainly not shared by some.
I believe that opening and many other wonderful Stones guitar solos (Time Waits for No One) were courtesy of Mick Taylor. The first one to leave the band alive.
Old joke: There actually two things that would survive a nuclear war – cockroaches and Keith Richards.
Mick and Keith are the same age, 81 . Paul McCartney is older than both at 82.
I couldn’t believe it when I read that! 91 years old! He should be at home, sitting in his recliner and playing with this grandkids.
He is also another example of someone who has been in public service (politician) his whole life (after some common blue collar jobs in his youth) yet he is worth $7.5 million today. How the hell does that happen?
great grandkids….
Great great …
only 7.5 million? He must be one of the more honest ones /s
Hah! I had the same thought!
Only $7.5 million???
He’s broke compare to some much younger ones.
He’s 91. If he’s been investing 3% of his income at a 5% return for the last 70 years, he should be worth twice that!
In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, once Regan’s legacy kicked in, you couldn’t drop $5 on the floor without picking up $20. Imagine buying a thousand dollars of Apple and Microsoft as IPO’s! ( No dang it I didn’t!) My son and I bought our current house in 2011 for $360K it’s worth over a mill now.
Yeah $7.5 mil at 91 isn’t all that impressive. More than I got but I don’t have the insider trading avenues that are available to our elected elite. Doesn’t look like he took advantage much either.
Grassley isn’t perfect and I am sure he has a CYA streak that shows once in awhile but for my money he is one of the better “servants” (cough). I hope Iowa has as a good MAGA replacement for him. I had hopes in Ms. Earnest but it seems Mitch put the Kentucky two step on her early. Not impressed with all the “pork cutting she learned living on a pork farm.”
Hopefully, we will find out the answer to that question, and the many more just like it about everyone in the congress when DOGE completes their work.
Grassley is selling out Iowa, for the Co2 pipeline Tax credit from the Obiden Administration. that piece of “s”
needs to be killed if it hasn’t.
Or, great-great-grand kids.
And he still needs more graft? I’m so sick of these sick bass 💩s
No one is older than KR! 🤣🤣🤣
Grassley is 92 YO.
…soooon 91yrs old his shelf life is looooooooong gone….
Not according to Social Security. Some of those people have lived over 200 years.
I believe Grassley is actually 91, which means he WELL past his sell-by date to continue serving in the US Senate, IMHO….but since he is primarily serving HIMSELF, I’m sure he doesn’t see it that way!!
Shades of Robert KKK Byrd.
He’s actually 91!
He cant hide anymore
That down homey way he has of talking,….is all an ACT! He has an IQ thats up there, and behind closed doors he drops the schtick, and doesn’t stutter, or hem and haw, at all.
Joni Ernst got elected the same way – down home Iowa farm girl act…gotta fool the local yokels into thinking you’re one of them, don’tcha know!
Lizzie Warren still wins the prize though, IMHO, for her “Imma gonna git me a beer” ad…Bahahaha!
“ He launched a review of how the U.S. Attorney’s Office used the charge of obstructing an official proceeding against hundreds of pro-Trump protesters.”
A review? I hope it was a review of color of law violations?
When will the legal class get it? Why did we separate from the crown? How is it that our government has been treating its sovereign citizen’s as subjects and nobody is doing anything about it? It’s as clear as day that the J6er’s rights were violated. Not just them but many many more. Officers of the court is supposed to mean something.
The legal class needs a big kick in the ass.
He wasn’t there long enough to complete the review. That’s for Bondi and crew to do. I hope he’ll be a spanner in the works for the DC district courts.
I got 64 yrs of being screwed by the Government…
Just with what Elon and DOGE have already exposed, my, and everybody else’s SS retirement should at the least be tripled.
I’ll give myself an Amen on that.
In God We Trust

Fear not
Let it be written. So be it.
Senior reparations.
Be wary of free lunches!
Dave, my man! You think they are goin g to give us old farts any of the gravy? Just get rid of the Fed Tax on Social Security, Drop the price of eggs and gas and I’ll smile. Heck I only fill up about once every 2 months any more so the price of gasoline isn’t a biggie to me any more. My gas card keeps begging me to use it more! 🤣
FTR: Color Revolution: Norm Eisen’s Strategy to Oust Trump
https://x.com/amuse/status/1891509490211504199
Wow
His worthy equivalent (or even superior) is Steven Miller, who spearheaded AmericaFirst Legal, with Pam Bondi and others, until the 2024 election…
And theres the FOIA guy, not actually a lawyer, his name escapes me, who has accomplished much by relentlessly pursuing FOIA requests,…and even the project Veritas, now (even after they tried to destroy him!) still expising the commie bastards, with undercover videos..
The thing is, other than losing his security clearance, this barstud has paid no price, for his efforts…and yet so many, from Sidney to Rudy, John Eastman to the J6ers, have paid a horrible price for their various efforts to defend liberty…
Will we see Justice, or have they already insulated themselves, by saying any effort at getting justice is “Political Retribution”?
Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch! He’s a keeper.
But not a lawyer.
Tom Fitton.
Tom Fitton maybe?
Yes, thanks thats him. I was surprised to find iut he is not, himself a lawyer…
I just learned that now! I always thought he was a lawyer but never checked until you posted.
Are you talking about Jason Leopold or Tom Fitton?
Tom Fitton is who I was talking about,…
Mike Davis…
Mike Davis of The ARTICLE 3 Project – Touts HIS TIES to GRASSLEY and WORKING THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE…
i PUT Mike Davis and John Solomon on ” THE CONNECTED ” Listing
The cost is high, the battle sacred. It’s that tree of Liberty thing.
Liberty on earth as in heaven. Worth it.
Several paragraphs there touting Eisen’s tactics and successes.
The Democrats lost.
Must suck to be Norm these days.
SPIT!!! Not in the legal field, but I do recall hearing about the law schools (most of them) were being turned, in the classrooms, away from our Judeo-Christian heritage law! St. Thomas More pray for us!!!
Has no one ever done a background view into Norm Eisen? I would doubt that he has no closet of undesirable events. Perhaps Musk should be sent a question about this?
Anybody paying attention to the Obama riots and the 2020 fentanyl riots realizes they saw this same playbook in places like Ukraine…right down to calling the unwanted but duly elected President a “Putin puppet”.
In the fullness of time we’re going to find that USAID and other federal agencies were financing the 2020 fentanyl riots. We already know they had a money feed to BLM and other color revolution groups.
There’s an old Van Halen song “Right Now” and in the video there’s a brief clip that says “Right now, our government is doing things we think only other countries do”.
1992 was the first year of my adult life when I started to understand how the system is rigged.
A story on TGP says the EU had an equivalent to USAID, also funneling € to leftist groups, undermining alt-right groups, etc.
Seems the EU has its own example of all 7 of the deadly sins. And then some.
You would have enjoyed the 60’s also. Sometimes the truth uplifts, sometimes it hurts.
Like another Rolling Stones song…
You Can’t Always Get What You Want
These days I’m partial to “Time, time, time, is on my side.”
Great summary of Eisen’s insidious efforts.
Tried link and it doesn’t go anywhere.
OK He looks somewhat like William Shatner so I’ll say ya because he was a good captain on Star Trek.
🤣👍
Someone – had a discreet whisper – in Chutkan’s ear.
It sure seems that way, doesn’t it?
Has this been cleared with DOGE yet? “Human Rights Office Director for the Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis” sounds like just the sort of organization DOGE has been enthusiastically investigating at the federal level.
I had a very small interaction with Ed Martin when President Trump was running the first time. Mr. Martin had been associated with Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagle Forum at the time, and I reached out to ask his opinion about President Trump’s potential action to defend pre-born babies. It was after Mrs. Schafly had endorsed President Trump ( which carried great weight with me), but she had by then passed away. Mr. Martin shared my concern about life issues but was cautiously optimistic about President Trump. Turns out Mrs. Schlafly—and Mr. Martin— were correct in their support.
His response sealed the deal for me to be a stalwart Trump supporter early on, when Cruz was all the rage with conservatives. Remember those days? We Trump supporters took alot of abuse, but I was eventually able to tip the scales for more than one nervous voter to President Trump.
And, it all hinged on Mr. Martin taking time to respond to an email from me, someone he didn’t know and was a “nobody.”
I’m thrilled for him
and for the country.
Excellent reply. Thank you.
Thanks, Drewby. I hesitated to speak that personally, but I hoped it might be helpful.
It’s been a while since the great Phyllis Schlafly has been mentioned. She was one of the few to support the Serbian people against the NATO Nazi’s. She was one of the patriots that supported Pat Buchanan’s Make America First Again campaigns in the 90’s. Great story mate.
Read deeper, and remember a good lawyer represents his client, objectively.
And, read about what he did, for the J6 clients, as it cost him dearly.
The prosecutors totally distorted a statute, intended to convict people of destroying evidence, to convict J6ers, and thereby enact far harsher sentences than they could get for mere trespassing.
It was THIS guy, that successfully fought and stopped this miscarriage of Justice…and earned the eternal emnity of the DC commiecrat legal system.
How long will Roberts push this off? He’s in quite a pickle now. Of course, it is of his own making. He’s hoping he doesn’t have to do anything. What a disappointment, but everything Bush did has turned out rotten. He and the rest of the deep state RINOs, have turned out to be even bigger enemies than the left. Trump has to tear it all down. That’s what Obama wanted from the get go. As most deals with the bad man go, it’s going to get torn down, but it is Obama’s America that is getting destroyed.
By taking the issue immediately to the SCOTUS, PTrump has forced Roberts into the game, whether he likes it or not.
Our Chief Justice could have pro-actively put an end to this 2 weeks ago. Instead, he wants to play the “justice system must be reactive” card. Matters little now, because PTrump has put that ball squarely in his court.
The SCOTUS appeal is an emergency appeal, so it should be acted on promptly.
Roberts is the supervising justice for the DC Circuit, but he’s too spineless to take a stand, so he’ll probably refer it to the full Court. Opposing counsel will have a short time to file its brief, and then an opinion will soon follow.
I recall reading that Roberts main motivation is preserving the sanctity (?) and image of the Court, of its,…reputation?
As with many who have a single minded, single issue agenda, his very concern makes him timid, and as a result undermines the reputation of the Institution he wishes to preserve…he’s a p*ssy of the worst order…
Preserving the public image of the “institution” doesn’t work in the long run.
Exactly, especially if such efforts mean covering up and prolonging corruption…
Justice Roberts reminds me very much of Mitt Romney
Roberts’ “image of the Court” is very similar to Fauci’s image of “expert science.”
Both puffed up a fake rosy façade to hide the actual corrupt and inept mess.
All hat, no cattle.
MAYBE ” the POST TURTLE ” from LONG BEACH INDIANA Will Resign

( i Apologize, i WAS FANTASIZING About Having A CONSTITUTIONAL ORIGINALIST as CHIEF JUSTICE – THO His MAJOR COURSE of STUDY was HISTORY )
…”earlier today federal District Judge Tanya Chutkan surprisingly refused to issue another temporary restraining order.”
She refused to tell the state AG’s they have absolutely no standing in telling the President how to run the Executive Branch of the government, so she is already on shaky ground.
It’s not that she refused to issue the TRO – she refused to issue one today. That’s a big difference.
From the Gateway Pundit article: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/02/breaking-judge-chutkan-declines-issue-order-halting-musk/
Money point: “Chutkan asked DOJ lawyers for details on its plans for mass firings and said she would try to rule within 24 hours.”
It appears she is setting herself up to be the self-appointed HR department of the Executive Branch.
That said, I also tend to think she knows any ruling she makes (short of dismissing the claims) is going to get canned very soon.
These activist judges have poked the bear way too much, and appear to be too full of themselves to stop.
For me, the ultimate “cross the line” was when a bunch of them, including Boasberg, went and sat in the gallery, at one of PDJT’S lawfare trials…that was so over the top inappropriate, an unprofessional public display of judicial misconduct, that they should ALL be impeached for.
Once again you hit the nail on the head…🖖🏻
President Trump’s arraignment in the J6 Case!
“Chutkan asked DOJ lawyers for details on its plans for mass firings”
Who is she referring to by “its plans” – certainly the lawyers aren’t firing anybody? And DOGE doesn’t fire anybody. Whatever the Executive branches do with the President’s approval is none of her business and she cannot require any such info from them. She needs to revisit the 159 year old case of Mississippi v. Johnson, 71 U.S. 475 (1866) https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/71/475/
That’s what caught my attention. It’s NONE of her business!
I read the headline too fast. A bit disappointed now. Thought President Trump perfected time travel and was bringing back…
Oh how I miss those two! The best late night show ever!
When Comedy 😃 was funny..and clean..
Just finished reading the long-delayed biography, “Carson.”
It was delayed for years before no one was ever able to get to know the man inside. The whole book is written from the outside, and the man is described only in his absence.
His life’s goal was to be a magician, and he carried a deck of cards with him everywhere he went.
Ended up performing card tricks for admirals, by accident, when he was a Navy scrub.
Johnny Carson’s introduction to Navy life was to be stationed to the battleship USS Pennsylvania, a few days after a bomb/torpedo blew off most of the stern in ’44/’45. As he was the newbie, they put him in command of retrieving the bodies and personal effects of 18 sailors who had died, and had been down there for 3 weeks.
A mysterious, private, tortured man, who put us to bed every night for 30 years.
Don’t know if he was ever given a medal by the president, but he should’ve been….
he was never the same.
Aye
How in heck did PDJT find an Ed Martin in DC? Miracles apparently do still happen.
He’s from Missouri. When I first heard of him he was involved with Phyllis Schlafly’s group, the Eagle Forum (https://www.phyllisschlafly.com/phyllis/). As far as I know he is good.
Well said. Plain speaking.
Corn, cotton, cattle and cockleburrs.

I guess this is another nominee that requires senate confirmation. The senate has much too much to say in these nominations. The senate may reject him because of his defense of the Jan. 6ers.
Grassley, et. al., may think that because they gave PTrump his first bench of nominations, they can knife him in the back on this second tier. I will go out on a limb here to say they are going to be in for a big surprise.
Meanwhile DOGE is looking at how DC swamp critters who make 200-300K/year have miraculously accrued a 20-30+ million dollar net worth. The nail head that sticks up is the one that gets hammered.
Exactly, Ogre and Scrapiron!
The SCOTUS appeal is of just one TRO, but it gives SCOTUS the opportunity to address the other TROs (which it has the power to do sua sponte.
Or it can just decide the one TRO with very broad language with the message to the lower courts, “We don’t want to hear any more of these. Get rid of them.”
If the language is broad on the one TRO, you can bet the DOJ would have motions to dissolve TROs filed in every pending case by midnight. The federal courts’ electronic filing system is open 24 hours a day.
Kinzinger’s crybaby face always cracks me up
And they know that We the People know it….
Got pardons, cause they NEEDED pardons.
I didn’t think you could get a pardon for TREASON………….
I like it,,,keep it going
Looks like President Trump and his team were busy pre-screening a legal team before inauguration. He had acting hatchet men in every cabinet spot and deputy/assistant position from day one. The DC court has become a travesty among the other federal courts and needs to be abolished.
Why did the dim states AG(s) file with the activist DC court judges and not other districts?
The battle here is fight being delayed. The dims hope to delay and blunt the attack miring up all positive administration change in the bureaucracy and judicial swamp. Play out the clock long enough and they limit President Trump’s effectiveness just like his first term.
More importantly, they knew that as a start, they should “follow the money” to find out how the Deep State operated, instead of rescinding a bunch of regulations or rearranging personnel.
And some bright spark on his team thought to start with USAID as the money spigot that had to be turned off first.
This set the narrative to tell the American taxpayers about that instead of food and medicine, USAID was going to all sorts of lefty projects, as well as money being channeled back to the US to non-profit advocacy groups.
USAID graft was then hard to defend (although CBS tried it this weekend with Samantha Powers’ speechwriter moaning about how she’d pay her bills after being laid off).
DOGE has now established credibility, so as it goes through the government exposing waste and fraud, the public support should be sustained.
From what I heard, USAID was the first out of the gate to try defying DOGE access.
PDJT and Elon were always planning to go to work first on whichever org made that mistake.
Excellent choice!
To “play out the clock” is certainly the strategy they are pursueing, but it will not work, …actually it didn’t even work that well, his first term and 47 is no 45.
A team “runs out the clock” when they have nothing else…they are being RE active, not proactive.
There attempts to manipulate public opinion are falling on deaf ears.
NO ONE seriously is worried that the richest man in the World, is stealing our identities 🤣.
Their desperate, rediculous false narratives are NOT “running around the world”, instead they are stumbling an falling over at the starting blocks, cause their shoe laces were tied together.🤣🤣🤣.
Yes the attempts to demonize the DOGE team is failing. They don’t say a word about the billions in corruption uncovered or offer any solutions of their own to cut waste. It’s as if they don’t listen to what they are actually saying and defend continued corruption because of “muh democracy”.
Hey Elon,
How is the paper trail coming?
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/02/gop-rep-tim-burchett-says-democrats-are-terrified/
Oh, man! Burchett says the quiet part, THAT WE ALL KNOW, out loud.
That the $ sentvto Ukraine, came back to Congress which of COARSE it did,…that Elon is uncovering the paper trail, and there are “going to be a lot of retirements” from Congress.
This is such a simple, powerful way to primary Incumbents, that not even the State Party can protect them,…just ask over and over, HOW did you become a millionaire, on $170,000/ year salary?

Mad Maxine Waters Sounds Alarm After Musk Announces DOGE Will Investigate Multimillionaire Government Workers: “We Don’t Know What They Have on Us” (VIDEO) – 2/13/25
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/02/mad-maxine-waters-sounds-alarm-after-musk-announces/
When she led the Congressional Whorde to storm USAID she asked if the guards inside had guns then asked the crowd if that meant they intended to gun them all down, all in a voice that implied they were on the precipice of a low tech mass lynching.
She only needed a soundtrack to complete her farce.
Dum DUM DUMB!!!
I believe that was the DOE.
Normally I could never watch a clip of Maxine for very long, but the front door guard’s expressions and responses were so professional… and entertaining.
He LOOKED TO HEAVEN a Couple of Times to RE – COMPOSE Himself and Stretch His Neck Muscles
I read that Trump’s appointees were going through the approval process faster after President Trump and Elon’s presser where they were wondering how members of congress became so rich on a $200k salary.
That got me thinking that maybe, eventually, there could be a situation where enough corruption is forced into the sunlight leading to a culmination of events creating a situation where congress will feel pressured enough to repeal the 17th amendment, whether they want to or not. Then state’s legislatures would once again appoint senators for congress.
Wishful thinking perhaps…
Getting 38 states to ratify an amendment would be very tough unless the revealed corruption is so obvious and so bad that even the main stream press and most dims would come on board.
IMHO the corruption is actually that bad stillwater.
Prehaps a series of cascading events ? Right now the potential avalanche required is a small snowball at USAID insofar as the general public perception.
Agreed. I guess we have a long way to go before this level of change could be undertaken.
We’ll see what happens!
I think we have only just begun to plumb the depths of DC depravity.
All will be revealed; in this life and this Administration I pray!
I dropped you a reply on your excellent Janissary post. Note my observation on someone dropping a negative on a poster who was bringing up some of the things I have brought up about NDE’s, OBE’s, and Folklore. Remember Betty? I was kinda shocked someone else is on the same trail my friend. I guess ultimately all roads lead Home. Slainte my brother
We’ll see what happens.
Pray, hope, and work…
President Trump and our country have overcome some big obstacles already, with God’s help. I’m looking forward to seeing what God is going to do with our country, though the process will involve some pain and shocking revelations.
I think the avalanch hasn’t even started, yet. Elons comment, in the Oval presser, was the small tree branch cracking….the eventual avalanche could well sweep out ALL of Congress and the Senate, as very few of them were millionaires BEFORE they ran for office, and have no answer to “where did you get the $?”
It happened to Richard Nixon.
You see, thats the beauty of what Elon and PDJT did, with there little two man one boy show.
ELON and PDJT NEVER said, or even directly implied anything about Congress being millionaires, on Govt. salaries; go back and watch the video.
Elon said he thought it was curious, that they were finding millionaire BEAUROCRATS, and speculated maybe they were super good at investing, etc.
BUT, when he said that, a great many, including every member of Congress, both Houses, HEARD the same “argument” regarding Senators and Congressman, and it scared the crap out of them.
WE have long discussed it, but with their control of legacy media, they have somehow been able to keep it suppressed, even tho we all know Pelosi and McConnell, Schumer, Obammy, Biden and the Clantons all became millionaires and none earned it.
Now, that its out there, it can not be unsaid, and now members of the club are even starting to speak up…you just KNOW that Ukraine$ traces right back to the Congress that kept approving it.
My mistake. thanks for the correction Dutchman. Trump never said Congress. He’s triggering Congress & bureaucrats to out themselves.
What a GREAT appointment. Was really pleased with his actions while interim AG. Like him better than Bondi.
Interim, or “acting” actually can fire people from day one, whereas a newly confirmed Cabinet secretary, can not fire anyone, for their first 180 days…hence PDJT wisely put in “actings” who cleaned house, while the Senate played confirmation games…
Well I be jiggered! I never knew that!
Counselor Martin looks like “he’s got some hard bark on ‘eem”.. Suck it Lawfare..
Also, where is “Mask” McCord these days?
Here is background on Ed Martin. Seems like an excellent pick!
https://www.forbes.com/sites/alisondurkee/2025/02/17/who-is-ed-martin-trump-nominates-jan-6-defense-attorney-as-top-dc-prosecutor/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=forbes&utm_term=se-staff
Lawfare is not a valid legal policy!
Here is some additional information on US Attorney Ed Martin:
https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/dc-attorney-vows-to-investigate-doge-threateners-5806181
“Ed Martin, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, has written to Elon Musk that those “who appear to be stealing government property and/or threatening government employees” may face consequences as he begins an inquiry.
“If people are discovered to have broken the law or even acted simply unethically, we will investigate them and we will chase them to the end of the Earth to hold them accountable,” Martin wrote in an open letter to Musk and Steve Davis, a recruiter for Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), on social media platform X.
President Donald Trump named Martin the district’s new U.S. attorney, replacing Matthew M. Graves, an appointee of President Joe Biden who prosecuted individuals involved in the U.S. Capitol breach on Jan. 6, 2021. Twenty-six FBI confidential human sources were present in Washington in connection with those events, according to a 2024 report from the Justice Department’s inspector general.”
——
Hopefully Martin will prosecute former AG Merrick Garland and former FBI Director Chris Wray and their henchmen for violating their oaths of office and violating other federal laws, plus the 5,000 FBI agents who persecuted the J6ers.
The Dellinger case has now been presented to the Supreme Court. If they accept to hear it, their ruling should put all of these Lawfare cases out of business.
Ed is a bulldog, by all appearances. Should keep the country sane in the DC courts for the next 4 years
The hatchet man of lawfare, Norm Eisen, has been well grilled by datarepublican with all the familiar sides. I want to see them all unemployed, without prospects and indicted.

‘Mr. Martin also fired about two dozen prosecutors who oversaw the Jan. 6 investigations. He launched a review of how the U.S. Attorney’s Office used the charge of obstructing an official proceeding against hundreds of pro-Trump protesters.’ – Sundance
Let us recall this shameful moment in the final weeks of the Democrat-majority House in December 2022:
‘ The $1.7 trillion government funding bill released Tuesday [Dec 20, 2022] includes extra money for the Justice Department to prosecute Jan. 6 cases. Congress hopes to pass it this week.
‘The Justice Department had requested $34 million from Congress specifically to carry on the [J6] investigation.
‘The House Appropriations Committee, which is led by Democrats for two more weeks, justified the boost in funding for U.S. attorneys in a separate statement by citing “heightened prosecution workload arising from the U.S. Capitol attack and domestic terrorism cases.”
The funding legislation, negotiated by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y, has the backing of key Senate Republicans, like Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Appropriations Committee Vice Chair Richard Shelby of Alabama, putting it in a strong position to get the 60 votes needed to break a filibuster and pass the Senate.
“I’ve always been for prosecuting anybody who violated the law on January the 6th,” said Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., a senior appropriator and member of Republican leadership. “And there are, like, 800 cases already. So I can’t imagine that they don’t need some extra money.”

Stinking RINOs did this to us. Every one of them needs to be rooted out and rusticated. Mitt Romney self-deported, but too many foot-dragging, anti-MAGA RINOs remain. No more R-party traitors in our midst.
Roy Blunt was horrible during his last term and a half, and we got rid of him. Well, we would have but he saw the writing on the wall and retired. He was very much a RINO and we replaced him with a couple decent senators. Sorry that happened.
Srong work. Here’s an old wrinkle of a story.
My father was a small town lawyer, walked from Normany to Berlin, GI bill law school, back to hometown. He was political, ended up as a congressional district democrat party chairman in early 60s. Senate candidate Tom Eagleton came to the office when my dad was talking to a client. He was asked to wait, but didn’t, barged in to the office. My dad was 5’7, a boxer also. He forced Eagleton out into the street from the office, chased him out. Eagleton did not carry that congressional district.
Republicans in Crapweasel Congress are the more treacherous wing on the Uniparty Vulture.
The Dems are are least honest about their evil intents and desire for totalitarianism.
True. But they’re not honest for honesty’s sake.
They’re just frequently honest because of the bubble of untouchability they all believe they live in.
Let’s disabuse them of that insanely mistaken idea…
“There’s Trillions at stake “.
After today’s revelation that 4.7 trillion went into a black hole at the US Treasury it’s not what’s at stake, but who got it all.
Let’s Go!!!
MAGA 👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
“In 1958 the Court ruled that prayer, commonplace in American public schools, was now unconstitutional. All prayer, Bible instruction, and even the posting of the Ten Commandments, was henceforth forbidden.
In 1973 the Supreme Court declared that women had a constitutional right to an abortion, a right undiscovered by the men who had written the Constitution, or any of the greatest of the jurists who interpreted it over two centuries.
In 1974 Judge Arthur Garrity ordered the integration of Boston’s public schools through court-ordered busing. Result: Violence, boycotts, racial animosity. Instead of integration, Judge Garrity produced a school system where 80% of the students are minority Americans.
In 1987 a Kansas City federal judge ordered a doubling of property taxes and a 25% increase in income taxes to pay for improvements in the public schools.
In 1988 in Yonkers Judge Leonard Sand imposed stiff and escalating fines, near bankrupting the city, because its elected officials refused to vote as the judge had demanded on a plan to put low-cost housing in white neighborhoods.
1995 the Supreme Court threw out term limits on Congressional delegations in 23 states.
What we have here is gross usurpation of power by federal courts, which are using that power to rewrite laws to conform with the Court’s idea of what is just, fair and right.”

President Trump is doing such a magnificent job.
its like he’s choreographed this marvelous puzzle where he keeps putting people he knows will do will in particular places.
The man is simply brilliant.
You know he worked on his plan non stop from the time he left the White House until he got back in.
With everything he had to deal with during his first term, his mind is so good that he was meeting and evaluating thousands of people.
Its evolutionary how he can think out of the box, come up with solutions; implement them, plus the grasp he has on world wide politics.
To think that he was never in politics before and yet he knows more than the grifters ever will.
Our country; and perhaps the world, may never see another leader of this caliber
Chutkin might be backing off now that congress is beginning to finally get their act together to impeach the Judges.
It would be a good show in the House. But it takes a 2/3rds vote in the Senate to impeach, and no Democrat senator is going to vote to impeach a crooked Democrat judge that is trying to railroad President Trump.
I have previously opined that President Trump has spent four years thinking about how this current Presidency will play out. I was confident he had detailed most things out, even anticipating the resistance lawfare. The appointment of Ed Martin bears out that hope.
DOGE is on to that crook, Norm Eisen.
We came so very close to losing our country! Biden was the perfect puppet the globalists needed to lead America to ruin…amoral enough to lie about whatever popped into his head, amnesia-ridden enough to forget what he lied about a few minutes later, senile enough to ask dead politicians to stand up and take a bow, callous enough to take a nap in Air Force One while the grieving families of fallen soldiers wait outside in the cold, perverted enough to grope grown women and little girls alike, greedy enough to sell his office to the highest bidder and to dole out Presidential Medal of Freedom awards to America’s worst enemies and ruthless enough to use the DOJ and FBI persecute, prosecute and imprison his political opponents.
Let him loose.
That Washington Times link: “Often echoing Mr. Trump’s unproven claims that the 2020 election was rigged”…
Same-old same-old from TWT’s own echo chamber. Some good writers there, but way too many botbrains in that mix. Almost as bad as Politico.
Every lawyer, bureaucrat, every congressman, senator who literally made a vote for using rule of law as an illegal weapon upon Americans should be treated the same except the rule of law will work correctly upon them and put them behind bars. Also, same thing concerning every leader who voted for and directed American funds for wasteful issues to have their personal wealth taken and placed back into American taxpayer accounts. Biden, clintons, warren, etc. All of them, personal wealth taken.
