White House deputy chief of policy Stephen Miller is furious that House Republicans would agree to a massive spending and regulatory package that puts President Trump in a position to raise the debt ceiling during his first year in office.
The administrative construct of the continuing resolution is approximately 1,000 pages. The $100 billion in FEMA funding for disaster relief is approximately 500 pages. The actual CR aspect of the bill is only about 15 pages.

“Set President Trump up for success”
This is exactly what the uniparty is trying to avoid. President Trump has said, “My retribution will be success”.
This uniparty party bird of prey needs a dose of A(H5N1).
I like Steve a lot! I’m glad he is on the Trump team and he absolutely speaks the truth here. As for these rats trying to push this ugliness down our throats………I have a feeling their good days are about to come to an end. And of course….thats in their minds… not ours. In fact….our good…or better yet….great days…..or as President Trump has said before…..the Best Is Yet to Come!
Sorry… i accidently hit the flag
We all love us some SM.
We are no longer “doing business as usual”, and from what was put in the outrageous “CR”, it is now clear that Democrats and a lot of Republicans are still unclear about that fact.
Thank God Elon Musk bought Twitter/X. I know some people see things murky around Musk, but if Twitter was still operating as it was before he purchased it, none of this (stopping the CR) would have happened imho
Nobody is above the law. Unless they are a relative of Joe Biden, on the J6 committee, etc,…..
ANY elected Republican that does NOT support what Smith is talking about here MUST be voted out of office in their next election. This ploy is the most absurd attempt I have ever heard of in American Politics, of hamstringing an incoming Administration. And again, I cannot say it enough, IF we had a strong Speaker Of The House, we would most likely not even be having this discussion. Johnson is absolutely too big of a COWARD to even stand up for his own party’s landslide elected President’s agenda in his ascension to the office. Johnson must go NOW. He cannot be trusted after this limp wristed attempt.
Another voice of reason…! You go Stephen!
When I first read about this disastrous bill, I felt so defeated thinking that, as usual, what could possibly be done to stop it, totally forgetting that we are battered Conservatives no more!
I thank God for Sundance, sunlight, and voices of reason and integrity like PE Trump and Stephen Miller…and I will also mention Tom Homan here, as I just watched his interview with Tucker. Howdy!!!
Congress continues to out themselves producing toxic garbage like this. They obviously have forgotten who they are dealing with now.
God continues to protect us. We must continue to pray.
Yes, THE PEOPLE NEED TO SEE IT!
America could get by just fine without FEMA. Just a fraction of that $100,000,000,000 in the hands of the Cajun Navy would go a lot farther, and no disaster victims passed by because of their political preference.
We need to start putting these criminals in prison for the financial rape of Americans.
YES, YES, YES!
The Democrats are on their back, knocked out by the election.
So, here come the RINOs to the rescue.
President Trump needs a better Speaker to work with. One not compromised by their shady personal life.
How is it we the people get stuck with these morons. It boggles the mind.
The moron voters put them in office every primary by voting Incumbent regardless
The future of MAGA will be sealed in the primaries. I’m in a ruby red state and I’m so frustrated that incumbents just rolled back to DC.
My neighbors haven’t gotten it yet. I’m so grateful I found the treehouse and can come here to find other conservative misfits.
See if the there is a Syate Republican Assembly in your state. It will be up to US to find, vet, recruit, train, and FINANCE good candidates. The RNC will always try to screw us.
The Vice-President is the Presiding officer of the Senate. I bet JD could make some great things happen.
Miller and other Trump advisors are not keep up with events. Why is he–and now the president–talking about getting rid of the debt ceiling???? The debt ceiling is a great tool for negotiating spending cuts. And guess what? The people are rejecting congress in favor of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.
What we have learned in the last 24 hours is that if Elon and Vivek say “no,” what the horribly corrupt Republican congress-critters want craters. It just does not matter. The porkulus cramnibus that Johnson’s staff spent over two months negotiating just went “poof” because Elon Musk doesn’t want it!!!! The game has fundamentally changed!! Congress does not matter; Trump and Elon and Vivek matter.
So now is not the time to jettison the debt ceiling; now is the time to jettison 50% of the federal government!!!!! There will never be another opportunity like this to actually balance the federal budget, something that has not been done since Nixon (except very briefly in the mid-1990s). We can do everything now, in the first year, including ending the Department of Education and 200 other federal agencies. For God’s sake, do NOT snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by whining about the debt ceiling!!! We can do regular order for the first time since 2008, and pass 8 separate spending bills that add up to a balanced budget!!
Yes, I don’t really understand what that’s a “plus”!
I swear real inflation has increased 20% in the last two weeks. Shut it all down ’til inauguration day. FJB’s petulant frenzy.
Ask rinoRat Speaker “Hakeem” Johnson the questions !!!
Sheesh, he’s the one who set it all up.
We are broke. Shut DC down until January 20. Anything that we don’t sorely miss during the next month should be slashed and burned by the DODE.
