Just up the beach a quarter mile, we had 2 tourists knocked off their feet wading in the swash line on a steep sand beach last month. The man was able to make it back to dry beach, but the woman drowned. Husband and wife, I think.
We lose 2 to 4 or so people every year to such mishaps / misjudgment

Won’t be staying on… we are setting our sewing skills to good use and making homemade cat toys to give to the fur children for Christmas.
A little tradition we have adopted using scrap fabrics on the clearance rack at Hobby Lobby. We found a particular coarse fabric that the cats LOVE to scratch at… so one will be a pillow and the other a gingerbread style man figure to play with… stuffed with cat nip and crinkly paper. We do “simple”… we are not terrific seamstresss, but the kittoes don’t seem to mind the crooked seams and they’re really into it watching us construct them. They have a big stocking we fill and they unwrap! Our littlest girls’ first Christmas, so the big boys will show how it’s done.
Kiddo has a boatload of homework to do, which is sad for the holiday… but she loves the Potters School and it’s solid curriculum. It’s based out of Pennsylvania, but has foreign students all over the world which adds to its richness.
Life is good my friend and I pray you and Tinks are healthy and right as rain! Wish you were close… we found an awesome little taqueria in the middle of Indiana. Awesome burria tacos.

Re: Potter’s School. This was a great choice for your daughter. That dysfunctional high school was a deadly place for her. So glad you made the decision to move. The HS was actually impeding her ability to make the kinds of “adaptive strategies” she needed at this point in her life. . .
Re: fabric. Check out an automobile upholstery shop. Look for “body cloth”. This is standard, very inexpensive, material for upholstering car seats. The body cloth is the cheapest material they sell.
I used some of my little Alfa and thought it would make a good material for clothing. Just sayin’ . . .
Re: coffee. I’m such a creature of habit when it comes to things like coffee . . . or tacos . . . 🙂 I’ve tried different brands (most recently “Black Rifle” coffee–despite the name only so-so as coffee goes) but nothing quite pleases as much as Bustelo. Community Coffie, however, comes in a close second. I’ll have to try that Highlander brand . . .
re: tea. Celtic Clothing . com is an American based shop that sells exclusive Irish made clothing . . . and Irish tea. It’s not expensive but, wow, is it good. This is where I buy my Irish made flat caps. Their wool sweaters and scarves are pretty cool, too.
Re: Little Tink. I felt a familiar “thump” on the bed about3am this morning. It had finally gotten cold (er) so
she decided to cuddle. First she climbed onto my shoulder, but then burrowed under the covers and promptly went to sleep. She stayed curled up, sleeping, until I got up for morning coffee. Of course then she joined me in the kitchen. Good kitty. 🙂

I’m sad and angry about the school. They issued public scare tactics last election shaking the public down for MILLIONS of dollars for “student safety”.. and have been everything BUT safe!!! They’ve ripped the public off for a very long time and I want serious change!
I don’t want more SCHOOL CHOICE… just as I don’t want more security to walk me to my car. I don’t want to accept this as the “new normal”.
We must RECLAIM our public education and our public places and make them safe and trustworthy again.
I’ve written to people internally I know in the incoming administration, however I have severe issues and anmity with the #2 in charge… he’s a crooked jerk… so not sure how far I’ll get. I have to leave it to The Lord, but I’m believing He put me in the orbit of these people for a reason… so I’ll continue to pray fervently about it.
The Highlander Grogg is a flavor of coffee… the brand here is from Sundae’s which is a local homemade ice cream shop owned by two brothers; one is a chemist. He is the one who purchases the coffee beans and roasts them and flavors them in shop. Has a butterscotch whiskey effect to it … is yummy… but at $15/lb is purely a luxurious treat! Bustelo, by far, is excellent for the buck.

Not sure I’ll delve further into auto upholstery. My sewing skills are rudimentary and I think I’m all “Proverbs 31” woman’d out. I’m the Joan of all trades and master of none, but I do a darn good job with most endeavors. I’m okay if my cat toys look like a five year old put them together. The cats don’t care, but it is cute to watch them inspect my craftsmanship.. they know it’s for them.
I baked about 300 to 400 cookies today and made Peppermint Bark. I think my hands are going to fall off. Still have two more large batches to go and then I can plate up the gift boxes. Will go to three families, Savannah’s business, my employer, and my office building.

That happens in the dry washes here during monsoon season. Strangers to the area camp in the wash. Unbeknownst to them, it is raining in the mountains many miles away – and a wall of water appears even on a sunny cloudless day. Every year this tragedy happens. We sometimes target shoot in washes – the backstop is perfect. But all our guns, equipment, ammo, etc stays up away from the bank and I check radar on my phone regularly. 😔

Prayer For Grace At The End Of The Day
Heavenly Father, as the day is drawing to its close I ask that Your continued love and presence be with me and with all that are Your children in Christ. Guard us through the long hours of darkness this night I pray, and keep us safe from all harm and dangers that may try to cross our threshold.
Give us, I pray, an untroubled night of rest and quietness of heart. May we be refreshed and renewed in body, soul and spirit as we rest our weary hearts in You through the hours of the night.
Lord, I pray that by Your great grace and mercy, You would grant us untroubled sleep so that we may rise up in the morning strong to do Your bidding. May we all rejoice for the dawn of a new day, knowing that Your mercies are new every morning. In Jesus’ name,

Prayer Of Reflection On The Past Day
Loving Lord, as the day is coming to an end, I want to thank You for being with me in all that has taken place today. I also want to lay the whole day before You, asking that you would show me if there is anything that I have done to hurt or harm another person unknowingly, or if I have done anything that is displeasing in Your sight, or quenched the work of the Spirit in me, so that I may turn away from such things in the days that lie ahead.
Lord, I desire to do Your will in all things. I pray that You would cleanse me of any wrong thoughts or attitudes that may have surfaced in my heart today. Wash me in Your cleansing flood, I pray.
Thank You, that You are a God who forgives our transgressions when we are willing to confess them to You, knowing that such cleansing before You immediately draws us back into sweet fellowship with Yourself.
Give me a good night’s rest I pray, and may I rest quietly in Your loving arms in the knowledge that in Christ, I am eternally secure, due to Your amazing grace, for which I praise You. In Jesus’ name,

Prayer Of Thanksgiving In The Evening
Praise Your holy name Heavenly Father, for granting yet another day in my life and for being with me every step of the way. Thank You for the many blessings that You have provided and the love and fellowship that I have with the friends and family that in Your grace You have placed in my life.
My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.
Thank You, that I have been brought into Your family and have been made a child of God and a citizen of heaven. Words cannot express my love and devotion to You Lord
I pray that You would watch over me as I rest tonight, and that You would give me a restful night’s sleep so that I may wake up in the morning refreshed in body and spirit and ready to do Your will. Guard all those that I love and may we all grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ in the days that lie ahead. This I ask in His precious name,

The Big Broadcast
On Sundays at 6:00 P.M. CST the Big Broadcast is hosted live with classic, old time radio shows.
The host selects shows with some input from listeners during the Summer. He shares the episodes with information such as the original broadcast date, sponsors, and so forth.

Fired up the Fireplace insert. Perfect afternoon decorating the tree with a fire building. Now at full blaze and warmth. Time to set the gas furnace thermostat down to 60 and run the fan full time to see what the insert can do for keeping it tolerable in the whole house.
I am posting this not to upset anyone. By now everyone knows the so-called Covid ‘vaccine’ was nothing of the kind. It was a killer shot. Its aim was genocide.
I am angry that children were injected with this experimental poison. I am angry that so many people trusted the medical profession, and the pharmaceutical industry, and ‘experts’ , and they were betrayed.
We need to know exactly what this so-called ‘vaccine’ has done to the world’s population. Vested common interests
worked together, in concert, to ensure as many people were injected as possible, themselves excluded of course, and the intention was not to vaccinate the populations of the world in a safe and effective manner.
The true intention was sinister and evil. It was intended to reduce what some elites consider ‘the surplus population’ The following information is not only very enlightening, but also frightening. This betrayal must never happen again. There should be justice for the perpetrators of this horrific event as there was at Nuremburg.
