I just love the control Laura has with the right hand. It is really difficult to hit the string with the flesh of the finger tip and the nail simultaneously and make every note seem as if it is struck individually exactly parallel with the guitar top and the finger tip either then resting on the next string or just clearing it.
This playing reminds me of Segovia , Pujol, Ida Presti or Charles Trepat to name a few.

One of my mentors in the online world was “Do While Jones”, a wonderful scientist who ran the “science against evolution” website which put out a monthly newsletter. He completely owned biological evolutionists and eventually ran out of new material in magazines such as Nature, Science, and the like. He died recently.
Do-While is a logic construct for all programming languages just like If Then Else.
I searched for an online name for myself and came up with a similar name since I, like Do-While was a career programmer. Its a little esoteric but that’s that!

-Nassralla the leader of Hezbollah gave a speech. He said that “the delay in the attack on Israel is a part of the punishment”.
Israeli jets went low altitude and broke the speed of sound interrupting him.
-I see an image at one of my social media groups of US and UK attacking a target in Yemen.
-Today Israel was attacked with over 30 rockets and drones from Lebanon. . We had an incident of two badly injured and other 12 mildly and moderately injured from a drone.
Israel attacked back. About 10 Hezbollah munition storages and buildings. Also a targeted assasination of a commander. I don’t have his identity yet.
They now had their 400th dead terrorist since 10/7. As a note Israel lost about 350 IDF soldiers since they started the maneuver in Gaza. Over 600 if you include 10/7.
-A major news outlet in the UK, “The Jewish Chronicle”, published that the assasination of the Hamas leader in Teheran was done by two Iran’s Revolutionary Gourd people who were flipped by Mossad. They planted bombs under the bed of the Hamas leader and it was operated remotely while they fled the country. Humiliation to Iran.
-The US exposed that a Pakistani citizen who worked for Iran was arrested in NYC. He met two hit men and paid them $5000 to assassinate US figures and Trump. The “hit men” were working with the FBI and led to his arrest.
-The choice of the VP for Kamala Harris who is a Progressive is likely to be pro Hamas.
Apparently it’s very important for the DNC to get the “Death to America” voters.
The Jewish candidate from PA was rejected because decades ago he said something pro Israel and anti Palestinian, something that was true about the unwillingness of Palestinians to seek a peaceful resolution to the conflict . Yes, I was sarcastic. I really dislike Kamala.
-In the past week the IDF killed about 20 terrorists in the West Bank. 14 of them in the past 24 hours. The IDF started to use drones in the West Bank which reduces the risk to the soldiers and gets better results.
-The US is reporting that it intercepted today two ballistic missiles and two drones from Yemen.
-Another woman from the hostages/missing was announced dead by the IDF. This is based on intelligence and her body is in captivity. She was a Senior citizen. RIP.
-Just watched a video of Gamazs cheering when rockets are fired to Israel. A child wishes it to go to Tel Aviv too. The “uninvolved”. Yesterday a family of a victim released a video of Gazans viciously abuse the body of their son in the streets of Gaza. Many people.
I saved you from the experience of watching it. It can scar a soul to watch it.
We are dealing with something that is not conceived in the West.

Did a one day excursion yesterday with my 7 YO grandson and my daughter to Jefferson’s Poplar Forest, also took in Appomattox Court House and battlefield park along with the Civil War museum (which has been relocated from Richmond).
Daughter, (shes a teacher) wanted grandson to do educational trips this summer.
On another trip this summer daughter, Grandson and I did Natural Bridge, the DDay memorial and a bit of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
They recently returned from a vacay to the Outer Banks of Nc (OBX) and to Kitty Hawk, the Nc Aquarium, Roanoke colony and Hatteras Island.
Grandson has had quite a summer and Granddad was awful happy to oblige in part of it!

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
