She’s got so many that I don’t know what her actual favorite would be.
I mean, she frequently spends fifty hours a week or more when she’s planting and mulching them. I think she’s up to a dozen truckloads of mulch at this point.
People stop in the middle of the road (she’s out in the country) and stare at the flowers. Sometimes people come to the house and ask if they can just walk around looking.
People have tried for years to get her to send pics to magazines.
She keeps running into people who know about the flowers but don’t know her. When they ask where she lives and she tells them it’s inevitably a “YOU LIVE IN THE HOUSE WITH ALL THE FLOWERS!” type of response.
She loves God, and she loves nature, and she views the flowers as God’s way of showing beauty in the form of flowers.
She plans out what flowers she’s gonna do in each garden and sets them out to have layers and coordinated colors and contrasts.
Mom is amazing, in soooooo many ways.

Yes, they’re right. It’s more clear cut, this person is male. XY == male, don’t care about the window-dressing. They’ve not even taken the steps a transgender takes to limit testosterone levels. Full-strength male here.
Taking their logic to an extreme… if this person had been born with two additional, fully-functional, full-strength arms such that they could wield all of them simultaneously in competition… would it be a fair fight against a normal two-armed opponent?
No, it would not. ‘Genetic anomaly’ or not… most people would plainly see the problem. The only reason they support this particular case is because it involves genitalia.
For a more likely example, what if this person were mentally impaired? Their handlers swear up-n-down that ‘they are good to go!’, but would anyone feel good about sending someone with that particular genetic anomaly into the ring to do combat sports? How could anyone be sure the person fully understood all of the ramifications of boxing, possible injury, possible life-altering after-effects and so on? You couldn’t, they couldn’t, and so erring on the side of caution, that boxer would not be allowed to box. In this case, it would be to protect that person directly, even against their stated outward wishes. A noble cause.
In the case of the male Olympian, it is to protect another person… an even nobler cause that requires some self-sacrifice (and the self-awareness to realize it).
The bottom line is, it is unfortunate that genetics does what it does at times, but that does not give one person the right to subvert the agreed upon rules of any given institution. Also known as “life is not always fair”.
Note just how many Nations have taken their athletes out of this farcicial olympics. Oh!, THAT many???

Got 3″ of rain in about 1 1/2 hours late yesterday afternoon at my Indiana home. Then got another 1″ this morning. Going to be bumper crops of corn and beans here and I bet Red Gold is also loving it for their tomatos. Looking in the fields and seeing 4 cobs per stock and the ears of sweet corn Steve picked up for me from a farmers stand near Rushville yesterday, look fantastic.

This is how the Apostle John deals with chapter 5 in his first epistle. It is his God-inspired goal that you understand and that, in understanding, you have confidence and assurance that what he has said is true.
When John says, “We know,” he wants you to have no doubt. The preposition he uses for “of” is ek, indicating both source and possession. God is your source, and you belong to Him. The Apostle Paul said the same thing in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
There are two powers mentioned in today’s verse—God and the evil one.
John carefully draws a sharp distinction between believers and the world. Pastor and author Steven Cole writes, “He does not allow for a middle category of true believers who keep one foot in the world. Either you are ‘of God’ and separate from the evil world, or you are of the world, and you lie in the arms of the evil one.”
There have been recent surveys of Americans concerning worldviews. Sadly, in a large portion of those who say they are Christians, there is little difference in morals and values from the general population.

A friend is running for an important office in her county. We bat information back/forth. We choose not to read the same sources as much as possible. She believes in God, rarely goes to Church and more rarely reads her Bible.

Israel Update:
-This is a bit of a different update. I am asking for your prayers. We are about to be at the receiving end of the largest attack in history. Reports that this time the Iranians are about to attack with a five times more drones and missiles, if the attack on April involved some 200-300 drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, the reports now are about 1,500 from Iran, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq. Ballistic missiles are huge and can take down buildings regardless of the safe-rooms that we have. Most apartments in Israel have a concrete safe-room.
They are trying to overwhelm the defense systems and may strike in two waves, one from Iran and Yemen and Iraq and Syria and one from Lebanon.
Those reports are from Intelligence sources. It is serious.
They are preparing it as we speak. They will go for strategic targets, Air Bases and others probably, also civilian targets.
It is likely to happen within the next 24-48 hours.
Unlike the Six Days War that we had a strong leadership that knew that if we wait we will be at an existential threat and therefore they launched a preemptive strike and won the war rapidly, our leaders now are containing this and have been acting on “containment policy of weakness”.
I will explain: Before 10/7 we knew of the growing power of Hamas and Hezbollah. Every round of attacks on Hamas was a response to killing us. Since Hezbollah restrained from attacks we just let them become the monster that is now and threatening us now.
Last week we had a rocket attack on a children’s soccer game with 12 children dead and dozens injured. This followed with taking out the Chief of Staff of Hezbollah who was responsible. There is a policy of “if you kill enough of us we will have the world’s legitimacy to strike back”. And this is all on the government and Bibi.
For nine months we contain the daily attacks from Hezbollah and respond in similar power on a daily basis rather than change the equation. Would the US contain daily rockets on its civilians and bases in the US?
Now, to Bibi’s defense would be said that we do need legitimacy to receive support from the US, munitions, diplomatic and some actual interceptions far from Israel. Yet, it is the policy that got us to 10/7 and Bibi is continuing it.
Yes, I am touching on the “holy cow”, the good PR that Bibi has in the US. But I am sure that I am reporting to you what the majority of Israelis feel. My intention is to report both on happenings and also thoughts and feelings in Israel.
Last time it was a good work of the US and Israel which prevented a disaster and also some miracles. But one can’t count on miracles again and again. A preemptive strike is required to prevent the upcoming disaster and I doubt that it will happen. Rather Bibi had a talk with Biden and Kamala yesterday. On US media it was leaked that there were yelling and very harsh talk. Biden apparently said that “taking out the Leader of Hamas didn’t help to achieve a ceasefire and hostage deal”. Just imagine that a US President would have been yelled at for taking out Osama Bin Laden. Now, whether the yelling actually took place or it was just a harsh talk doesn’t matter. I believe that the content is correct.
They apparently also discussed a deployment of US forces to help protect Israel from the upcoming imminent attack. I mean missile defense, not boots on the ground. This is good and appreciated. Biden’s policy has always been “We are committed to help defend Israel, but they better not attack and escalate”.
That is why there is a halt on munitions and weapons but not on Iron Dome related finances and defensive weapons. If you remember after the last attack from Iran, while we received a very appreciated military help in intercepting the attack, Biden demanded as an exchange that Israel will de-escalate and almost not respond. And so it happened. I am sure that if we were to respond with taking out some of their oil fields they would now think twice about attacking again. The whole Israeli policy for decades counted on Iron Done and we contained thousands of rockets over the years. Just because we didn’t have “enough casualties” Hamas and Hezbollah were permitted to continue and grow.
Our older people still remember days when they could walk in Gazan markets safely. The monster was permitted to grow. Sinwar and even Ismael Haniyeh the two leaders of Hamas were both in Israeli prisons in the past. Sinwar was released in the miserable hostage exchange deal over 1000 terrorists in exchange for one soldier. That was also a deal that Bibi did. So yes, Bibi has many pluses but also responsibility to the mess that we are dealing with now. In this phone call yesterday apparently Biden pushed again to stop the war which means surrender to Hamas’ demands. Let them stay in power and a complete withdraw. Bibi will never agree. This would mean disrespecting the fallen soldiers and their sacrifice. It would mean that they died for no reason. This wouldn’t pass in Israel.
-As to the assasination of Hamas leader in Teheran. It was now published that it was not a missile but a planted bomb in his room. Planted a month before he even showed up. I guess he had a reserved room where he would come to sometimes and Israel knew.
-My prediction unfortunately is that this time we will take some serious casualties. This will promote a strike in Iranian oil fields and a rise in oil prices. As I said before, a rise in oil prices may well be the trigger to make Trump win the elections. God help us.
-Israel may still deter this from happening with pulling out nukes and letting them know what the price may be. Or a US serious threat on Iran. But it is not so likely at this moment. The Israeli nukes are kept for the last resort in case we are losing a war and about to all die. I could be wrong and I hope so. But for now we need prayers.
-Hezbollah are evacuating their command centers in Beirut. They expect a War and attacks on Beirut.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Praise Your holy name Heavenly Father, for granting yet another day in my life and for being with me every step of the way. Thank You for the many blessings that You have provided and the love and fellowship that I have with the friends and family that in Your grace You have placed in my life.
My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.

Loving Lord, as the day is coming to an end, I want to thank You for being with me in all that has taken place today. I also want to lay the whole day before You, asking that you would show me if there is anything that I have done to hurt or harm another person unknowingly, or if I have done anything that is displeasing in Your sight, or quenched the work of the Spirit in me, so that I may turn away from such things in the days that lie ahead.
Lord, I desire to do Your will in all things. I pray that You would cleanse me of any wrong thoughts or attitudes that may have surfaced in my heart today. Wash me in Your cleansing flood, I pray.
Thank You, that You are a God who forgives our transgressions when we are willing to confess them to You, knowing that such cleansing before You immediately draws us back into sweet fellowship with Yourself.

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.

Three little girls were murdered in Southport, England, this week, but according to Starmer, the real problem is ‘disorder.’
Starmer’s soft-on-crime, tough-on-dissent program, the National Violent Disorder Programme, would allow law enforcement to use mass surveillance with facial recognition meant to “deter rising crime in the United Kingdom” more widely across the country.
But his remarks that it will help to “stamp out the violent disorder seen in recent weeks” suggests the main goal is to stop British citizens from protesting the woke immigration policies that are destroying the U.K.
