Notice that it’s not just “the tree of good and evil,” but rather “the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.” That’s right! God doesn’t even want us to KNOW what good and evil is. Instead, He wants us to know HIM!
You can’t be looking out for good and evil and walking by faith at the same time! Paul says it’s either all works or it’s all grace. There is no hybrid, so ditch the “Law” (yes, even the 10 commandments) and walk by faith in Christ who lives inside of you!

i was just being silly yesterday talking about my hand .. most times i don’t think i convey my thoughts .. in the way that i am intending..
my joke was ….. my right hand was bragging ( meaning you know, like being able to make a fist , or my fingers being able to bend enough to hold something in my left hand ), what all it could do .. that my left hand can’t..because sometimes when i’m struggling with the exercise to get each finger to reach over and tap my thumb ..and then i look over at my right hand , and do it and its just : bam bam bam ! easy peasy !! its just a verrrry big contrast .. what one hand can do sooo easily.. that the fingers on my left hand can’t..my fingers are still swollen and dont want to bend at the joints .. and there are 3 joints on each finger !! so thats 3 separate areas on each finger i have to focus on .our wrists are the most complex joint of our bodies .. sooo much going on there !
but . i can tell its improving..just a real eye opener. and i actually can drive my car .. just hold the steering wheel with my legs, when my right hand needs to shift 😉

I had a broken wrist a couple years ago and the therapist told me to let the good hand teach the hurt one…

I’ve had two hand surgeries, at different times.
And the last one took forever to heal.
I keenly remember the last doctor visit … he left the room to fetch an injection for my hand.
I HATE needles (especially BIG ones) and was so anxious while waiting for him.
Then, this verse came to mind:
“Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” (Psalm 16:8)

Patrick Byrne born in? Ft Wayne, Indiana. I say it over and over… “we grow more than corn in Indiana… we grow dirty politicians.” Say what you will about Patrick, but Indiana is just plain weird with its correlations. His father is former chairman of GEICO. Generational wealth. Published a dossier that I printed and kept copy of during COVID explaining the attempt to bust Overstock.com through stock short sells (just like the case of GameStop). I printed the random 30 some odd page document believing I was holding a piece of history. Squirreling it away for posterity.
Listening to him makes my head hurt, though, if only for the sensationalism of the upper echelon of our government designed to pull off the greatest coup in the history of the world… and “coup”… for sure, is what he says this is. We are living through it.
Hard for a mind to power down and cycle to resting mode when there is so much fascination and intrigue to filter through.

Yuck meeting tomorrow with the boss to go over hard truths found while he was on vacation. I am usually fairly insulated,
but when he’s gone… I’m second in charge and hear more. I have to head off a potential conflict this fall involving our labor force. We are at an uncomfortable point of growth as a small business and some of the puzzle pieces in place don’t fit and two managers want to move them around and remove one piece entirely. Still no final word on reprieve from tax man… sure wish I could soften things with good news from that.
Savannah’s on the chapter of “How To Win Friends and Influence People” by using honey and not vinegar. I’ll use that little gem tomorrow. Talk about Divinely inspired timing.
Makes me glad to go to the grocery store. Hopefully zone out and just do some manual labor for a while. No listening to podcasts allowed. Hope they play some good music. They do that at Trader Joe’s while their staff stocks shelves.

-A night of Intelligence based attacks on targets in central Gaza. Some 30 killed and 60 injured including the sister of Hamas Political Leader Ismail Hanyieh with her husband.
-Estimation of a few weeks 2-4 to complete the powerful stage of war in Gaza and then it will be less forces and more Intelligence based raids. The important point is that this will enable to mobilize forces to the North. And it’s already happening.
-Close to 100,000 Israelis left their homes in North Israel. This is an unacceptable situation to any sovereign nation.
The American representative Mr Amos Hochstein who tried to reach an agreement with Hezbollah to stop their attacks on Israel and withdraw a few miles according to an old UN resolution that they agreed to decades ago, he stated that he failed.
At the same time Bibi and the Defense Minister are in talks with the US Officials in an effort to release the stuck flow of munitions to Israel. Bibi made a statement which pissed off the Biden Administration. He said that “It’s not acceptable to withhold munitions when we are in an existential war of survival. While there were some negative statements about Bibi coming from the Biden’s Administration, I saw reports that there are now more munitions arriving.
If there won’t be a deal with Hamas in the next few weeks we may see a massive war with Hezbollah.
Israel doesn’t want this war at this time but may not have another option to get the residents back home.
There is a lot of noise on the subject and psychological pressures so it’s hard to tell what is going to happen
but Israel is mobilizing to the North. The US is also saying that they may not be able to stop the imminent war if Hezbollah won’t cut a deal and cease the attacks. The US is also sending ti the area a massive carrier. Hezbollah issued a film threatening the carrier. Israel is preparing to a possibility of major infrastructure damage, like the power grid, etc…
The IDF is attacking daily major munition storages of Hezbollah and killed a large number of their commanders. Preparing for a maneuver into Lebanon. There is pressure because whoever will strike first will have an advantage.
A deal with Hamas may stop it all for now. They may soften now that we are stronger on their throats.
Bibi just said in an interview that there is no way he stops the war altogether.
The IDF is tired on one hand. But more experienced on the other hand.

Good morning all.
Been trying to work through a dental abscess that blew up Friday. My dentist works in Indy on Friday. So over the weekend I was rather miserable. Got in to see him yesterday. Now taking Penicillin VK and he gave me Hydrocodone for pain. Took one Hydrocodone before going to bed and got the best sleep I’ve had in days. Will get the infected tooth out on July 8th. Sure will be nice when the effect of the antibiotic kicks in. Having family over for the 4th and I’ve got things to do.
Hoping to be able to mow today. Been putting it off because I really didn’t feel up to doing it in 90 deg weather.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer For Grace At The End Of The Day
Heavenly Father, as the day is drawing to its close I ask that Your continued love and presence be with me and with all that are Your children in Christ. Guard us through the long hours of darkness this night I pray, and keep us safe from all harm and dangers that may try to cross our threshold.
Give us, I pray, an untroubled night of rest and quietness of heart. May we be refreshed and renewed in body, soul and spirit as we rest our weary hearts in You through the hours of the night.
Lord, I pray that by Your great grace and mercy, You would grant us untroubled sleep so that we may rise up in the morning strong to do Your bidding. May we all rejoice for the dawn of a new day, knowing that Your mercies are new every morning. In Jesus’ name,

Prayer Of Reflection On The Past Day
Loving Lord, as the day is coming to an end, I want to thank You for being with me in all that has taken place today. I also want to lay the whole day before You, asking that you would show me if there is anything that I have done to hurt or harm another person unknowingly, or if I have done anything that is displeasing in Your sight, or quenched the work of the Spirit in me, so that I may turn away from such things in the days that lie ahead.
Lord, I desire to do Your will in all things. I pray that You would cleanse me of any wrong thoughts or attitudes that may have surfaced in my heart today. Wash me in Your cleansing flood, I pray.
Thank You, that You are a God who forgives our transgressions when we are willing to confess them to You, knowing that such cleansing before You immediately draws us back into sweet fellowship with Yourself.

Given that I’m an 82 year old grandmother, you’ll forgive me if my comment has already been addressed. But I’m wondering why I haven’t seen discussion (could have missed it) on the attack of Russian beachgoers by fragmentation shells from US-supplied ATACMS missiles. Reportedly 4 people were killed and almost 200 injured. Russia has warned it will respond. Clearly this is an escalation toward WWIII by the Biden administration and yet have not seen/heard much news/discussion of this latest danger and unhinged move by the U.S. (Supposedly, the handling of this missile technology depends on help of American advisors.)
