Jer. 3:22 “Return, O faithless sons,
I will heal your faithlessness.”
“Behold, we come to You;
For You are the Lord our God.
PS. 16:2 O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
Jer. 31:18 “I have surely heard Ephraim grieving,
‘You have chastised me, and I was chastised,
Like an untrained calf;
Bring me back that I may be restored,
For You are the Lord my God.
PS. 31:14 But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord,
I say, “You are my God.”
PS. 143:10 Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Zech. 13:9 “And I will bring the third part through the fire,
Refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them;
I will say, ‘They are My people,’
And they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

prayer For those in tribulation
Let us pray, dearly beloved, to God the Father almighty, that he may cleanse the world of all errors, banish disease, drive out hunger, unlock prisons, loosen fetters, granting to travelers safety, to pilgrims return, health to the sick, and salvation to the dying. Prayer in silence. Almighty ever-living God, comfort of mourners, strength of all who toil, may the prayers of those who cry out in any tribulation come before you, that all may rejoice, because in their hour of need your mercy was at hand. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
If you take solace in the “tangible” Shroud of Turin, then I cannot speak against you, although I share no such solace with you and have no need of it. If you regard it as physical evidence of Christ, then “peace be unto you.” May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you.
Thank you, nonetheless, for sharing this very beautiful music.
I feel I need to interject – do you know that new, recent reseach has revealed new info about the shroud?
How well versed might you be on the events that took place at Fatima, or Lourdes?

Lord, we remember how your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, was betrayed and condemned to die for our sins. We pray that you would help us to remember his great sacrifice and love for us. We also pray that you would help us to turn away from our sin and follow you. Amen.”

A magnificent performance.
No, I did not come from the Catholic [musical …] tradition, but I continue to be impressed with my next introduction to it. What a very stunning thing it is! Thank you so very much for sharing. (And, wasn’t Janet Gorbitz’s performance absolutely fantastic. Thanks to her, also.) Wow.

The 13th Station of the Cross. Jesus is taken down from the Cross and given to his Mother, Mary.
Watching live from Rome (Collesium) the traditional Stations of the Cross. Beautiful music. Very moving.
