Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Thinking of “today”, thinking of “now”:
2 Cor. 6:2 (cf. Isaiah 49:8)
“For He says: “In the acceptable time I listened to you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the time of favor; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Isaiah 55:6-7
“Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the LORD, and He will have mercy on them, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”
Hebrews 3:15a (cf. Psalms 95:7-8)
“As it has been said: “If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts…”
Revelation 22:17 (cf. Isaiah 55:1)
“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come, and the one who desires the water of life drink freely.”
—
Thinking of why:
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Romans 5:8
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
John 5:24
“Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.”
—
Thinking of how:
Luke 18:13
“And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’”
James 4:8a
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
John 6:28-29
“Therefore they said to Him, “What must we do, that we may be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you should believe in Him whom He has sent.””
Mark 9:24b
“‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.'”
Acts 16:30-31
“Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.””
Hey!
I just read that on Bible Gateway as I do daily.
Thanks much and Happy Thanksgiving 🍁
Amen!

Tonight I’m posting an entire suite by S. l. Weiss. It’s played by Mark Bueno who is playing a 13 sting guitar which can use a lute tuning. This gives his instrument a unique sound—part guitar and part lute. Mark’s playing is exquisite, his guitar, made by Lucio Nunez, sounds wonderful, and the whole performance is, simply put, magical. Sometimes all the pieces come together in a performance. This is one of those times.
Nice.

Thank You for posting That !
Happy and Grateful Thanksgiving to You 💐
P.S. I sure hope You are Done Washing Dishes for Awhile 😜
It’s Cursday Treepers. Earlier today I was talking to a neighbor about our late border colliee, Sweetie. She was a border collie stray that somehow “escaped” (I think she’d been let out the back-door) of the local dog pound and wound up on the patio of the restaurant I frequented. We hit it off immediately.
I named her “Sweetie” and took her home. Border collies are interesting dogs. They are very smart. Sweetie immediately connected with my wife.. Wherever she went, Sweetie went. The human/animal connection is mysterious—even mystical.
But the fact is it is quite real. We are lucky to have our animals in our lives.
Oh, yeah . . . All dogs go to heaven.
Garrison ,
Excellent ! Tyson got a Happy Ending ! Love That !
Grateful and Happy Thanksgiving to You and Yours , Garrison 💐
You, too. 🙂
Sundance: please post this — Robert F. Kennedy’s interview on Tucker Carlson. He lays bare the plot by Gates, Fauci, and the rest of the globalist billionaires to end freedom on a planetary scale: and he has the facts and evidence.
A stunning video:
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/robert-kennedy-jr-exposes-gates-fauci-and-govt-collusion-in-interview-with-tucker-carlson/
Friends, please send the interview to any liberal loved ones/family members you hope to awaken to the dangers facing us. Kennedy is a lifelong Democrat; they might just listen.
Parents, grandparents: you must hear what he reveals about the vaccines. All of them.
God bless, and have a happy Thanksgiving, folks.
Kennedy has all the details and the proof in his nuclear bomb of a book: THE REAL ANTHONY FAUCI. Copies are backordered on Amazon but you can get it on Kindle for $2.99 (well, until the Powers that Be decide to erase it; all Kindle books are on the Cloud).
Green Fraud, American Marxism, Rigged, and The Real Anthony Fauci will provide a pretty solid education on what has been done to destroy liberty and freedom in our country. Mark’s American Marxism passed the 1 million mark in sales about a month ago which is a good indication that the MAGA movement’s rednecks-in-pickups (and I include myself in that description) are paying close attention.
Just listened to the whole interview. It was chillingly predictable. I became suspicious of Fauci the very first time I heard him speak. Kennedy thoroughly explains why. Right now I’m reading RIgged. The Fauci book’s next. Thanks for posting.
Stunning is a good word for it. Thank you for posting this & bringing it to my attention. I watched the entire interview & I just bought the book.
COME, YE THANKFUL PEOPLE COME!
HAVE A BLESSED AND HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
God bless President Trump, his family and the USA, the best country on earth …… none others are even close.

A Wonderful Thanksgiving To All
Really food post from an author you should be reading, one who was persecuted and “cancelled” before that even became a common term.

FTA:
The difference between a healthy culture and a sick culture is not that the former is full of saints and the latter is full of devils. It is that the healthy culture raises high walls against evil and consciously directs its young people to what is good and noble, faithful and pure, while the sick culture hardly raises any wall, and, worse than failing to direct the young, fairly pushes into some participation in wickedness the last few souls who are by nature most averse to it
THE SECRET OF SPIRITUAL COHERENCE
“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Gal. vi. 14
When a man is first born again, he becomes incoherent, there is an amount of unrelated emotion about him, unrelated phases of external things. In the apostle Paul there was a strong steady coherence underneath, consequently he could let his external life change as it liked and it did not distress him because he was rooted and grounded in God. Most of us are not spiritually coherent because we are more concerned about being coherent externally. Paul lived in the basement; the coherent critics live in the upper story of the external statement of things, and the two do not begin to touch each other. Paul’s consistency was down in the fundamentals. The great basis of his coherence was the agony of God in the Redemption of the world, viz., the Cross of Jesus Christ.
Re-state to yourself what you believe, then do away with as much of it as possible, and get back to the bedrock of the Cross of Christ. In external history the Cross is an infinitesimal thing; from the Bible point of view it is of more importance than all the empires of the world. If we get away from brooding on the tragedy of God upon the Cross in our preaching, it produces nothing. It does not convey the energy of God to man; it may be interesting but it has no power. But preach the Cross, and the energy of God is let loose. “It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” “We preach Christ crucified.”

You’re so right, love American Trilogy! Thanks for posting.
God bless you all on this day of Thanksgiving.
My Granddaughter with her husband, stationed in S. Korea made Thanksgiving dinner for the whole platoon her husband is serving in. She is turning out to be a great Army wife. It is obvious that she and her husband are going to make it.
There are many things they can’t get over there and other things we take for granted here that are priced way out of the price range of a soldier. A watermelon, when available, cost $25.00.
Though their quarters are nice, their oven holds only a single 8″ x 10″ pan. Cooking all night; She cooked a dozen Turkey breasts in it. The breasts were served cold and the troops made sandwiches. She had mashed potatoes and gravy that was hot so that if someone wanted hot food they could make an open faced Manhattan instead of the cold Turkey sandwich. She made many dozens of deviled eggs as my wife had taught her and they were a great hit. She made cheezy mashed potatoes in the clow cooker and various other Thanksgiving favorites. It was a great hit and came off wonderfully.
We are so proud of her. She is learning the feeling of brotherhood that one who desires can be a part of in an Army unit. BTW, her husband and two others are the only white men in the platoon.
Being a military brat some of my earliest memories were my folks and other church members making sure that GI’s far from home received home cooking and a home atmosphere, not just at holidays. Just one of the many reasons that my kids grew up not only thanking GI’s for their service but their wives and kids also. You have every right to be proud! Please convey my thanks and support for their service. Salute.
P.S. Thanks for your service also.
I got in at midnight. Dealing with the traffic and then having to wait while they loaded a trailer for me to bring back to Anderson. If I had not taken a vacation day for Thanksgiving I would be on the road. I would have spent my Thanksgiving parked along a curb at Vandalia and then driving back up to Newaygo. I know that several other guarantee drivers are on the road today. I have missed a couple Thanksgivings in the past since I started trucking.
There is a fair chance that I will be called Friday to run.
What do you haul?
I haul auto parts more than anything else. The companies have runs for TENNECO, Toyota, Nissan, GM, and Volkswagon. But we also haul Nestles product, both dry van and refer and that makes it even busier than usual during the season as the warehouses and DCs stock up.
The run I was covering this week was Toyota. Pickup at manufacturers in Newaygo, Muskegon, and Holland then take them down to the company cross dock in Vandalia, OH. Though only the Donnaly facility in Holland is shipping today and tomorrow, as per the contract with Toyota, the driver must go to ALL the stops.
Spent many a holiday at places like Little America or some other truck stop on the road in my first 20 hauling produce. Sometimes lucky enough to be near a relative to bob tail to their home.
come on over,
come on over …
it’s Thanksgiving Day !
Not sure what changed on the site (if anything), but I can’t upvote. All it does is make a black dot go back and forth in the upper right corner. Strange. FBI?
There was an annual maintenance done weds, and since then things have tweeked a bit. When I post, a black dot goes back and forth as you describe, but after a few seconds or so, it loads it.
About 25 seconds and the upvote and/or post appears. Thanks.
Counted about 40 seconds, just for the fun of it.
Abominably slow. But today’s a holiday. They can fix it after they give thanks.
Just finished carving the 23 lb. Turkey. That is work! Over the years I have tried various methods of carving as depicted on Youtube videos from various sources, but none of them really make the job any easier. I have settled on the method of removing and carving the legs first, followed by the thighs, and then the wings, leaving better access to the breast so I can carve those big thin slabs of breast meat more easily.
Now it’s time to get my shoes on and load up the FJ with the Turkey, stuffing, gravy, and deviled eggs and head to Dads, House. I will be taking a bottle of that excellent Evan Williams spiked Egg Nog with me and I know that my Dad will Love it.
never had that kind of egg nog.
here is my eggnog recipe straight out of Joy of Cooking: (sterilize milking bucket) 12 beaten egg yolks; 1 pound XX sugar beat into yolks; pint of dark Jamaca rum added slowly with constant beating; let that mixture stand at least an hour so you don’t taste the egg yolks so much; add another pint or two of the dark rum and 1/2 gallon whipping cream and a cup of peach brandy all the while beating constantly; cover the bucket and refrigerate it (put it on the back porch) for at least three hours. when people ready for it beat the 12 egg whites until foamy and fold them in. dust with grated nutmeg
this Thanksgiving we had so much food the left overs would feed “the spear Danes AND their chiefs and leaders” may even be some for the Geets.
the stuffing really good as I found some chestnuts!
Per instructions from the U.S. Dept of Justice Community Relations Service (DOJ-CRS) all my local media (TV, newspapers) have scrubbed any mention of the Waukesha Race Massacre from their websites. Thanksgiving comes in handy for a distraction as well. Like it never even happened.
So I was reading a lefty blog (Naked Captialist) and the blog author was recounting how Thanksgiving was, for her, pretty miserable. The comments were pretty telling as most were in agreement that Thanksgiving was horrible due to having to be with family. I can see how the libs get their mind-set.
Happy American Thanksgiving Holiday, Treepers!
lilbirdee12’s prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.
Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and his family as they seek to lead America back to You. Also, we pray for Angels to protect and support our Sundance as he works for justice and peace.
Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.
We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
Amen
Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
Here’s this morning’s Thanksgiving Matins service from the little church I attend. Aside from the fact that it does not offer Holy Communion, Matins is my favorite service – concentrated acknowledgement of what God has done and praise for Him.
If you weren’t able to get to a church service today, you might enjoy this.
If you scroll down from the playback controls, you’ll see all the words of the hymns and readings.
Happy Thanksgiving, Treepers!
