I prefer “pushed back”, as in; she made the statement, she was boo’d out of the stadium, her handlers saw the unpopularity of her stance and told her to retract it. So, she did so.

So, instead of explaining her true beliefs, she taylors her statements to that which her handlers believe you want to hear. Oh, she has a following, to be sure. Neither of her parents were US citizens when she was born. Therefore, she’s not a natural born citizen and can never be Constitutionally eligible to legally serve as president or vice president.

After 2012, I vowed I would never vote for the lesser of two evils again. If I couldn’t vote FOR someone, I would not cast a ballot for POTUS and confine myself to down ballot races. I was all prepared to do that in 2016, but along came Donald Trump and he got my vote enthusiastically in 2016 and 2020. I don’t think Trump will run in 2024. I think he knows he can’t win because there is no way the Republicans are going to let him win the nomination. He caught the GOPe totally off-guard in 2016 and they couldn’t put the toothpaste back in the tube by the time the nominating convention rolled around. That won’t happen again. If he tried to run, we would see massive cheating to foil him during the primary that exceeds what the Democrats did in the 2020 general election. The only other person I would vote for is DeSantis. None of the others will get a vote from me. I believe there are millions who feel the same way. The Democrats won’t have to cheat nearly as much if the GOPe gives the nomination to Haley.
If they run Haley as the GOPe candidate for president it’s to guarantee the Dem candidate a victory, just like Romney in 2012.
