That smooth unctuous monotone (did he used to sound like that before dementia? I never listened back in the 47-year day) grates on me like 60-grit sandpaper. Yeesh. Is that supposed to soothe the undecided voter into mailing back his/her/zir pre-populated unsolicited ballots?

Debates are generators of future snapshots of the who the candidate is, what the candidate has done, what he supports, who his supporters are, and his platform. This is not about who won, this is about seeing what to vote for. Biden’s show case was a nasty horror show.

Black voters that watched saw one thing, Biden is jail not jobs.

Biden is a loser and America will be a massive loser if Biden and his crowd usurps the voter with a stolen election.

    3) Grand-papa Doc Biden, Mama Doc Obama and the wicked witch (feels just right)

  6. I thought the debate was terrible, but I have never been a fan of these debates. Biden did a better job than I could have imagined, I have no idea how they made him that cognizant (that’s not saying much)
Trump, however…….geez. Mr Tump will not lose voters. No one is going to vote for the elderly robot that is not already committed and Trump voters know exactly what they are voting for.
Trump certainly could have shut his mouth and let Biden hang himself. The shouting on all three sides was absurd. I’m only going to watch a second debate to see if Trump can shut up.

President Trump did an excellent job in the debate. Slow Joe and his pal Wallace wanted to be able to stand there and give his carefully prepared answers. Of course and rightly so President Trump would have none of it. If President Trump did not interrupt and be forceful like he was then Biden’s lies would have remained unchallnged. This is why the media is crying this morning and saying he was mean because they just wanted President Trump to shut up just like Slow Joe told him too.

      • True ,Biden had his pre-programmed/ coordinated(?) talking points/answers and MSM upset that Biden didn’t get to spew them as rehearsed and was upended by VSGT “interruptions” . Biden’s rehearsed Beau “outrage” moment fell flat – VSGT “i’m talking about Hunter”- Biden pause /confusion, His childhood Scranton poor kid thing was flat – who cares about a 78 year old man’s childhood . So ironic /kind of ridiculous that said VSGT hiding etc- a one second fact check on that – BTW Wallace was pathetic, a total pussyhat in all respects. He took a Megan Kelly career fall on that performance.

President Trump was forced to do three roles in the debate and he did them well.

I doubt he picked up any voters last night. Probably did not loose any either though as Biden was poor too. But Biden was expected to do a poor Job.

First and for most., Biden got angery and said quietly that he was not there to debate trump and then he said he would not answer several questions and Wallace time and again just when President Trump was in the middle of his answers ( being presidential Wallace would cut him off and how sad that not one question asked of Biden got answered because of Wallace and maybe President Trump did try to get him off his game but how sad that Wallace Turned out to be the real loser in all this and I use to watch some shows on Fox and I will never do so again.. and Where was the right when Wallace refused to call out Biden when he called the President Names and told him to shut up and told him he was not going to answer his questions Well excuse me but thats what he was there for

It wasn’t what it’s been purported to be and those who were there aren’t some cookie-cutter identity group nodding in unison to the beat of the same superficial drum (and there were also some plants to facilitate the narrative so many have aligned with.)

There are many ways to accept or adapt to a narrative and allow it to control belief.

I only wished Trump would have addressed what a GD mess Obama and Biden left him, itemize each of the numerous disasters he inherited and and specifically explain he had to clean up each one of them for the American people. This would have been a WOW moment. His accomplishments are more than outstanding given what a shitshow he was left with.

The critical race theory question was a typical squirrel thrown out by Wallass. A low priority question in the scheme of things that could have been discussed to deliberately make Trump stumble. Trump basically said it was anti-American which was a strong answer. Biden said it is supposed to make Americans ‘feel good about themselves’. THAT was a wimpy typical leftist answer.

Words matter. Let’s not stop policing language. It’s been a huge part of the playbook of the left to alter the meanings of words. There wasn’t much push back. My nieces spent several days of a vacation calling people “haters” for things like chocolate cake is better than vanilla. It was the first foray into canceling. Now everything is hate speech. Language is violence. It was disrespectful to call Bush “Bushie”. The left did it unrelentingly. It was purposeful – esp when some of us had noticed that after Clinton – he was always called President – not “former” President – President as if he still was in the office. Removing titles and honors is part of the dehumanizing and delegitimizing of President Trump, former President Bush, and us. “Trump” is his brand. His Brand.

All former Presidents are referred to as “former” unless speaking directly to them and then they are referred to “President”. Since you hate the left’s use of policing language and I totally agree with you on that, why do you condone policing those who refer to the President exactly how the President refers to himself. That simply is not consistent.

Observation….not only did Biden call President a clown, to shut up three times, a liar many times, he showed massive disrespect for him by referring to the President as “That Man” over and over. I have noticed Pelosi always calls him a liar also. That is the strategy. Notice Wallace never ask Biden point blank about the spying. That is the other strategy. Never ask so no comment. To my knowledge no one has ask Obama about his spying.

That is how Obama got away with his ties to Bill Ayers and Communist. When ask he would not utter a word. Media got the message and stopped asking. I saw an interview where Ayers admitted that was their strategy.

I am proud of President Trump for fighting and he has a right to be angry. Somehow people think they are better than him and can judge his demeanor over and over yet Biden and his sorry morals are ok. Please defend President Trump for he is fighting a communist take over.

  19. All night I have been perturbed over Biden’s direct insults at our President. To call him clown, racist, liar, the worst President we’ve ever had, etc., in public and on national television, is not “Presidential” behavior, or even nominally civil.

Leftists won’t mind because they hate President Trump, and have heard these accusations through the lying media so constantly they believe them to be true.

But it tells me that this is what Biden hears consistently, and in his fevered demented brain, has absorbed. He had no compunction at all speaking in such a classless way to The President of The United Stated. On stage. Taking us, if possible, to a new low in public debate and respect even for the Office of the President.

I truly believe that Biden has no idea of any of the many things President Trump has accomplished. But it doesn’t matter when you can get by with simply insulting and lying – and that’s enough for your base.

But they don’t like Biden at all and hundreds of thousands of them won’t vote for him. They think their future is in the current Democrat Party being destroyed. That only happens if it loses.

A few will. As much as we are frustrated by Lucy pulling the football on things like Obama care (McCain), there exist Bernie Bros who genuinely supported Bernie on things like trade and are having a hard time not seeing how the DS used Bernie not once but twice. They are feeling that Bern. And not inclined to vote for Biden. May even vote for Trump.

    From a Trump supporter

    Biden won the debate
    By Ted Belman

I watched the whole thing live and felt Biden won for the following reasons,

    – Biden spoke directly to the cameras and came across as sincere and believable
    – Biden had the benefit of being able to attack Trumps actions or lack thereof for the last 3.5 years. That put Trump on the defensive.
    – Trump spent too much time defending himself rather than making the case for himself.
    – Instead should have said each time “There he goes again with his fake news” before extolling all the good he has done.
    – Trump’s folksy manner at rallies doesn’t work in a debate.
    – Trump should have had set speeches ready for expected questions. He relied on extemporaneous comments. He was not effective.
    – Trump’s tactic of hounding Biden didn’t serve him well.
    – It was very difficult to defend his pandemic performance. There were too many issues to address.
    – Trump should have had a prepared speech for the pandemic in which he listed all the stuff he did do
    – Trump should not have tried to defend himself.
    – Trump should have had a set speech to use for the charge that he was a racist. He could have listed all his great accomplishments.
    – Trump spent too much time bringing up Biden’s lack of accomplishments over the years. He should have spent his time listing his own accomplishments.

I blame his handlers for their choice of tactics.

Biden also, if the photos that are now starting to surface on the twitterverse are accurate, Biden also had the benefit of being wired. I have seen two separate photos that show the wires, one posted on James Woods twitter and another, @RichardStiller4 (Golden Advice) showing how the wiring works.

I don’t know how to share twitter posts but I do believe that President Trump suspected this was going to happen and also that the moderator Wallace was part of the plan given the amount of times he would not let the President finish a sentence while letting Biden wax on and on.

I am amazed at the President’s ability to function on the high level he does with achieving his political, and administrative agenda in the midst of this continuing 24/7 non-stop coup. It’s astounding the fortitude this man must have.

So obvious that the deep state machine and Soros boys are at work this morning in overdrive mode.

They are on all websites acting like disappointed Trump supporters.
They are members of the right and left media calling the debate for Biden.
They are asking Biden to cancel future debates.

We all expected this reaction months ago. We all know Wallace would do everything in his power to help and cover for Biden. So I am not surprised at all.

The only honest poll and people’s honest immediate reaction was Telemundo polling Hispanics on who won the debate:

      Trump 66%
      Biden. 34%

If Biden won so big why are his supporters telling him to skip the last two?

Also have to realize Wallace kept interrupting President Trump and prevent him from responding to Hiden’s lies. When you are a democrat and Telemundo scores it 64 to 36 for Trump, you got serious problems with a population that’s supposed to be part of your base.

Ask yourself this: How in the world can a Republican lose a debate about race relations to a Democrat? That should be impossible.

The reason we lose is because Republicans are afraid to go there. Memorize this:

The most powerful, influential white nationalist organization in American history is the Democrat Party.

That is not an opinion, it is a fact. They started their own white nation known as the Confederacy.

Retired Magistrate here: Why should anyone be surprised that President Trump acted like President Trump last night? If you tell lies about him, he is going to counter punch with the truth. If President Trump didn’t interrupt the false statements would stand. Sure there are some things that he could have come back better with, but he was debating two people, Wallace and Biden.

Look at it this way. When a President is negotiating with another country that does not have our best interests at heart, I don’t want Mr. Milk Toast representing me, I want a fighter who has my best interests at heart; not the other country’s.

If we were still in America the slings and arrows would have mostly stopped after the results of the 2016 election.

It breaks my heart that Melania, our beautiful and extremely gracious First Lady of The United States, was never allowed to enjoy the office in the way that her predecessors did.

The New Black Panthers, Teachers’ Unions, Organizing for America, Antifa, Occupy Wall Street, Black Lies Matter, the plethora of groups being supported by Soros and those being supported by the CCP have all contributed to the irrational hate in their effort to tear down any American sense of unity and destroy the United States.

No one has played a bigger role in tearing down our country, founders, monuments, traditions, history, holidays, truth, our law and justice, or our patriotic President than the scheming lying media and its rabid mouthpieces.

How quickly we forget. Some of the comments here today questioning POTUS style and demeanor are mirror images of what we saw here in 2016. The MSM narrative is the same as what we saw in 2016. The engineered polling will be the same as we saw in 2016. It is the SSDD.

I keep going back to this. I can’t believe anyone who voted for POTUS in 2016 will suddenly decide to leave him after what he has accomplished. In fact, I think many more who didn’t vote for him will this time.

    As I see it
the problem with defining a winner from last night’s debate is – what is the criteria for ‘winning’?

Trump was Trump – winning for us as he has from the beginning
Biden was the Democrat Party – as defined by the death knell defined above
Wallace was the MSM – also on its death bed as so often observed

Winning – depended on which one you though ‘won’ last night – or which one made it more obvious what they represent

I seriously doubt that the 2 vs. 1 cage match changed anyone’s mind regarding how they will vote. The event stoked the enmity that each side feels toward the other. This election is descending to the odious level of hate vs. hate, and regardless of the eventual outcome the country will remain perilously divided and an increasingly unpleasant place to live.

the debates are like boxing matches where the Democrats would love to allow Joe to do combinations of jab (lie), jab (lie) right cross (big lie)… and then when its Trumps turn jab, (moderator interrupts), jab (moderator interrupts), right (moderator interrupts) cross …
Trump is a verbal boxer … he gets it and won’t allow Biden to load up on him and jabs back after Bidens first jab, breaking up the intended combination …
Trump gives up the possibility to get in a big combination himself of course but pounding Joe with jabs all night with the occasional body shot takes a toll …

I know I’m biased, but Biden just looked awful last night. Like a cadaver, and all that plastic surgery just looks terrible. I think he has blue eyes, but they looked black during the debate. Drugs? And his dentures are just too white and too big, reminds me of Reverend Kane from the Poltergeist movie. Google it, you’ll agree with me. I wasn’t able to finish watching that movie, it’s too scary.
I kept thinking about the Nixon/Kennedy debate, and how much better JFK looked than Nixon. President Trump looked really good, alive, and vital. Yes, I wish he’d have just let Biden hang himself a few times last night, but on optics alone, POTUS won hands down.
Just finished watching some video of Biden this morning, and he looks half asleep–that annoying, monotone voice. How can anyone vote for that?
